Empowering women is crucial to the advancement of society. Socioeconomic factors like money, poverty, education, and skills that lead to better health and work prospects are major determinants of women's status. The ideas of status and power are likewise closely related to these indexes. Women must simultaneously have access to the possibilities and rights granted by the government and society at large, as well as participate in decision-making inside the family and in public life. Status of women's refers to the position of women in society in relation to men. In fact, Inequality actually exists when it comes to women's access to opportunities in the political, economic, social, and cultural spheres as well as to healthcare, education, and financial and material resources. In every part of the world, women are viewed as less valuable than men. Women's inferior status is evident in developing nations not only in the poor pay and lack of recognition for their labour, but also in their restricted access to resources for production and social services like health and education. Therefore, SHG is a creative government notion and scheme that emerges women's growth through improving women's position in developing countries' societies. SHG is an innovative idea and scheme of the govt. through which development of women is emerged. Women who participate in SHGs and other group activities can raise their standard of living. This paper is an attempt to discuss how SHG empowered the rural women in their socio-economic condition.

Due to increase in demand of petroleum products, the prices of petrol and diesel are increasing all over the world. As the available resources of fossil fuel are depleting at faster rate and by 2025 ,the world may face a severe crisis of petroleum fuels, hence an alternative sources of energy to replace fossil fuels are being explored worldwide. Biodiesel is one of the promising biofuels and an alternative for fossil fuels as a primary energy source for machineries and vehicles. It is defined as the mono alkyl ester of vegetables oils or animal fats. Due to its technical feasibility and nonpolluting characteristics, biodiesel is gaining acceptance in steadily growing numbers of countries around the world. Biodiesel is biodegradable, nontoxic, and essentially free of sulfur and aromatics. In this work, experimental investigation has been carried out to produce methyl ester fuels based on non-edible oils like castor oil by using different catalysts like NaOH and H2SO4. The parameters such as temperature, residence time has significant effect on yield of biodiesel and physical properties like Viscosity, Specific gravity, Acid value. In this research the effect of acid and base catalysts was studied on yield of biodiesel and physical properties like viscosity, Specific gravity, Acid value

From ancient times, domestic violence has become one of the most dangerous issues not only in India but throughout the world. Domestic violence is such an abusive activity which basically affects the weaker section of human kind. In patriarchal society as women are considered to be more vulnerable and subservient, they are the worst sufferer of it. Now-a-days they are always facing physical and emotional violence by their family members and intimate partners who have an inclination to keep them under control. The present paper is an attempt to study how A.K. Ramanujan addresses the issue of domestic violence against Indian women in his short story "A Flowering Tree". This paper also strives to highlight how domestic violence easily victimizes the women and reduces their status as an ignored object in our patriarchal society. Apart from it, the paper investigates the theme of alterity through the exploration of transformation and the status of women in Indian society.

The present study has been undertaken to assess the nature, extent, pattern and determinants of migration in Himachal Pradesh. For this purpose, two districts i.e. Lahul & Spiti (tribal region) and Una (non-tribal region) out of twelve districts in Himachal Pradesh have been selected. A total sample comprises 200 households from both tribal and non-tribal regions. Overall, 21.5 percent of persons are migrants, with significant tribal & non-tribal, rural-urban and male-female differentials. Out of total migration in tribal region and rural areas of non-tribal region, proportion of out-migrants is higher as compared to those of in-migrants and return-migrants. Whereas in urban areas of non-tribal region, the percentage of out-migrants is lower than in-migrants. Migration is dominated by person age 15-29 years group as compared to other age groups. Migration among unmarried population has been higher as compared to married one. In both regions and rural-urban areas of non-tribal region, the proportion of migrants with educational level 'secondary and higher secondary' is the highest compared to other educational level groups. Rural to urban migration has been the most dominant migration stream, of the total internal migration, followed by rural to rural. The reason for migration for the migrants in tribal region has been dominated by education attainment, whereas employment has been the main reason for migration in non-tribal region.

Title: Effect of Modified Pursed Lip Breathing in Pneumonatic Children Dev K.1, Naveen2 1.Assistant Professor, Department of Physiotherapy, GJUS&T, Hisar 2.MPT, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar Abstract Pursed lip breathing exercise help in increasing alveolar expansion in restrictive lung diseases. Pneumonia is one of the intrinsic restrictive lung diseases seen in children. So, here in this study restrictive lung diseases has been taken as it commonly affects the children. Pursed lip breathing exercise may help in increasing alveolar pressure & decreasing the secretions, which helps in improving the growth & ADL's in children. The aim of the study is to find the effect of modified pursed lip breathing by blowing into a water-filled bottle through a straw in pneumonatic children. Study design: Quasi experimental design, purposive sampling was done. Sample of 12 (8 males and 4 females) pneumonatic children have been taken from various hospitals in Hisar. All the participants received the intervention in rest time, one time a day, for one week. Intervention was given when the participant's medical conditions was stable & confirmed by the medical doctor. The modified pursed lip breathing exercise (in bottle which is filled with water by straw) was performed four times a minute for ten minutes. All the outcomes (Respiratory rate, Oxygen saturation, Heart rate/Pulse rate) were measured at baseline, then after one week of intervention. The pre and post intervention statistical data compared by using paired T test. Analysis was done for 12 patient, physical characteristics of data of the patient's include respiratory rate, heart rate, oxygen saturation. Male and female statistical data are compared by using the simple T test for different physical characteristics (respiratory rate, heart rate, oxygen saturation), and to test any statistical difference was set at p<0.05 and the valve of confidence was set at 95%. The result of the study indicates that modified PLB blowing into a water filled bottle through a straw decrease RR, HR, improve oxygen saturation. Based on this study we believe that modified pursed lip breathing exercise can be used as an adjective treatment for obstructive and restrictive pulmonary disease to improve oxygen saturation decrease RR, HR. Conclusion: This study concluded that modified pursed lip breathing exercise can be used as an adjacent with other traditional treatment for obstructive and restrictive pulmonary disease.
