 Abstract

Asthma, a heterogeneous and chronic respiratory condition characterized by variable expiratory airflow limitation and chronic airway inflammation, affects individuals globally, with a prevalence ranging from 1% to 18%. In India, approximately 2.05% to 3.5% of the population is affected. While asthma is seldom a direct cause of mortality, its impact rises exponentially after middle age, particularly in low- and middle-income groups. Complementary approaches, such as the Buteyko breathing technique, present an alternative for managing asthma symptoms. Originating in Russia in the 1950s, this method involves specific breathing exercises, breath-holding, and a recommended four-week treatment protocol. Studies suggest its efficacy in reducing asthma symptoms and improving walking capacity.

 Abstract

Mustard one of the popular oil seeds is investigated for drying in Batch fluidized beds. Experiments were conducted to assess the kinetics of drying for the variation in the inlet air temperature, the inlet air flow rate and the solids holdup in the fluidized bed. The drying rate was found to increase significantly with increase in temperature and with flow rate of the heating medium, while decrease with increase in solids holdup. The duration of constant rate period was found to be insignificant, considering the total duration of drying. The drying rate was compared with various exponential time decay models and the model parameters were evaluated. The page model was found to match the experimental data very closely with the maximum root mean square error (RMSE) of less the 2.0%. The experimental data were also modeled using Fick's diffusion equation and the effective diffusivity coefficients was found to be within 1.69x10-11 to 3.26x10-11m2/s for the range of experimental data covered in the present study with RMSE less than 4%.

 Abstract

The Reserve Bank of India has implemented several cashless transaction or payment systems from time to time to check corruption, black money and money laundering in the country. Which includes paper based instruments like cheque, demand draft etc. and online payment settlement systems like ECS Credit, RECS, ECS Debit, EFT, NEFT, RTGS etc. After the achievements made by India in the field of information technology after 2000, internet based online transactions have been started by mobile banking, ATM or point of sale machines, UPI etc. The number of paper based transactions was 12067 lakhs in the year 2016-17 which has come down to 6999 lakhs in 2021-22. Similarly, there has also been a decline in the value of paper-based transactions. On the contrary, card payments and retail electronic clearing like ECS Debit, ECS Credit, NEFT, IMPS, NACH, UPI etc. have increased both in terms of percentage and value of total transactions. But at the same time the cash to GDP ratio in the Indian economy has also increased to 14.7%. Along with this, the number of fraud cases in online transactions is also increasing continuously and the amount involved has almost doubled from 2018-19 to 2020-21. The conclusion is that with the expansion of the economy, the number and value of cashless transactions have increased but at the same time the cash-to-GDP ratio has also increased, indicating that India is moving towards a cashless economy along with economic growth but the rate of progress is slow. In order to reduce the increasing number of frauds in online transactions along with the progress towards cashless economy, there is a need to promote strong online payment system and financial literacy among the people; so that the economic loss to the people can be reduced and online transactions can also be made popular.

 Abstract

This research highlights the importance of visual art in Ghana's contemporary fashion design, focusing on its impact on cultural dynamics and creative processes. The region's rich history of artistic traditions, including indigenous Ghanaian art forms, has influenced the growth of fashion design in Ghana. The study areas, including Asante, Fante, Gas, Ga-Adamgbes, Dagombas, and the Ewes, were chosen based on their rich cultural traditions, particularly textiles and clothing. The research aims to understand the relationship between Ghanaian visual art and modern fashion design, as well as the potential for collaboration between dispersed subjects and study topics with stronger correlations. The findings may encourage multi-subject and cross-thematic research in the field of art and design. The idea of combining traditional art forms into contemporary fashion design has gained popularity recently. Many Ghanaian fashion designers have begun including components of Ghanaian visual art in their collections, producing one-of-a-kind clothes that are important to the country's culture. This confluence of fashion and art not only highlights Ghana's traditional heritage but also gives designers and artists a platform to showcase their talents and advance the global fashion industry. This cannot be done in a single day, but it can be done with the dedication and perseverance of key stakeholders, including the government, professors, designers, and trend spotters. Once the desired look has been developed, professors should be required to use it as a training tool for design students so that when they create their own sense of personal style, they are conscious of the Ghanaian aesthetic. It's important to note that these are just potential implementations, and the actual study design may vary depending on the specific research goals, available resources, and the expertise of the researchers involved.

 Abstract

Bianchi type-VIII magnetized cosmological model for perfect fluid distribution is investigated in general relativity. We assume that F23 is the only nonzero component of electromagnetic field tensor Fij. For the complete assessment of the model, we assume that ?_1^1?? which leads to B=A^n where A and B are the metric potentials and n is constant; ?11 is the x-component of shear tensor ?ij and ? is the expansion in the model. The physical and geometrical significances of the model in the presence of magnetic field are discussed.

 Abstract

Nabhi is one of the many concepts in Ayurveda science which are not yet fully clear. In classical texts of Ayurveda, scattered references regarding Nabhi are available like Nabhiis mentioned as a vital spot (Marma),Sira Prabhava and Pranayatana of body. It is also included among the fifteen Koshthanga of body.Nabhi is present in between the Pakvashayaand Amashaya and dominant place of Pitta Dosha. Available literature and commentary on Nabhi interprets it as a Navel but practically it doesn't make a sense to stick with this interpretation. Therefore; it is needed to review classical texts of Ayurveda and contemporary literature to get clear and definite meaning of the word "Nabhi". After thoroughly reading and interpreting the literature available regarding Nabhi; it has considered as an important structure in the body and centre of all the organs of the body and core of physiological process.

 Abstract

"VISION 2020, THE RIGHT TO SIGHT" was a global initiative launched in 1999. Drug delivery to the inner eye is still a challenge in ocular therapy. Current the administration of drugs for the treatment of eye diseases is mainly carried out using solutions, ointments and suspensions. These systems are relatively ineffective as drug delivery systems; often just 1% of the available drug is absorbed by the eye. Ocular iontophoresis is a non-invasive technique which provide a convenient way of administration for many therapeutic indications. This review highlights the basic concept of ocular iontophoresis, iontophoretic devices, trans corneal and trans cleral iontophoresis of various drugs with an emphasis on applied current density and duration of treatment used by investigators.

 Abstract

Weather forecasting is attempted by meteorologists to predict the weather conditions at some future time and the weather conditions that may be expected. The climatic condition parameters are based on the temperature, wind, humidity, rainfall and size of data set. Here, the parameters temperature and Humidity only are considered for experimental analysis. The data is collected from the temperature and humidity sensor called DHT11 sensor, which helps in detecting the temperature and humidity values of a particular region or location. The raspberry pi is used for storing the collected data to the cloud, with the help of Ethernet shield for uploading the data online. The data stored in cloud is generated in the form of CSV, JSON, XML files which is used for further analysis. The correlation analysis of the parameters helps in predicting the future values. The ARIMA model that gives better results for time-series data is used for predicting the values for forthcoming. Our application will also give alert about the weather conditions to the people, and will alert them for the upcoming natural calamities. So, that the people who will be affected by them can take precautionary measures and can be safe with their belongings. This alert system will help in the data analysis which will be useful in many rapidly emerging fields like Healthcare, Weather Conditions, Media, Agriculture, Education, and E-commerce.

 Abstract

Lozenges are palatable unit dosage form administrated in the oral cavity, which is the most common route and easiest way of administering a drug and have a bright future as novel method of delivering drugs for local and systemic effect. Lozenges are solid preparations that contain one or more medicaments, usually in a flavoured, sweetened base, and are intended to dissolve or disintegrate slowly in the mouth. The main objective present study to formulate medicated lozenges by useing isomalt sugar. The physical characteristics of the tablets were relatively stable after half a year storage at different humidities as a result of the low hygroscopicity of isomalt.Isomalt is a sugar substitute with a wide range of potential pharmaceutical applications as a result of its physicochemical properties. The benefits of the medicated lozenges is they increase theretention time of the dosage form in oral cavity which increases bioavailability, reduces gastric irritation and bypasses first pass metabolism. The acceptance for lozenges as a dosage form is high by adults and also more by children.

 Abstract

Abstract: The pedagogical standpoint within this taxonomy highlights the importance of how teachers are taught to teach. It ensures that teacher education programs not only provide aspiring educators with content knowledge but also equip them with the necessary pedagogical skills, classroom management techniques, and strategies for effective teaching. In doing so, taxonomy bridges the gap between theory and practice, ensuring that educators are well-prepared to meet the diverse needs of their students. Teacher Education is being lighted by its practical and pedagogical perspectives. But practicality is next to impossible without its theoretical understanding and that is the basic source of exploring taxonomy in terms of its objectives to visualise it in three domains in Teacher Education 1. Knowledgebase for Teacher Education 2. Human Development for Teacher Education 3. Competency for Teacher Education and qualitative methodology have been used to make it a reality.

 Abstract

Most of the recently developed new chemical entities are poorly water soluble and they create major problems during formulation and development of new dosage form and due to poor solubility and poor bioavailability. The drugs belong to BCS class II and class IV has problem of solubility, to overcome the solubility problem nanotechnology is most useful technique. In this review article the main focus on Nanocrystals and various techniques used for preparation of Nanocrystals. Drug nanocrystals consists pure poorly water soluble drugs without any matrix material which means that it is carrier free drug delivery. Nanocrystals technologies have been introduced as advantageous, universal formulation approaches for the BCS class II and IV drugs. Nanocrystals, with greater surface to volume ratio, can effectively increase both the dissolution rate and saturation solubility of active ingredients The Nanocrystals is suitable drug delivery system for all commonly used routes of administration such as oral, IV, SC, and IM and topical application. Nanocrystals can also be incorporated into the tablets, capsules, fastmelts and lyophilized for sterile product applications. There are no of techniques which are used for production including precipitation, milling, high pressure homogenization and combination methods such as Nano-Edge, SmartCrystal and Precipitation-lyophilization-homogenization (PLH) technology.
