 Abstract

Chalcone and their derivatives are so useful nowadays because of their anti-inflammatory activities. Chalcone and their derivatives are so many use in so many drugs and medicine, chalcone and their derivatives have so many properties against many bacterial and microbial diseases therefore grab attention of hygiene department, chalcone are forms by using aldehyde and ketone with use of base as a catalyst and then use as part of a broad search for new and effective antibacterial agents. We have successfully synthesized substituted pyrazoline from chalcone made by the reaction 3-bromo benzaldehyde with acetophenone. Infrared spectroscopy was used to study the structures of these compounds.

 Abstract

Breast cancer is a global health issue and a leading cause of death among women internationally. In India, it accounts for the second most common cancer in women. Breast self-examination (BSE) is a technique which allows an individual to examine breast tissue for any physical changes by self. It is often used as an early detection method for breast cancer. One should perform a BSE at least once every month beginning at age 18. The present study aimed to assess the knowledge of B.Sc. Nursing students on BSE and to evaluate the effectiveness of the structured teaching programme(STP) on BSE.One group pre-test post-test design with pre-experimental approach was adopted. The STP was prepared by the investigator focusing on BSE. A structured knowledge questionnaire was prepared to assess the knowledge and later the same questionnaire was administered post-test. A sample of 50 B.Sc. Nursing students was selected by using non probability convenience sampling. The study findings showed that the level of knowledge of B.Sc. Nursing students considerably increased after the educational programme. In the pre-test, 74% of the subjects had average knowledge level and 26% subjects had poor knowledge level. Where as in the post-test, 18% had good knowledge and 82% of the subjects had average knowledge on BSE.From these findings,it was evident that there was significant increase in the knowledge on BSE among the B.Sc. Nursing students after STP. Therefore, the investigators concluded that educational intervention was effective in gaining the knowledge.

 Abstract

Presenting some graph theoretical planning techniques which have been employed in the design of a GSM (Group Special Mobile) operated by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. Apart from a new variant of the by now classical application of graph colouring to frequency assignment, these techniques deal with the determination of the base station identity code (BSIC), hopping sequence number (HSN), and location area code (LAC). It is shown that GSM radio network planning involves a number of optimization problems and Time Table Scheduling Problems which can be treated by graph theoretical methods.

 Abstract

Bulkers are parked under the silo to collect ash. Currently there are no parking systems incorporated in small scale industries to assist in the process of detecting and aligning the collector lid and attaching the ash pipe or funnel, which leads to heavy unproductivity and waste of time. In these old systems, two to three people are required to align the funnel or pipe to the open lid of the bulker. This paper proposes the incorporation of Deep Learning based approaches to automate the process of detection and alignment. The solution includes using YOLO v7 Tiny, Faster RCNN and Mask RCNN algorithms and their comparison studies on accuracy and error and deploying the best one on field.

 Abstract

Construction had the highest number of fatal work accidents of any industry, due to the high number of accidents each year. There are many solutions to ensure worker safety and reduce accidents, one of which is to ensure the proper use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE kit) as defined in safety regulations. However, monitoring the use of personal protective equipment, which is largely based on manual checks, is time-consuming and inefficient. The Several attempts were made. The resulting recognition accuracy on the 12 main armors is up to 98%, while the accuracy of face detection and recognition is 96%. The obtained results showed the ability to identify recognize faces and all the equipment very accurately and remember them in real time. The study uses convolutional neural network (CNN) models developed by applying transfer learning to the basic version of YOLOv7 and The Faster RCNN deep learning. Considering the presence the model predicts fulfillment of requirements in 12 categories, such as jacket, jacket, mask, no mask, shoes, no shoes, helmet, no helmet, Safety Belt, No Safety Belt, No front Safety Belt, Front Safety Belt.

 Abstract

In this study, concrete was prepared by complete replacement of sand and partial replacement of cement by Fly-Ash using different admixtures like NaOH- Na2SiO3 solution, CaO- Na2SiO3 solution, CaO- Na2SiO3 gel and Micro Silica in order to evaluate the effects of these admixtures on properties of HVFA concrete. Solutions and Gel were prepared by mixing both materials in different ratios. It was noted down in mix proportions. The study included determination of compressive strength and flexural strength with (1) Variation in NaOH- Na2SiO3 solution (2) Variation in CaO- Na2SiO3 solution (3) Variation in CaO- Na2SiO3 gel (4) Variation Micro Silica percentages (5) Combination of above admixtures which gave better results. Durability tests like abrasion test and RCPT test were also conducted on HVFA concrete specimens. Test results indicated a decrease in compressive as well as flexural strength when admixture percentage increased. Use of NaOH- Na2SiO3 solution is not even useful in lower percentages. It shows lower compressive and flexural strength than strength of concrete when made without use of any admixture. It was also found out that CaO- Na2SiO3 solution imparted more compressive as well as flexural strength than CaO- Na2SiO3 gel. But increase in Na2SiO3 shows decreased compressive as well as flexural strength. However Micro Silica showed better result than other admixtures and combination of CaO- Na2SiO3 solution and Micro Silica gave higher compressive as well as flexural strength than individual admixture. Graphs showing the above variations are also plotted under this thesis document. After completion of the project it was concluded that HVFA concrete has adequate compressive and flexural strength. Apart from this the cost per cubic meter of HVFA concrete is comparable to that of the conventional concrete as cement was also partially replaced by Fly-Ash. So it can be used for the construction of non-reinforced elements. Further research needed for checking suitability of HVFA concrete for reinforced elements and paver material.

 Abstract

Computer networks can be utilised efficiently for processing corporate data, teaching and learning, teamwork. The advancement of Internet technology has led to a variety of useful services being offered to users. We do, however, also face a number of security threats. An unauthorised infiltration into a computer in your company or an address in your designated domain is referred to as a network intrusion. There are several security breaches affecting computer and network systems today. These infractions may be the consequence of system compromise efforts by unauthorised external attackers or by inside privileged users abusing their power. No network is impermeable, and no firewall is error-proof. Attackers often create new exploits and attack methods intended to get past your defences. Network-borne information is more useful. An increasingly popular distribution method for attackers is the WWW. Attacks can now be launched with ease. Such attacks can occasionally cause a significant increase in network traffic. The five categories of network traffic are normal, denial of service assaults, user to root attacks, and probe (Probing attacks). As a result, the challenge of attacks classification can be thought of as involving intrusion identification. Accuracy of intrusion detection can be significantly increased by enhancing classifier performance in accurately recognising malicious traffic. To train and develop the model that can distinguish between attack-type network traffic and regular type network traffic, several deep learning techniques are used. To determine the optimum model for recognising network intrusion detection, the test accuracy of this model is compared with that of other machine learning techniques

 Abstract

Hydrogen-bonded Organic frameworks (HOFs) are new and versatile class of porous materials following the porous crystals (PCs), metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), covalent organic frameworks (COFs), etc. HOFs rely on the assembly of simple organic building blocks. Defining the HOF assembly with new organic building blocks or modules is of high interest, in order to expand this robust family. Hence, we aim to work on newly derived imine based organic modules to form HOF and their detailed characterization to decide its applicability.

 Abstract

Education is one of the most powerful instruments of social, economic and cultural transformation necessary for the realization of national goals. Education is seen as the backbone of development in any nation. It improves the quality of life of a society through refinement of its potentials. It cultivates social, moral and spiritual values among people. It becomes essential for the economic and cultural development of a country. The development of a nation is accomplished by educational advancement. Today, there is an increasing faith in the casual relationship between education and economic development especially in a developing country like India. The educational system of any country must produce young men and women of character and ability who are committed to national service and development. Then only education will be able to play its vital role in promoting national progress.

 Abstract

Techniques like selective harmonic reduction are proposed in this project's proposal. The harmonic content of a single phase cascaded multilevel inverter was reduced using SHE. For inverters with five to eleven levels of levels, the firing instants for the electronic switches are computed off-line. Four independent voltage sources with voltage output levels in a certain ratio make up the novel module structure proposed in this concept. In recent years, multilevel inverters have been a hot topic because of their ability to handle high-power applications. This paper suggests. To minimise harmonic content in a single-phase cascaded multilevel inverter, this study uses the selective harmonic elimination approach . As output levels grow, so does the number of switching components required to perform the switch. There is a risk of power loss and a decrease in overall system efficiency due to the increased number of switches. Most notable is that the module may be utilised as a submultiple level structure and expanded for any number of levels with minimum increase in switching components (pho). MLI's superior power quality, decreased total harmonic distortion (THD), lower voltage stress across the switches, improved electromagnetic compatibility, and fewer switching losses are attracting a lot of attention.
