The aim of this work is presents a direct power control (DPC) scheme for regulating stator active and reactive power for grid-connected Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) .the machine is connected to a public network and operates as a generator. Its rotor is powered by a voltage of two-level inverter. We offer the control of the DFIG by two strategies the first is based on the use of conventional direct power control (C-DPC) with hysteresis regulators and sliding mode control (SMC). Simulation results of proposed controller show successfully effectiveness such as the error between reference and actual values is enforced to zero comparatively to the C-DPC one. Besides, the robustness of machine parameter variation on system conversion simultaneous of wind speed is investigated.

Background. Numerous reviews report the beneficial effects of alpha tocopherol in preventive supplementation and also as an adjuvant in the treatment of some pathologies (cardiovascular, cancers). In this work, we analyzed the effects of vitamin E at high doses on some biochemical parameters. Methods. Thirty-two adult male and female mice (CD1 albino mice) were randomly selected for a 4-week experiment. The mice were supplemented with alpha tocopherol at doses of 150, 400 and 750mg/day. With a high dietary intake of vitamin E. Results. According to our analyses, we can note Excess weight predominated in groups 4 to 7. All the blood lipid parameters showed an abnormal concentration, as of the 400 mg dose of ?-T-acetate. Hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia were observed. These variations were more pronounced for total cholesterol and triglycerides than for HDL and LDL fractions. Conclusion. This study revealed that the consumption of high doses of vitamin E conferred on the animals a pro-oxidant status which induced a disturbance in lipid metabolism. This dysfunction resulted in obesity, kidney and liver abnormalities.

Multiphase asynchronous machines are used more and more for reasons of reliability and power segmentation. This study deals with the modeling and the control of a dual star induction generator (DSIG) connected to the grid via two rectifiers and a three-phase inverter controlled by PWM. A second order sliding mode has been applied to the DSIG control. The last part of this work was devoted to the integration of the DSIG in the wind energy conversion system. The results of simulations presented at the end of this work show the effectiveness of the proposed control in particular on the quality of the energy supplied to the grid.

An attempt has been made to examine the economic efficiency, cost and return analysis of major off-season vegetables in Himachal Pradesh. In the present study, major vegetables, namely pea, tomato, capsicum, cauliflower, French bean and cabbage was considered. The results revealed that the estimated per hectare cost of cultivation was highest in French bean/ green bean than that of other vegetable cultivation. Net returns per hectare in tomato cultivation was higher than that of other vegetables cultivation. The output-input ratio was found highest in case of tomato cultivation. In case of economic efficiency, study concluded that farmers were working in the first irrational zone of production function in case of pea, tomato, capsicum and cabbage i.e. increasing returns to scale. In case of cauliflower and French bean farmers were working in the third zone (irrational) of production function i.e. decreasing returns to scale. It indicates that vegetable growers do not make efficient use of their resources. The study also recommends optimum use of resources to achieve desire growth in vegetable cultivation. The vegetables cultivation has been influenced by number of factors like assess of irrigation facility, family labour, non-farm income of family and education level of cultivators was the main riving force for shifting towards vegetables cultivation.

In keyword search it is important to identify the actual meaning of a query and the context of query terms at an earlier phase. Conceptualization is the process of identifying this contextual information about query terms and to produce meaningful segments which guides to achieve search diversification. Because of the advancements in Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the growth in overall Parallel computing applications the search diversification process is not at all a risky job now. The proposed Semantic Search Diversification Model (SSDM) identifies the context of the search query at the very beginning of the search. The concept of Smallest Lowest Common Ancestor (SLCA) nodes is used to lock the desired key and semantic keys over the XML tree branches. The Mutual Information value of the given query terms and their semi features are considered. The Probabilistic weight of the search query is calculated based on the relevancy and the novelty of the query. The proposed Anchor based Semantic Preservation (AESP) algorithm extracts the weighted SLCA nodes for the original and generated queries from the given XML data and determines the anchor nodes to initiate the tree pruning. The node lists are assigned to multiple processors in order to achieve parallelism. The fuzzy set of the popular terms in the given data set is used for creating semantic table for the query terms. The Normalized Discounted Cumulative Gain (nDCG) measures of the SSDM shows the usefulness of the query suggestions, and a point to apply search annotations if needed.

In recent times, the significance of human resource management has expanded in India.HR practices have become more relevant and complicated because of the amalgamation of the business operation across and this gave plentiful chances to Indian organizations to develop. With development, the organisations have to face various challenges, like to develop a competent team which is ready to face the global market. Corporate have to focus on varied issues like the gap between employees in the corporate world and adopt superior HR practices which help the companies to engage their employees and retain them for a longer period of time. With the competition rising and various players coming in, the management has to recognize the various reasons of high attrition rate which may be coz of low job security, lack of career opportunities, poor work environment, poor superior- subordinate relationship, wage differentials, etc.

Liquefaction is associated with a host of related phenomenon. Liquefaction driven settlements in sands is such a phenomenon. Liquefaction susceptible areas are prone to such settlements. The densification of loose sand deposits when acted upon by seismic loading is a well-established fact. However, the matter becomes critical when the sand deposit is saturated and there is no chance of drainage. Due to this phenomenon, excess pore water pressure builds up during the earthquake loading, leading to loss of strength or liquefaction. Settlement occurs after the release of excess pore water pressure, leading to a reconsolidation phenomenon. However, the settlement induced depends upon a lot of factors, like length of the drainage path, gradation, etc. However, in the case of dry sands, the seismic settlement is induced under constant effective vertical stress. In both the cases, for dry as well as saturated, settlement of sand occurs due to cyclic loading. In this paper an attempt is made to calculate the settlement of sands in liquefaction susceptible areas of Guwahati city.
