 Abstract

Unique to the rural landscape and cultural life of Kerala, Coconut plays Avery significant role in the economy of the state. Evidently with about 46% of total production, "Kerala" is the largest coconut producing state in India. The name for the state Kerala is believed to be given after the coconut tree with "Kera" meaning coconut tree and "Alam" meaning land, thus giving the meaning as "land of coconut trees". The major change in coconut production occurred in 1970s. Decrease in the production of paddy was then shifted for plantation crops like coconut.

 Abstract

Goal of the study: The purpose of this research report is to assess employees' perceptions of career planning within their organizations. The key research question guiding this study is: "Do employees believe that career planning is actively prioritized by the HR department in their organization?"* This question serves as the foundation for transforming qualitative insights into a statistical analysis of employee views on the effectiveness and importance of career planning in their workplace. Key finding: This research's key finding is that HR departments in private banks in Jodhpur city do not place significant emphasis on career planning for their employees. Within the organisational structure, career planning is seen with disinterest, suggesting that it is a generally disregarded task. This suggests a lack of strategic attention to personnel development and career advancement. Research Methodology: The study focuses on private banks in Jodhpur city, with a sample size of 142 employees. A combination of Likert scale statements was employed to gather data, and a one-sample Wilcoxon test was applied to derive meaningful results from the raw data. The information was analyzed and synthesized using SPSS software, which facilitated the statistical processing and interpretation of the responses. Applicability: The study is extremely pertinent to today's changing workplace, as economics is not the only factor influencing success. Career planning has become essential due to shifting organisational dynamics. To comply with current management concepts and guarantee employee development and long-term organisational progress, career planning must be promoted and integrated into the modern workplace. Limitations of the study: Both employers and workers participate in the career planning process. However, this study is restricted to looking at the viewpoint of the employees, with a particular emphasis on the actions that employers have taken. The research sample consists of 142 respondents from a narrow geographical area--Jodhpur city--and is confined to employees working in private banks. As a result, the findings may not be generalisable to other industries or regions, and further research with a larger sample size and broader scope would be beneficial to draw more comprehensive conclusions

 Abstract

Cloud computing began in the 1950s with mainframe computers accessed by dumb terminals. Still, it expanded dramatically in the early 2000s with the introduction of major providers such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure. This transformation signalled a shift from traditional on-premises infrastructure to scalable, on-demand services, with an initial concentration on storage and computing power. The rise of cloud computing has transformed the IT industry, allowing firms to access flexible resources without significant hardware investments, and democratising technology for both startups and large organisations. Cloud computing is becoming an essential part of the digital landscape, enabling innovation in a variety of industries and supporting a diverse range of applications, from mobile apps to advanced analytics. Its reliance on technologies like virtualization and grid computing allows users to access shared resources over the internet, making it an essential component of modern IT strategies aiming at cost reduction and addressing increasing computational needs.

 Abstract

: Solunar is a 16-array infrared sensor designed for line-following robots, a subset of mobile robotics. The existing sensors for line-following robots don't have efficient detection for intricate tracks. The traditional line-following sensors exhibit limitations in terms of accuracy, response time, or adaptability to varying lighting conditions, and Solunar addresses these issues by using QRE1113GR analog output optical sensors. The linear or matrix configuration of a limited number of sensors makes it inefficient to identify specific parts of the track. Solunar aims to fill this gap by designing a sensor that detects intricate turns. It also aims to provide open-source compatibility and library file integration for easy use. Conducting a literature survey to find the gaps in existing methodologies creating a workflow from developing a schematic to fabricating the printed circuit board and integrating a code that is compatible with most of the controller boards like Arduino and ESP is the proposed methodology. Line-following robots have served as a valuable platform for educational and research purposes, providing a tangible means to explore fundamental concepts in control systems, sensor technology, and algorithm development, and this sensor plays a hand in the educational aspect by catering a means to develop algorithms for better line-following. Easy EDA, Git, GitHub (for version control), and Arduino IDE are utilized to make this project. The library file is written in C++ language and requires knowledge of object-oriented programming.

 Abstract

This Project is all about creating a smart system that can predict diseases like dengue, malaria, and typhoid by analysing symptoms reported by patients. From a predetermined list of symptoms and the associated diagnoses, it employs three distinct machine learning algorithms--Random Forest, Decision Tree, and Support Vector Machine to identify diseases. Each algorithm has gone through extensive training and testing to ensure its accurate and reliable in making predictions. The Random Forest algorithm exhibits superior accuracy in disease prediction when compared to both the Decision Tree and Support Vector Machine models. It reliably produces consistent results by effectively recognizing the appropriate disease based on the symptoms provided by the user, thereby establishing itself as the most efficient model within our framework.

 Abstract

S??khya is the oldest system of philosophy in Indian tradition. The ancientness of s??khya is proved by the fact that some Upani?ads of our great Vedas such as Kathopani?ad, Mu?dakopani?ad, ?vet??vataropani?ad etc carry the witness of the existence of such Indian philosophical system. The seeds of s??khya are already sowed in different Upani?ads. This leads me to engage myself to search and explain the seeds of s??khya laid in the ?vet??vataropani?ad. Whenever we speak of the principal Upani?ad-s we tend to speak from advaita corner first because of its well circulation and popularity. But from our analysis of verses and terms of the ?vet??vataropani?ad we, no doubt, may conclude that so many important and significant germs of s??khya (in the sense of s??khya-yoga) which can be explained parallelly from s??khya point of view instead of ved?nta are present there. We may also reach into the conclusion that the ?vet??vataropani?ad is undoubtedly one of the important germ carriers of s??khya.

 Abstract

Biosurfactants can be produced by microorganisms. They contain both hydrophilic and hydrophobic domains. They act as emulsifying agent by solubilizing hydrophobic substrates. To improve oil recovery biosurfactant production may be an economic approach. This research aims to study active product extraction procedures, analytical terminologies used in this field and the application of biosurfactants. Petroleum-contaminated soil was used as a source of bacterial culture and MSM (Mineral Salt Medium) was used as a nutritious medium. The bacterial characterization test confirms that the isolated strain of bacteria was Bacillus pasteurii. Extracellular production of biosurfactants can be confirmed by using various screening methods. Various parameters of biosurfactants such as pH, temperature, carbon source and nitrogen source were optimized to obtain a higher yield of biosurfactant. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) was performed to identify the particular type of biosurfactant. Rhamnolipid type of biosurfactant was produced and it is used for biosurfactant-mediated synthesis of silver nanoparticles.

 Abstract

Manipur is conducive for growing various crops due to its diverse soil and agro-climatic features, which support a wide range of tropical and sub-tropical horticulture crops. The current research has sought to look at the growth patterns and variations in the distribution of horticultural crops in the region of Manipur, particularly on crops such as fruits, vegetables, and spices. This paper evaluates the developed performance of horticultural crops in terms of area cultivated, level of production, growth performance, and crop production from 2012 to 2021. The study uses descriptive statistics analysis to evaluate the causes of the observed regional differences. This data also shows that some areas of the district have very high production of fruits while others have low production, and this demonstrates the potential for such interventions to enhance agricultural productivity. The findings show that in terms of fruit crop production, Tamenglong and Senapati stand out, while Imphal West and Bishnupur districts are leading in vegetable crop production. The study calls for specific measures to be put in place in these underperforming areas to increase productivity, including the use of innovative climate-resilient agriculture practices and improved and targeted government intervention strategies.

 Abstract

Effective waste management is crucial for the sustainability of the environment, where rapid urbanization has led to increasing waste generation and inadequate recycling practices. Traditional systems often fall short due to inefficiencies and lack of public engagement. This research introduces a user-friendly waste sorting gadget designed specifically for Indian urban contexts, which categorizes waste into recyclable, non-recyclable, and compostable materials. The gadget utilizes a machine learning-based system powered by a deep learning convolutional neural network (CNN). Users can place their waste items into the device, which scans and analyzes them using advanced image recognition technology. The design of the gadget emphasizes user-friendliness, featuring an intuitive interface with clear visual indicators. When waste is sorted, users receive immediate feedback on whether the item was categorized correctly. This real-time interaction not only enhances the sorting experience but also educates users on proper waste disposal practices, fostering a greater sense of responsibility. By addressing specific waste management challenges, this innovative gadget aims to enhance recycling rates, reduce landfill waste, and promote greater environmental responsibility among citizens. The integration of technology into waste sorting can significantly contribute to a more sustainable urban environment in India, encouraging community engagement and effective waste management solutions.

An entrepreneur is someone who has an entrepreneurial quality with an eye on prospects and an uncanny vision, someone who is prepared to take risks because of the adventurous skill within, and the same is true for women. A woman entrepreneur is an adult who owns and operates a business, particularly one that is commercial, frequently at personal financial risk. Due to their caste, members of scheduled castes have historically faced discrimination and inequitable treatment in society. Scheduled caste women entrepreneur have a number of challenges from the outset till the business is operating. The objective of the current research is to study the scheduled caste women entrepreneur and challenges faced by them in Chirang District, Assam. The researcher of this study analysed various research and articles in order to identify the concerns; it is based on primary and secondary data. The results of this study show that major obstacles to the growth of women's entrepreneurship include the inability to balance family and career, socio-cultural barriers, a male-dominated society, illiteracy or low levels of education, a lack of financial assistance, a lack of technical expertise, marketing and entrepreneurial skills, a lack of self-confidence, and mobility restrictions. There have been some recommendations made to address these issues. Also with the increase in the number of women getting educated, there is considerable awareness among women to be self-employed and gradually the role of women is changing in the society.
