 Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) focuses on creating intelligent modeling that helps process information, solve problems and make decisions. Artificial intelligence has recently played an important role in several fields of pharmaceuticals such as drug discovery, drug development, polypharmacology, hospital pharmacy, etc. When deep neural networks (DNN) or recurrent neural networks (RNN) are used. Currently, several drug development applications have been analyzed and supported technological performance in quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) or Quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR). In addition, de novo design significantly contributes to the invention of newer drug molecules with desired/optimal properties. This review article discusses the use of artificial intelligence in pharmacy, particularly in drug discovery, drug product development, polypharmacology and hospital pharmacy.

 Abstract

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative condition characterized by the selective impairment and loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra. The disease's progression is influenced by various genetic factors, many of which remain functionally uncharacterized. These genetic functions primarily affect specific subcellular compartments such as mitochondria, lysosomes, and synapses. Additionally, ophthalmological issues are commonly observed in individuals with PD. This study aimed to uncover previously unrecognized eye disorders in PD patients. Remarkably, nearly 92% of participants exhibited significant ophthalmological issues. Many participants revealed previously undetected eye conditions that pose risks to vision and significantly impact daily activities. Therefore, regular ophthalmological evaluations are recommended for patients with PD.

 Abstract

Systems for electronic voting (or "e-voting") have drawn interest as a potential way to increase the effectiveness and accessibility of the voting process. However, issues with trust, transparency, and security have prevented their mainstream acceptance. This study uses blockchain technology to provide a novel method of electronic voting that aims to allay these worries. The suggested method takes advantage of the immutable, decentralized characteristics of blockchain to increase voting process security, transparency, and integrity. The suggested e-voting system provides a reliable and impenetrable platform for holding elections by doing away with the requirement for a centralized authority and incorporating cryptographic mechanisms. The system's design, essential parts, and security features are all in-depthly examined in this study. The experimental results show that the suggested blockchain-based electronic voting system is both practical and efficient."

 Abstract

India has followed global trade trends, with some unique features. Over the past two decades, the share of agricultural exports in India's total merchandise exports has steadily declined from their dominant position before independence. However, with self-sufficiency in food grains and key agricultural commodities, which once formed a large part of the import bill, agricultural imports have significantly decreased. The ratio of agricultural import costs to export earnings has improved, resulting in a more favorable trade balance. The analysis focuses on three key objectives: studying India's agricultural export performance under the WTO regime, assessing the competitiveness of India's top agricultural exports, and suggesting policy measures to boost agricultural exports. The discussion reviews recent global trends in agricultural trade and India's performance in this sector, shaping future strategies to enhance agricultural exports in a more competitive global economy.

 Abstract

Manju Kapur, a prolific writer presents the society in various dimensions. The various dimensions include various ups and downs faced by the women in the society. These women range from lower class of the society to upper class. They face various criticism not only in the outside world but also in the family house. Though women belong to various classes but all face the same problems in the society. A married woman is not only bound to the barriers of the family but she has to face the challenge in the and around the society. Women tend to lose their identity, their recognition, their self-respect and lose themselves completely. At last, by facing all these, the woman come to a point where they lose their temper and try to come of it and fight back irrespective of the gender and search for themselves in the patriarchal dominated society. Finally, like how India emerged out from the British rule the same way women also emerge out from the domination and subjugation to abuse.

 Abstract

This paper presents a structured design approach for a Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) and Series Active Power Filter to enhance power quality by mitigating current and voltage harmonics. Using a Proportional-Integral (PI) controller for DC-link voltage regulation and instantaneous reactive power theory for reference current extraction, the system employs hysteresis current control for voltage source inverter (VSI) switching. The series-shunt configuration addresses harmonic disturbances, improving voltage stability at the load side. MATLAB/Simulink simulations demonstrate SAPF effectiveness under balanced and unbalanced non-linear loads, significantly reducing total harmonic distortion (THD) and improving overall power quality.

 Abstract

Due to factors including shared strategic objectives, historical ties, and geographic proximity, India and Myanmar's relationship has changed over time. The main elements influencing Indo-Myanmar ties are examined in this paper, along with their political dynamics, economic collaboration, and security considerations. In the past, the relationship has fluctuated between times of harmony and conflict due to changes in India's foreign policy objectives and the domestic political climate in Myanmar. India considers Myanmar to be an essential partner in its "Act East" program, which seeks to improve trade routes and promote regional connectivity due to Myanmar's important location as a bridge connecting South and Southeast Asia. This analysis looks at the ways that India and Myanmar have strengthened their economic relations by working together on infrastructure projects, especially in border areas. Because they face similar difficulties in preserving regional peace, security cooperation--in particular, counterinsurgency and border management--remains a pillar of their bilateral relationship. Additionally, the paper explores how important international actors--particularly China--affect relations between India and Myanmar. India finds it difficult to strike a balance between its strategic interests and Myanmar's growing reliance on Chinese investments. The prospects for future cooperation between India and Myanmar are examined in this analysis's conclusion, with an emphasis on opportunities for both countries' economies to flourish, their strategic alignment, and the advancement of regional stability.

 Abstract

Abstract: Mahatma Gandhiji advocated for Hindi as the national language, considering it as a unifying force for India. He believed that expressing oneself in Hindi fostered a sense of patriotism and was the ideal means of communication for Indians. Gandhi saw Hindi as a bridge across India's vast diversity, encouraging all citizens to learn it as a mark of pride in their homeland. His vision sought to unify the country's regional identities into a cohesive national identity. The Constitution supports this aim, promoting use of Hindi across India to honour Gandhi's vision of a unified nation bound by a common language.

 Abstract

The objective of this paper is to estimate the parameters of New Weighted Exponential distribution with shape parameter(?) and scale parameter(?). In this heuristic algorithm, the least squares method is used to Estimates the parameters of New Weighted Exponential Distribution. We also computed Average Estimate (AE), Variance (VAR), Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Square Error (MSE), Relative Error (RE) and Relative Absolute Bias (RAB) for both the parameters under grouped sample based on 1000 simulations to assess the performance of the estimators.

 Abstract

This study explores the development and optimization of machine learning models for the early detection of diabetes. Utilizing a comprehensive dataset of health indicators, including glucose levels, BMI, age, and other risk factors, we implemented various predictive models such as Random Forest, Logistic Regression, SVM, and XGBoost. Data preprocessing involved missing value imputation, feature encoding, and normalization to ensure model robustness. The models were evaluated using key performance metrics, including Accuracy, ROC-AUC, and F1 Score. To enhance model performance, we employed hyperparameter optimization techniques like RandomizedSearchCV and calibration methods, resulting in notable improvements in discriminatory power, particularly for Random Forest and XGBoost. The optimized models demonstrated significant potential for integration into clinical settings, offering a practical tool for early diagnosis and improved patient management. Future work will focus on expanding the dataset and exploring advanced ensemble techniques to further refine the predictive accuracy.

 Abstract

The study sought to evaluate the effect of strategic management practices on the academic performance of private schools in Kiambu County, Kenya. The study examined the effects of strategic planning, strategic leadership, strategic organization structure, and strategic resource allocation on academic performance of private secondary schools in Kiambu county. The study was guided by competence-based management theory, system theory of management, and resource-based theories. Descriptive research design was used in the study. The target population consisted of 78 private secondary schools in Kiambu County. A sample of 39 private secondary schools was derived using Cochran's sample size formula. The schools were selected using stratified and simple random sampling methods. 195 respondents were selected from the sampled schools. This included 39 respondents in the management level, 78 teachers, and 78 support staff. The data was collected using the questionnaire with both open and closed-ended questions. The questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability through a pilot study, strategic management experts, and Cronbach Alpha coefficient. The quantitative data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 26, descriptive statistical methods, inferential statistics such as Pearson correlation coefficient, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. The qualitative data was analyzed using content analysis method. Quantitative data was presented using tables, while qualitative data using narrations. The researcher observed integrity and transparency when collecting the data, interpreting and reporting the findings by upholding privacy, safety, moral and ethical practices. The study found that strategic management practices played a vital role in boosting the academic performance of private secondary schools in Kiambu County. There are significant correlations among strategic planning, leadership, organizational structure, and resource allocation. In conclusion, the study advocates for a comprehensive strategy that integrates these elements to optimize educational outcomes. It is recommended that private secondary schools in Kiambu County adopt this holistic approach to improve academic performance and ensure long-term educational success. Further studies are recommended to be conducted to identify the long-term impact of strategic management on educational institutions
