Data sharing about health must now be done safely. Effective remote patient observation is essential because the majority of the population has chronic conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart problems. This enables surgeons to spot health issues as soon as feasible. This is likely due to the use of inexpensive, low-energy, calculational, and memory-intensive sensors. Transmission of health data must be energy efficient, secure, and safeguarded, which is a difficult issue. As part of the general systems incorporating WSN that should assure privacy and dependability, attention should be paid to the disruption and manipulation of healthcare data. Healthcare professionals should have access to the data so they can treat patients appropriately and suitably. The information becomes life-threatening if it is impacted. Furthermore, data should only be accessible to legitimate users. Data from sensor nodes is transferred to the Base Station for analysis in isolated environments, focusing on the end-user's access to data. There are issues to be addressed in this work to be guaranteed that the Base Station receives the accurate result.

ABSTRACT: Currently, approximately 74% of medications are administered orally, but their effectiveness often falls short of expectations. In response to this challenge, the transdermal drug delivery system has emerged to enhance drug delivery characteristics. Transdermal drug delivery involves the administration of drugs through the skin to achieve a systemic impact, distinct from the conventional topical approach. Transdermal drug delivery systems (TDDS) are specialized dosage forms that facilitate drug transport to viable epidermal and/or dermal tissues for local therapeutic effects, with a significant portion of the drug entering the systemic bloodstream. The adhesive component of the transdermal drug delivery system plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of the product. Compared to traditional oral and invasive delivery methods, topical administration of therapeutic agents through transdermal patches offers numerous advantages. Key benefits include limiting hepatic first-pass metabolism, improving therapeutic efficiency, and maintaining a consistent plasma drug level. This article offers an overview of transdermal patches, detailing their types, preparation methods, and physicochemical evaluation techniques.

Social networking platforms (SNPs) have revolutionized online discourse, particularly among teenagers. This study delves into the multifaceted impact of SNPs on youth development, encompassing educational learning, entertainment, health, communication, interaction, and skill development. Employing a survey-based approach with 150 participants in Delhi, we investigated the shift in time allocation towards online activities, potential declines in real-time experiences, and emotional support from familial connections. Findings revealed a near-ubiquitous (97.3%) SNP usage amongst participants, with 86% engaging regularly. Notably, 59.3% acknowledged a detrimental impact on mental health, while 74.7% perceived social media as beneficial. Rigorous hypothesis testing uncovered correlations between SNP use, addiction, and mental health, while interestingly, time spent online showed no significant link to developmental outcomes. Our study underscores the intricate and paradoxical nature of SNPs for youth, presenting both opportunities and challenges for personal growth. We emphasize the need for a balanced and informed approach, advocating for responsible SNP usage and fostering critical digital literacy amongst teenagers. This research contributes valuable insights to the ongoing dialogue on youth and online environments, promoting agency and mindful engagement in the evolving digital landscape.

Globally, seven of the ten leading causes of deaths in 2019 were non communicable diseases or NCDs (ischemic heart disease, stroke, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, neonatal conditions, cancer of the trachea, bronchus and lung, Alzheimer's disease, and other dementias) which are perceived preventable by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. These NCDs accounted for 44% of all deaths or 80% of the top 10. However, in 2019 all NCDs together accounted for 74% of deaths globally. Ischemic heart disease (IHD), responsible for 16% of the world's total deaths making it the world's biggest killer and has the largest increase in deaths in 2000 rising by more than 2 million to 8.9 million deaths in 2019. The 2nd and 3rd leading causes of death are Cerebrovascular Diseases (CVDs) or Stroke and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) with approximately 11% and 6% of total deaths respectively (World Health Organization, 2020). Locally, the top three causes of death in the Philippines (from January to September 2022) were IHD (77,173 cases or 18.5% of the total deaths) CVD (42,890 deaths with 10,3% share) and neoplasms/cancer (42,497 recorded cases with 10.2% share) . Diabetes Mellitus ranked fourth with 26,744 cases with 6.4% share. Hypertensive diseases recorded 23,971 cases with 5.7% share making it the fifth leading cause of death (Philippine Statistics Authority, 2022). According to Dr. Jeanette Lazatin, the Provincial Health Officer of Tarlac, the top 10 leading causes of mortality (general population) in the province of Tarlac in 2022 are: Stroke, heart attack, cancer (all forms), multi-organ failure and Diabetes Mellitus (with unspecified complications), Pneumonia, Heart disease, Renal failure, Covid-19 and Essential (Primary) Hypertension. All identified causes of death can be prevented by lifestyle modification and health promotion. In the pursuit of fostering a healthy learning environment, educational institutions must prioritize not only academic excellence but also the overall wellness of their constituents. This involves creating spaces that encourage physical activity, providing nutritious food options, and implementing mental health support systems. By integrating wellness into the core values and mission of the institution, a culture of health becomes ingrained in the fabric of daily life, influencing the choices and behaviors of individuals within the academic community. Supporting the well-being of employees and staff is equally crucial in maintaining a healthy academic ecosystem. Education itself becomes a powerful tool for health promotion within the academe.

A common ingredient in Indian traditional medicine is Barleria prionitis Lin. (Acanthaceae), sometimes referred to as Vajradanti or Porcupine flower. It is extensively dispersed in tropical Asia, Africa, India, and Sri Lanka. Examining the phytochemical and pharmacognocal characteristics of B. prionitis L. (Acantheceae) leaves and roots was the study's main goal. The leaf has antibacterial qualities; its decoction is used to treat feverish catarrh, the paste is put on boils and swollen glands to help them get better, and it is used as a mouthwash to relieve toothaches. Because of its antiseptic qualities, the plant's extract is used in herbal cosmetics and hair products to support the health of the skin and scalp. It has been discovered that the extract of the root has 100% antifertility action. The current investigation employed many techniques for standardization, including fluorescence analysis, physiochemical, phytochemical, macroscopical, microscopical, and HPTLC approaches, as guided by WHO guidelines. We collected roots that had been shade-dried and fresh leaves for morphological analysis. For microscopic research, free-hand slices were made from recently picked leaves and preserved root components. The extractive values for total ash, acid insoluble ash, water-soluble ash, water soluble, ethanol soluble, and ether soluble were calculated along with the loss and drying process. This review also includes research on various pharmacological actions and traditional uses.

Within the context of Ayurveda, there exists a pattern of individual practices and behavioral choices associated to lowering health risks. Worldwide, the problems related to lifestyle are referred to as lifestyle disorders. Lifestyle disorders such as obesity, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, and hypertension are highly prevalent and are linked to cardiovascular diseases. When it comes to preventing lifestyle diseases, Swasthavritta is crucial. There are many regimens such as Dincharya (daily regimen), Ritu-charya (seasonal regimen), Rasayana therapy (rejuvenation), Sadvritta (rules & regulations of ideal routine), and Aachara Rasayana (code of conduct) that are extremely important in maintaining a healthy lifestyle in addition to Yogic practices. In the prevention of non-communicable diseases, the inclusive utilization of all these modalities has a great effect.
