Wetlands are of great importance to man and nature as they purify water, reduce flood, store water, prevent soil erosion, and support varied biodiversities. This wetland is a freshwater lake and is rich in diversity. Lake Anasagar is a threatened water body of Ajmer city of Rajasthan. The present paper is an attempt to study the impact of human-induced activities on land use land cover change in and around Anasagar wetland. Land use and land cover mapping have been done with the help of satellite imagery for the years 2008 and 2013. The study tries to evaluate the changing pattern of land use land cover by analysing the changing pattern of agriculture development, vegetation cover, swampy land and build-up area. Images were analysed for aggradations changes, meanders and water bodies alterations. Then the images were classified with the supervised classification technique to calculate the area for different land use classes. The result shows, there was an increase in build-up land whereas vegetation cover, shows a decreasing trend in recent years. Reference of topographical sheets has been used to corroborate the findings with ground realities. A reconnaissance survey of the field was carried out for the accuracy assessment and finally the study have been done.

The global problem of the present day is the Environment pollution, which is a serious threat to the existence and survival of human race. Man in making variety of efforts for progress and development causes much damage to forests, wild life, land surface, water resources and to atmosphere, which are part and parcel of the environment. Serious problem is that of environmental pollution which every citizen faces either in the form of automobile pollution or the obnoxious smells emanating from drains near his house or the irritating sounds and noises from his locality or the dirty drinking water from his pipes. Man's activities through urbanization, industrialization, mining, and exploration are at the forefront of global environmental pollution. Life support system inbuilt in nature are being strained and vanished. For example, depletion of ozone layer is leading to gradual warming up of the environment due to built up of carbon dioxide and other gases. Environmental pollution is not a new phenomenon, yet it remains the world's greatest problem facing humanity, and the leading environmental causes of morbidity and mortality. Both developed and developing nations share this burden together, though awareness and stricter laws in developed countries have contributed to a larger extent in protecting their environment. Despite the global attention towards pollution, the impact is still being felt due to its severe long-term consequences. This Artivcle examines the types of pollution-air, water, and soil; the causes and effects of pollution; and proffers solutions in combating pollution for sustainable environment and health.

There are numerous courier services available locally or worldwide. However, the most services only applicable at their respective company's whereby the pricing information is often hidden and customers usually need to call the company or visit their respective website or application to get quote, then make a price comparison with other company's courier services quotes for them to get their preferable quotation. This could be very time consuming mainly due to the inflexibility services whilst with certain terms and conditions apply only customers able to enjoy the door-to-door delivery service. Hence, the main objective of this project is to integrate a few of the courier services price and information in one stop whilst providing a low-cost peer-to-peer service to assist customer in delivering their parcel. The application will be able to generate the quotes of all the selected courier services in one application to ease the customer and enable a price comparison for each of the selected courier services company. The usability study was conducted and analysis of respondents' feedbacks shows positive interest of having this application and would opt to use the low-cost peer-to-peer services. With Parcel2Go Mobile Application, the problem of inconveniency of the customer and the inflexibility of services that have in the current courier services will be solved as this application will ease the people who wants to deliver their parcels.

The toxicant cadmium chloride showed all the features of heavy metal toxicity on a blue-green alga, where the metal showed dual behavior like stimulation and good recovery at sub-lethal concentration and inhibition followed by no recovery at higher lethal concentrations. The present piece of work aims at understanding the impact of cadmium chloride on the activities of two important enzymes like nitrate reductase and nitrogenase of a blue-green alga in vivo. The Nitrate reductase activity of the control set remained static within the standard deviation range with the increase in exposure period. At sub-lethal conc.-X, a maximum of 27.08% increase in the enzyme activity was marked on 15th day of exposure and when the exposed alga was transferred to toxicant free medium 18.37% increase was noted on 15th day of recovery. At higher lethal concentrations of cadmium chloride significant depletion in the enzyme activity was observed showing inhibitory action of the toxicant cadmium chloride. The nitrogenase activity of the control set remained static within the standard deviation range with the increase in exposure period. At sub-lethal conc.-X, a maximum of 5.05% decrease in the enzyme activity was marked on 15th day of exposure and when the exposed alga was transferred to toxicant free medium 7.87% decrease was noted on 15th day of recovery. At higher concentration, a maximum of 90.8% decrease in enzyme activity was marked on 9th day of exposure and with the increase in exposure period 100% decrease was noted and when the exposed alga was transferred to toxicant free medium. 100% decrease in the enzyme activity was noted on 15th day of recovery indicating no recovery was noted. The toxicant, Cadmium chloride significantly affected both the enzymes and the regulatory action of both the enzymes was lost in the process and the exposed alga could not resist the heavy metal toxicant and ultimately died at higher concentrations.

Face recognition applications can benefit from the cloud computing as they become widely available and easy to acquire today. There are numerous applications of face recognition in terms of security, assistance, guidance and so on. By performing the face recognition on cloud, we can greatly reduce the processing time and clients will not have to store the big data for the image verification on their local machine (cell phones, pc's etc). Cloud computing increases the processing power and storage with very less cost comparing to the cost of acquiring an equally strong server machine. In this research the plan is to enhance the user experience of augmented display wearing google glass, and for doing that, this system is being proposed in which a person wearing google glass will send an image of a person to cloud server powered by Hadoop (open-source software for reliable, scalable, distributed computing) cloud server will recognize the face from the database already present on server and then response to client device (google glass). Then google glass will display the face details in a form of augmented display to the person wearing them. By moving the face recognition process on cloud, the device will require less processing power, and by having the database on cloud server, multiple clients will no longer require to maintain their local database.

This article clarifies two important elements in the field of international taxation: Country-by-Country (CBC) reporting and the General Anti-Avoidance Rule (GAAR). Multinational corporations (MNEs) are required to disclose detailed financial data on a per-country basis under CBC reporting, a crucial element of the OECD's BEPS strategy. GAAR, on the other hand, prevents tax avoidance by prohibiting fabricated transactions that are pursued purely for tax benefits. This article explains the dynamic relationship between CBC reporting and GAAR. It illustrates how tax authorities use CBC data to identify risks of tax evasion and implement GAAR controls as necessary. Additionally, it highlights variations in thresholds and interpretations around the globe as it navigates the landscape of jurisdictional inequalities in adopting GAAR and CBC reporting. This article emphasizes the importance of compliance with GAAR and CBC reporting as well as the consequences of non-compliance. This brief work gives you the knowledge you need to navigate the complex world of international taxation, assuring compliance with changing laws, whether you're a taxpayer or a tax expert.
