 Abstract

The paper examines the waves of elder abuse in Nigerian community settings, which has become a major source of concern. The first section of the paper covered the background and conceptual issues surrounding elder abuse. The second section discusses the five commonly recognized subtypes of elder abuse: physical, psychological, financial, and sexual abuse, as well as potential neglect in Nigeria, the causes of which have become a major concern due to the agonizing consequences of elder abuse. The paper advocates for universal and selective control strategies to combat the rising tide of social elder abuse in Nigeria.

 Abstract

Global climate change has had a direct impact on climatic weather patterns. A rise in the urban heat island effect, a decline in urban air quality, restrictions on stormwater management, and improved water run-off quality have all been brought about by increased urbanisation and the encroachment on green belts. At the same time, biodiversity has suffered significantly as a result. The roof of a structure, which is immediately exposed to solar radiation, has been highlighted as the component that has the potential to contribute to significant energy savings and environmental benefits. This study compares the amount of electrical energy needed to maintain specified indoor air temperatures with the amount of cooling load a building would require if different thermal insulation techniques for roofs were used instead of a conventional flat roof.

 Abstract

Agriculture is the most important part of Indian economy and it has always been celebrate as the primary sector of India. Indian agricultural sector in the pre-Independence period can be correctly described as a subsistence occupation also has experienced a phenomenal growth since the mid-twentieth century after the advent of planning. At present it is reached the stage of development and maturity. The next stage of growth of Indian agriculture however, faces a serious challenge in terms of sustainability. India will safely be characterized as associate degree agricultural country despite the recent spurt in producing and services and therefore the declining share of agriculture within the value, since 54.6 percentage of the population is engaged in agriculture and allied activities (Census 2011). Agriculture is that the solely suggests that of living for pretty much simple fraction of the used category in India. The agriculture sector of India has occupied nearly 42.4 per cent of India's geographical region in 2021-2022. So present study is basically a review of role, nature and cropping pattern of India`s agriculture.

 Abstract

The sex ratio is the vital standard for the population and it is register for the socio-economic and physical factor of the area. Socio-economic status is important for estimating sex ratio of a geographical area and it is useful for the local and regional analysis. There is a large variation in the sex ratio in Maharashtra as district wise. The present study has considered 9 tehsil and 8 towns from Parbhani district during 1991 to 2011. The aim of the study is to determine sex ratio with spatial temporal variation of Parbhani district, data is collected from the census report of Government of India from 1991 to 2011and the type of data which has been used is secondary data. The sex ratio of urban area of the district is 924 in 1991, 926 in 2001, and 958 in 2011 per thousand males respectively. A trend indicates the change in the sex ratio from 1901 to 2011and also shows us the decadal variation in the sex ratio. Decadal female sex ratio from 1901 to 2011 shows us gradual increasing and decreasing order. The decadal sex ratio variation of the town and city from 1981 to 2011 also provides the data which shows increasing and decreasing order. There is gradual increase in sex ratio trends in tehsil and towns of Parbhani district from 1981 to 2011 and after wards increasing trends has been recorded. The data of sex ratio has been related with the Maharashtra and India.

 Abstract

Brandimage is the key factor in consumer purchase of a product. Because branded product provides them satisfaction to their mind, status, specified quality and long lasting. The presentstudy analysis the Effect of Brand Image on Consumer Preference with Reference to Youth in Villupuram. Simple random sampling method was used to collect data from a sample size of 50 consumers belonging to different categories. A well-structured questionnaire, developed in Liker scale was administered among the selected consumers. Statistical Packagefor the Social Science (SPSS) was used for conducting various parametric tests such as Frequency analysis, Cross Table analysis and one way Enova test for data analysis andinterpretation. Secondary data was collected from books, journals, and website. With regard to the frequency of buying the branded products, 52.8% of the respondents buy the branded product only when quality is important as against 21.8% who always buys the branded products. With regard to the use of branded and unbranded products, 35.8% of the respondents have an equal proportion of 50:50.

 Abstract

The study of joints with ANSYS can help in fast and accurate simulations to adjoin experimental results. This helps to fine-tune the analytical model and the experimental setup as per previous results. In this work, we will analyze the relationships between steel beams and columns. When this is overloaded, the connections bear the majority of the damage. Four different types of specimens with simple and stiff connections will be used. This investigation will examine how beams and columns are connected by utilizing a flange cleat, Seat angle, Stiffener angle, and Clip angle. An analytical study will be conducted on typical beam-column joints subjected to an eccentric load. The ultimate load-carrying capacity, peak displacement, crack propagation, and energy dissipation capacity will be studied.

 Abstract

A database that encompasses all potential combinations of suspects' external variables is only available to the government's upper echelons, putting more pressure on researchers to collect their own data or compile groups of datasets. To fix this flaw, we suggest a system for acquiring facial and behavioural data in unregulated and real-life scenarios. For the government and private organizations to maintain security, this project would be beneficial. We intend to observe and analyse a fully computerize process of crime registration, investigation, prosecution etc. and to build a central database along with time and location stamps that will serve as a national search engine as well as crime analytics for police and other government agencies. The database that has been created will be utilised to identify suspects from CCTV footage of crimes that has been recorded by a number of systems that are situated near crime scenes and on major thoroughfares. We also make some attempts to electronically share data/information among Police Stations & Police Higher Offices.

Actually norms can be regarded as generalization of the absolute value function of numbers.In this paper we discuss about the characterization of M-matrices and H-matrices,With positive diagonal elements.Also we explain about the different types of norms of matrices and relation between the matrix norms and spectral radius.The analysis of matrix based algorithms often requires use of matrix norms.These algorithms needs a way to quantify the size of matrix.It is our interesting fact to see how this study culverted the properties of matrix norms specialy H-matrix and M-matrix which gives a new concept on linear algebra.In this ellustrative article we demonstrate why one would want to study different type of matrix norms.
