 Abstract

Objective: This study evaluated the marginal fit of CAD/CAM copings milled from Cercon HT blocks. It also evaluated the effect of firing on the marginal fit of zirconia copings. Materials and method: A stainless steel master die was fabricated using CNC-lathe of dimensions with crown length of 6mm, width of 7mm having 1mm rounded shoulder finish line with 50 taper on each side with occlusal diameter of 5mm. It also had a orientation groove of 0.5mm. Impressions were made and were poured in type IV die stone. Each die was scanned with a Dentsply Sirona inEos X5 scanner to produce the copings. The copings were seated on the master die with approx. load of 50N. A stereomicroscope was used for direct viewing of the marginal gap. Image analysis software was used to measure the marginal gaps in micrometers. For zirconia copings the measurements for marginal gap were made before and after firing. Data was analyzed by paired t-test. Results: There was no significant difference between marginal fit of zirconia copings before and after porcelain firing (p<0.05). Conclusion: The marginal fit of the copings before ceramic firing was lesser than marginal fit after ceramic firing, but the difference between the two margins after firing was not significant. Both marginal configurations showed marginal gaps that were within a reported clinically acceptable range of marginal discrepancy.

 Abstract

The NCF-2005, NCFTE-2009 and the New Education Policy-2020 recommend teachers to be reflective practitioners. The realization of the concept of reflective teaching practice helps us to openly accept the new changes that are brought about by the education system and enables us to progress towards the betterment of the education system. A dedicated teacher always finds it enthusiastic and motivated to overcome these difficulties or problems. But it requires a teacher to be knowledgeable with the content of teacher education. Just knowing the content and theories does not entirely equip the teachers for the profession and solve their problem. A practical experience is said to be better than just conceptual understanding. The teacher has to evolve individualized strategies by applying his intellectual skills. Therefore the teacher education program is designed in such a way so that it helps the entrant teachers to equip themselves with the skills of teaching as well as the cognitive strategies required for the profession. Such a teacher who uses cognitive strategies to have an evidence informed-practice, who gathers evidences from efficient feedback system according to the changing demands, is a reflective teacher and such a teaching practice is a reflective teaching practice. Being a reflective teacher not only benefits the classrooms but indirectly the institution as well as the society. To become a reflective teacher the reflective teaching practices, which can be concluded as cognitive strategies at teacher education, need to be acquired by the teachers.

 Abstract

The NREGS typically provide unskilled manual workers with short term employment on public works such as irrigation infrastructure, deforestation, soil conservation and road construction. The rationale for workfare programme rests on some basic considerations. The programmes provide income transfers to poor households during slack agricultural seasons or years. In countries with high unemployment rates, transfer benefits from workfare programmes can prevent poverty from worsening, especially during lean periods. Durable asset programmes may create the potential to generate a second round of employment benefits as necessary infrastructure is developed. The need to evolve a mechanism to supplement existing livelihood sources in rural areas was recognized early during development planning in India. The National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme 2005 referred as MNREGS was enacted on 25th August, 2005 and it came into force on 2nd February 2006. It marked a paradigm shift from the previous wage employment programmes with its rights-based approach that makes the Government legally accountable for providing employment to those who demand it. The scheme aims at Enhancing livelihood security of households in rural areas of the country by providing at least one hundred days of guaranteed wage employment in a financial year to every household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work.

 Abstract

It is high time now to fall for surface water usage instead of going for ground water resources to meet human demand on needs. Considered the main source of surface water, rainwater is deemed more or less as fresh, the cost of collecting rainwater too is very low. Rivers and canals, lakes and wetlands, ponds and dry wells. All are potential catchments to hold direct rainwater and its indirect source, the run-off storm water. The closed tanks also doubly work as settlement tanks to innately clearing the contaminated water to some extent. Pebbles, gravels, sand and charcoal. All available in abundance work great as natural filter for cleaning the rainwater before usage. Hence keeping an eye on the rapidly increasing day-to-day demand for water among fast growing human population, there lies a great opportunity to harvest rainwater to meet a potential scarcity and avoid destruction of the normal groundwater table level. The boon of rainwater harvesting is the unused or extra water which remains after using by the human settlements. It can be sent down to the aquifer to recharge the groundwater level too, so we are going to design an effective plan by collecting of rain water and recharging it, when there is shortage runoff water. Present paper majorly focuses on ROOF TOP RAIN WATER HARVESTING (RRWH) of the study area as E.S COLLEGE OF NURSING campus, Villupuram (near Vikravandi). The result analysis shows that the present RWH system is having the storage 32, 53,000 liters per year. The primary objectives are to fulfill the scarcity of the water in campus and then use it for the domestic purpose in college campus.

 Abstract

Derivative UV spectrophotometry is an analytical technique used in multi component analysis. It has enormous implication commonly in obtaining mutually qualitative and quantitative in order from spectra that are of unresolved bands, with respect to qualitative and quantitative analysis, it uses first or higher derivatives of absorbance in accordance with wavelength. [1] Derivative spectroscopy is the simplest method for an increasing selectivity is derivatization of spectra. This method is used when the sample of drug shows large irrelevant absorption. It involves conversion of normal spectrum to its first, second and higher derivative spectra where its amplitude in the derivative spectrum is proportional to the concentration of the analyte provided that Beers law is obeyed by the fundamental spectrum. This article provides you a clear view of derivative spectroscopy and its advantages and disadvantages in analysis of the sample.

 Abstract

Territoriality, or the attempt to control space or an object, is considered as a fundamental human activity. Life in an organization is fundamentally territorial and it is filled with an arrangement between employees. Most of the research in the workplace focuses either on employees well-being or productivity. Workplace territoriality has become one of the areas, which has been relatively ignored in conflict research. The behaviour, which is miscategorised as dysfunctional or illogical, can be explained by territoriality. This paper aims to aim to explore the territorial behaviours that IT employees engage or witness in their career.

 Abstract

(AI) has often been advertised as the answer to many evolving issues in the industry from greater cost efficiencies to enhanced resilience and passenger experience. Yet, the adoption of AI has been slow. Although there have been pockets of data science innovation from check-in to cleaning robots and chatbots the full potential of intelligent automation has seemed some way off. Being able to expand and automate the collection of data across the airport, and then intelligently analyse and interpret it, is one area where operators can derive massive value from AI capabilities. AI uses powerful algorithms that digest large amounts of data and identify patterns. In an airport, these are used to predict how long processing will take by analysing factors such as queue length, productivity and how many security lanes are open Machine learning, a subset of AI, improves how algorithms recognise patterns on their own. It is the foundation of the continual feedback loop, needed to improve outcomes, based on learning from past events. It is also how airports can increase automation for greater efficiency and mitigate the risks inherent in institutional knowledge in a significantly smaller workforce.

 Abstract

The demand and supply of audit services had progressed in line with the volume of business transactions necessitating an increase in audit liability. Prior studies have shown that sufficient audit documentation as a reflection of professional duty care and skill is essentially important and capable of enhancing credible and quality audit opinions. Consequently, this study examined auditors documentation versus auditors liability. The study adopted an exploratory research approach, using a systematic review of related and useful materials, periodicals, and relevant journals found suitable for the study. The review had shown that the quality and sufficiency of audit documentation is a veritable panacea to support dependable financial statements capable of shrinking and dipping vulnerabilities of auditors liability. The study recommended that while audit documentation is an indispensable driver of quality audit, documentation alone cannot in itself guarantee the quality of the audit, rather the careful process adopted in preparing sufficient and befitting audit documentation is very germane and this enhances audit quality and credible financial statements.

 Abstract

This paper is concerning to find the optimum utilization of solar radiation through standard Double Axis Tracking system and to compare the efficiency of single axis stationary solar panel and standard double axis tracking panel. In this modern world need of electricity is more demand. There are so many renewable source of energy available, solar energy is most important one of them. So we have fabricated the dual axis solar tracking system to utilize the optimum power from the solar radiation. Proposed system was kept under observation for about 30-35 days during the month of Sept-Oct 2015. Data was taken on each day during the observation period. Data of only one day was in research paper due to availability of space in the paper. In the research we have used Computer programming to locate the maximum solar radiation. Power gain percentage is compared with static and continuous double axis tracking system. It was observed that nearly gain of 5% in power generation with continuous dual axis tracking system can be achieved.

 Abstract

A significant obstacle to the uptake of electric vehicles (EVs) is that consumers lack awareness and do not see them as viable options. A survey to analyze consumers' awareness of existing EVs was conducted toward existing EVs in Malaysia. The focus area is in Langkawi Island, where the place aims to be a low carbon Island by 2030. The understanding of the awareness of air pollution is essential to inform government approaches to addressing this issue. Thus, a comprehensive questionnaire survey has conducted with 506 respondents from Malaysian citizens. Data for this study comes from Malaysian citizens' over the period from August to September 2020 and conducting in Malay language.

 Abstract

This paper deals with the mechanical characteristics of cashew nut and cutting the shell in a mechanical way to reduce the time. Presently shearing of shell of cashew nut is done manually. During shearing of cashew nut shell a liquid is coming out which is corrosive which is hazardous and in turn consumes the lot of time because of its oily property. This automatic power operated cashew nut Sheller may be operated by unskilled worker. An automatic power operated cashew nut Sheller is based on the principle of shear with respect to cutters is mounted on sliding guide ways. Now-a-days few automatic cashew nut shelling machines are present but there are some problems such as it cannot be adjusted along the guide as per the size of cashew nut therefore efficiency of machine may get reduced and cost may increase. This research overcomes the problem by manufacturing automatic cashew nut shelling machine using spring adjustment guide with respect to size of cashew nut and in turn improves the efficiency. This paper summarizes a semi-automatic method over manual method.

 Abstract

In the present era, managing the inventory is crucial part in the industries. More man work and time is taken for managing products in the inventory. So this paper deals with a smart inventory management system that diminishes the man work and makes the process done in a smarter way. The IoT technology integrated with open source technology enhances the performance, security of the system. In this system with the help of RFID technology, the products are annexed with RFID tags and scanned by the RFID reader. The Arduino mega with ESP8266-01 gathers the data from the products and updates the data into the web server. This system automatically checks the count of products in the inventory, if the count is less the system automatically orders the products. Some sensors such as DHT11, MQ2 and fire sensors are used for monitoring the environmental parameters in the inventory and takes necessary actions if needed. The GSM module notifies the users with the updated messages regarding the products. The gathered data in the web server is monitored with real time scenarios in the Android app by Internet of things
