The environment of our planet is degrading at an alarming rate because of non-sustainable urbanization, industrialization and agriculture. Unsustainable trends in relation to climate change and energy use, threats to public health, poverty and social exclusion, demographic pressure, management of natural resources, biodiversity loss, land use and transport still persist and new challenges are arising. Since these negative trends bring about a sense of urgency, short term action is required, whilst maintaining a longer term perspective. The main challenge is to gradually change our current unsustainable consumption and production patterns and also our approach to policy-making. This article and study covers the broad area including potential of rhizospheric microorganisms in the sustainable plant development in anthropogenic polluted soils, bioremediation of pesticides from soil and waste water, toxic metals from soil, biological treatment of pulp and paper industry wastewater, sustainable solutions for agro processing waste management, solid waste management on climate change and human health, environmental impact of dyes and its remediation. The article tries to look upon a unique treatment of the subject, linking various protection strategies for sustainable development, describing the inter-relationships between the laboratory and field eco-toxicologist, the biotechnology consultant, environmental engineers and different international environmental regulatory and protection agencies. The world economies have unified in their efforts to achieve the goals of sustainable development. This is in sheer contrast to the earlier approaches where governments pursued goals for the growth and development of their respective economies. The struggle for growth and excellence has created imbalance in the economic development among countries, depleted some of the natural resources and has thus altered the ecological balance. The impact of this is being experienced in the form of global warming and climate change. Since this threatens the very existence of human life on earth, a course of action that would ensure a safe environment for future generations has become the need of the hour. Sustainable development is a term coined to ensure that development takes place in such a way that natural resources are sustained and passed on to the future generations unimpaired. This paper makes an attempt to understand the challenges encountered by India in achieving Sustainable development goals and offers suggestions to overcome them.

Arthritis is viewed as a disease caused as a result of inflamed joints. Arthritis is the most familiar element of disability in the world. Now a days in India there are six common Arthritis. Those are Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Gout Arthritis, Juvenile Arthritis, Ankylosing, Spondylitis, Psoriatic Arthritis. Though X-ray scans alone are insufficient to detect the type of arthritis easily, Image processing can improve the diagnosis. Therefore, there is a need for effective model development to identify knee arthritis. The previous study neglects identify both Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Gout Arthritis together. In this paper we develop image processing models for identification of arthritis types like Osteoarthritis. Because those are frequently occurred arthritis types. In this study, we have done image preprocessing(image size normalization 224x224,image denoising and RGB to Gray scale conversion), image segmentation (fuzzy c means Segmentation),image feature extraction GLCM classification of arthritis(SVM) techniques were conducted

Kashmir, the northern most region of India though surrounded by a ring of mountain ramparts is endowed with a distinctive geographical advantage situated as it has been amidst the great civilizations of the ancient and medieval world with which it maintained contacts through a number of passes leading through its natural defenses. With China toward its east, Central Asia towards the north, Afghanistan and Iran towards northwest and Indian sub-continent towards its south and north, Kashmir became the meeting ground of the great civilizations - Chinese, Central Asian, West Asian and Indian civilizations. It is also true that these civilizations were themselves influenced by many other civilizations. In this way they collectively formed global civilization. Having been inextricably intertwined with the history of the neighbouring territories, the Kashmir culture cannot be understood without situating it with the civilizations that emerged on its borders from time to time.

Women empowerment has been one of the significant strategies in the development process in India since the 9th Five Years Plan. Self help Group (SHG) approach has become the most sought after means for achieving that goal, particularly among the poor people. Studies undertaken so far have assessed the role of SHGs towards women empowerment in India, focusing on "increase in income" or "gender impact". In this study we have tried to highlight the perception of SHG participants about their empowerment, with particular reference to Tribal women in Nilgiris district, Tamilnadu. The study deals with 50 respondents from each tribal community in Nilgiris district. Our results revealed that SHG approach provided for the self directed learning (SDL) to women in the context of their value system, belief and custom was of particular value. There respondents of the SHGs perceived to have been empowered after joining in this programme and achieved a relatively higher status by inculcating certain skills within themselves

Women are less likely to seek medical help, knowledge about diseases and appropriate care until their condition get worsen. A large number of females were depend on self-care, home remedies or on traditional methods for the treatment of their diseases. As a matter of fact, awareness regarding diseases, its symptoms and risks are insufficient among women. They have developed a negative attitude towards the disease and have less knowledge about the advanced treatments methods. The objective of the paper is to examine the extent of awareness level of women towards the diseases. The Chi- square test has been applied to know the association between various socio-economic characteristics of the women respondents like age of women respondents, education level, employment status and income level with their awareness level on diseases. The socio-economic characteristics have been examined and appropriate suggestions would be presented. It has been found that women have been ignoring their health issues and less aware about their health issues. On the basis of findings of this study, women's high awareness level and strong attitude towards diseases is the need of the hour.

Globally, the use of nutraceuticals, herbal remedies, and natural goods in treatments has increased in recent years. The demands of therapeutic needs for treating diverse pathological conditions are not met by conventional treatment choices that are accessible as synthetic medications. In terms of diabetes and herbal medications, nutraceuticals provide a more promising treatment option with fewer side effects. Nutraceuticals are described as non-specific biological treatments that employ all natural goods to maintain and promote wellbeing, stop cancerous processes, and manage symptoms. It has been asserted that nutritional supplements offer powerful disease-prevention, disease-cure, and health-promoting properties. Diabetes is a complex, chronic disease characterised by a state of hyperglycaemia brought on by a lack of insulin secretion, insulin action, or both. Diabetic has been shown to be targeted by a number of nutraceuticals used in clinical practise, favourably modulating a number of biochemical and clinical endpoints. Many traditional medical systems employ hypoglycaemic medications to prevent, regulate, and cure diabetes mellitus. These medications are derived from plants like Momordica charantia (Karela), Nigella sativa (Kalonji), and Cinnamomum cassia (Cinnamon). These plant extracts have demonstrated a clinically significant benefit in preserving healthy lipid profiles and blood sugar levels. This study aims to highlight and comment on some of the most widely used nutraceuticals for diabetes prevention.

Phishing attacks send bogus messages that are likely to come from legal sources. This is usually done by email. The main aim of phishing is to sneak sensitive data such as credit card numbers, and login credentials and install malware on the victim's computer and bank account details. This paper describes a machine-learning technique to detect phishing URLs by unsheathing & investigating profuse characteristics of legitimate and phishing URLs. Machine learning techniques used for phishing websites are decision trees, random forests, support vector machines, and XGBoost.

Normal groundwater dry seasons begin from decreased re-energize over a delayed timeframe and these dry spells are in many cases improved by human exercises (for example reflections). Low groundwater heads and little groundwater slopes cause dry spells. Groundwater dry seasons are basically connected with low good yields, which influence public water supply and water system rehearses and are connected with different dry spells (for example rural dry seasons). Groundwater dry spell observing and appraisal strategies depend on an examination of time-series of groundwater re-energize or groundwater heads and require a limit or likelihood event, which must be gotten from a legitimate assessment of the impacts of groundwater dry seasons, for example, bringing down of good levels, decrease of spring flow or decrease of hair like ascent. A portion of these impacts is examined to represent how in the end such edge or likelihood of an event is not set in stone.

The 73rd and 74th Constitutional Amendments had intended to strengthen democracy through local governing institutions. The intention of the amendments had not been properly understood by some states. Without proper devolution of powers and functions, implementation of any scheme of decentralization including constitutional amendment is meaningless. An attempt was made in this article to examine various dimensions of grassroots democratic institutions in Andhra Pradesh. The appraisal is based on the data collected from various sources particularly three panchayati raj institutions and three urban local bodies in the state.
