 Abstract

The concept of caste in India is deeply ingrained in society, dividing people into rigid social hierarchies based on birth. At the bottom of this hierarchy are the Dalits, who have been historically considered "untouchables" and subjected to extreme forms of discrimination, exclusion, and violence. Dalit literature is a genre of Indian writing that focuses on the lives, experiences, and struggles of the Dalit community, who have faced caste-based oppression and discrimination Dalit literature has also been instrumental in the development of Dalit feminism, with the autobiographies and testimonies of Dalit women authors emphasizing the intersection of caste, class, and gender in the context of social exclusion. Ilavenil Meena Kandasamy is an Indian poet, translator, fiction writer and activist, based out of Chennai, in Tamil Nadu, India. Majority of her works are based on feminism alongside the anti-caste movement of annihilation of the Indian epoch, acting as the prime reaction of her being tormented and attacked by stereo realm.

 Abstract

Many technologies have caused a huge effect that exceeded the technology itself. But none of the technology has the potential to alter human life that Artificial Intelligence can do. AI has started to create an impact on fields such as education, medical, entertainment, etc. In this review paper, we will be going through a concept known as 3D reconstruction, which has been very useful in this era of AI. The motive of this paper is to highlight the uses of 3D reconstruction in a range of fields. We will moreover be supplying some of the algorithms and software program applications that will be used to feature the 3D reconstruction. The challenge of producing fast and proper 3D snapshots with the aid of 3D reconstruction has determined its utility in fields such as robotics, augmented reality, human-computer interaction, entertainment, reverse engineering, the scientific field, and animation.

 Abstract

The rising demand for fuels poses a problem for modern scientists. There are decreasing amounts of fossil fuels left to use. As a result, biodiesel has emerged as a promising alternative fuel for the future of the planet. It's a fuel that won't harm the planet. Many scientists have made concerted efforts to develop compression ignition engines that can run on biodiesel generated from plant oils. There is a wide range of raw materials to choose from, such as Pongamia Pinnata, Neem seeds, cashew nuts, waste vegetables, cotton seed, etc. Biodiesel fuel and lubricants are made from non-edible oil seeds and vegetable oils such palm oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, and canola oil. However, Pongamia pinnata shows promise as a raw material source because it can be collected from the wild with relative ease. The Pongamia pinnata tree is a nitrogen-fixing, drought-resistant, semi-deciduous legume. In this paper, we look at the feasibility of producing biodiesel on Vanua Levu's 58,897 hectares of marginal, underutilised land. According to the output forecast, it is possible that the available land area might yield 488 million litres of Pongamia oil and 645 million litres of biodiesel. For all discount rates up to 10%, the benefit-cost ratio is greater than 1, and the net present value of the project is positive, as determined by a cost-benefit analysis.

 Abstract

In India, the gap between the haves and the have-nots is always alarmingly high. Vices like superstition, illiteracy, caste system and the greed of the rich and powerful do not allow the principle of equality to set in. Consequently, India is unable to get rid of poverty and unemployment. It was with the objective of alleviating poverty and generating employment that the role of small finance came into the limelight. The word "micro credit" did not exist before the seventies. Now it has become a buzz-word among the development practitioners. In the process, the word has been imputed to mean everything to everybody. Micro credit creates a huge purchasing power. This, in turn, gives impetus to industrial growth and finally leads to a higher GDP. The contribution of micro credit towards social reforms cannot be overlooked either. Over the past decade, micro finance institutions have adopted innovative ways of providing credit and savings services to the entrepreneurial poor. Several micro finance institutions have succeeded in reaching the poorest of the poor by devising innovative strategies. These include the provision of small loans to poor people, especially in rural areas, at full-cost interest rates, without collateral, that is repayable in frequent installments. Micro finance programmes aimed at the poor women are designed to help them to come out of the clutches of poverty and make a sustainable living. One of the assumptions of the scheme is that loans are the only financing system that can provide sufficient capital to meet the needs of the SHG members. Under this scheme, credit is available for various purposes ranging from urgent consumption needs to accumulation of assets. Also, the credit users are encouraged to initiate small income generating micro-enterprise. It is a fact that self-employment activities bring income, increase consumption levels, lead to a rise in the demand for education of children. This study underlines the impact of microfinance on women resulting in an increase in income and improvement in their standard of living. The present study makes an attempt to analyse the impact of micro-finance aimed at poor and impoverished rural women in particular, using survey data gathered from members of women SHGs functioning in Virudhunagar district of Tamilnadu.

 Abstract

Background: Corticosteroids are a significant category of medications in dermatology and are frequently prescribed. However, despite their effectiveness, they are associated with various adverse effects. Given that many skin conditions are chronic, it is crucial to ensure that the use of these drugs is rational. Consequently, this study was conducted with the objective of examining the utilization pattern of topical corticosteroids. Methods: This was a hospital-based, prospective, and observational study conducted over a 12-month period. Data collection involved one-on-one consultations with patients, and the information collected was recorded in a specially designed form. Subsequently, the data were entered and analysed using Microsoft Excel. Results: The study revealed that 48% of the patients were male, while 52% were female. The majority of patients fell within the 21-30 age group (30%). Scabies (30%) emerged as the most prevalent dermatological condition. Among the different topical corticosteroids prescribed, mometasone furoate (31.4%) was the most frequently chosen. In addition to topical corticosteroids, H1 antihistaminic drugs like levocetirizine (81.6%) were commonly prescribed, along with emollients (36.4%) and permethrin (29.2%). On average, each prescription included 3.6 drugs, all of which were prescribed using their generic names. Conclusions: Regularly monitoring the drug utilization pattern through prescription auditing is an effective tool for establishing guidelines to improve the utilization of medications.

 Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) security process to evaluate a system design that securely safeguards the information from various technologies. Cybersecurity has increasingly become a significant role in the platform of ICT that is adopted throughout the world. In ICT security is the ability to protect the Availability, Integrity, and Confidentiality of an organization's digital information resources. The responsibility and capabilities of ICT security should address the issue such as employee behavior on social network and inadequate public experience of digital information. Online Social network (OSN) most common type of interaction between people and botnet attacks on this network are currently corrupting the data and defined malicious data or intrusion of the network. Hence Machine learning algorithms are used to provide concurrence in cybersecurity for social networks in the infrastructure of ICT. One of the legitimate purposes of using Botnets to support the ITC channels operations using administrative rights on a specific process. Such goals do not meet with a large number of bots that have been seen in the research paper. The proposed research investigated to apply machine learning techniques to detect insider attacks to reduce network traffic, particularly in the area of botnet detection. The Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm is used for dynamic events and handles complex tasks coming from cyberspace which can be considered malicious activities from the unknown user in the ICT platform.

 Abstract

Kampavata is one of the vatavyadhi, Basavarajeeyam gives a brief description of this with symptoms such as Kara pada tala kampa, Deha brahmana, Nidrabhanga, Matiksheena, etc. Kampavata can be correlated to Parkinson's disease. It is a neurodegenerative disease. It is a progressive loss of structure or functions of neurons including the death of neurons ranging from molecular to the systemic level. Tremor, rigidity, and bradykinesia are the main symptoms of Parkinson's disease; these symptoms are similar to Kampa, Sanga, and Gatisanga. These are mainly because of Vata. Here Vata Dosha is responsible for the disease which is originating either in Sakha, Koshta, Marma, Asthi, or Sandhi. A mixture of Saindhava and Madhu generates the hydroelectric energies in nerve cells for communication. Due to the Sukshma property of Sneha, it helps the drug to reach the microcellular level. The medicinal value of Kalka and Kwatha helps with curative, purification, and preventive aspects. Basti acts as a regenerative process. Its Veerya helps to disrupt the pathogenic process and carries out the morbid matter towards Pakvashaya for elimination, there after by absorption it starts its regenerative process. The clinical trial was undertaken to compare the efficacy of Matra Basti with Masha Taila and Ksheerabala Taila 7 aavarthita in the management of Kampavata (Parkinson's Disease). 30 patients having classical symptom of Kampavata of either sex were selected and divided into two groups; consisting of 15 patients in each group. In Group-A Matra Basti was administered with Masha Taila in dose of 60ml was inserted through rectum for 9 consecutive days. In Group-B Matra Basti was administered with Ksheerabalataila 7 aavarthita in dose of 60ml was inserted through rectum for 9 consecutive days. The clinical assessment was done using Modified Universal Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale. All symptoms were given scoring depending upon their severity from 0 to 4. The results were subjected to Wilcoxon signed rank test and Mann Whitney U Test Rank it suggests no significant difference after the treatment. Overall the results are not much better in both groups. So far, the experience with treatment has been good and the response is up to 25% in all the patients of both groups.

 Abstract

The relationship between a teacher's adjustment and their quality of life is a crucial aspect of the educational landscape, impacting both educators and students. This study explores the intricate interplay between a teacher's ability to adapt to their professional environment and the subsequent influence on their overall quality of life. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through surveys, interviews, and observations from a diverse sample of teachers in various educational settings. The findings reveal a significant correlation between a teacher's adjustment to their work environment and their quality of life. Teachers who exhibit higher levels of adaptability tend to experience better job satisfaction, reduced stress levels, and improved overall well-being. Factors such as positive school climate, supportive colleagues, professional development opportunities, and effective classroom management techniques were identified as critical contributors to teacher adjustment. Teachers facing challenges in adapting to their work environment reported lower job satisfaction, increased burnout, and diminished personal well-being. Factors such as excessive workload, inadequate support, and classroom disruptions were identified as obstacles to teacher adjustment. These findings underscore the importance of addressing teacher adjustment as an integral part of educational policy and practice. By creating supportive school environments, fostering professional growth, and implementing strategies to mitigate stressors, educators can enhance their quality of life and, in turn, positively impact student outcomes. This research highlights the need for ongoing efforts to improve teacher well-being, ultimately benefiting both educators and the educational community as a whole.

The main objective of this study is to enlight the food security interlinks between health and education in Constitutional Law scenario. The Constitutional Law regulates the food security and good health and good education in Part III and Part IV of the Constitutional Law of India. Our country is land of 140 crores of population. This is endanger to our country when compare with the Atom Bomb. The historical perspective of Indian Demography has been prevailed in 1901 was 23 crores, after Independence particularly in 1947 was 37 crores and in 2011was 120 crores population increased. It has been increased year by year. The retrospective of colonial India suffered with famines. The huge famines were occurred in consecutive years in 1783, 1866, 1873, 1892, 1837 and the worst hit in 1943-1946 in West Bengal. During Bengal famine approximately 20 lakhs people died due to starvation. Drought hit in the country wide during these years. Even Britishers also took the preventive measures to face the famine droughts. Apart from this, the Britishers conducted the Indian Science Congress Association particularly 33rd ISCA in Bangalore headed by Prof. Afzal Hussain. The retrospective of these famines, Dr. M.S.Swaminathan contributed Green Revolution in India known as Grain Revolution. It was began in 1960's to prevent the drought and prevent starvation. Since then India has been fulfilled the sufficient food grains. Food Corporation of India established in 1965. The Union Government has been distributed free Rice and Wheat for 80 crores people. But surplus for 3 years stocks advanced. The Union Government and State Governments did not afraid of food security. India has sufficient food security Rice and wheat upto 3 years.  Abstract

There has been an increasing awareness regarding the ill effects of the junk foods in the society. Consumers prefer healthy and nutritious foods in place of junk foods these days. Calcium is required during all stages of the human life cycle. Millets are a rich source of calcium and is locally available and affordable to all economical segments of the society. Kulkuls, are popular ready to eat sweet snacks usually prepared during Christmas. The commercially available ready to eat snacks are not nutrient dense and does not serve any calcium requirements. An investigation was undertaken to develop a ready to eat value added fried snack Kulkul millet bites. Development and standardization trials of the Kulkuls (basic) and three variations of value added kulkul millet bites (V1, V2, V3 ) was carried out in the Food and Nutrition laboratory. In this study, sensory evaluation, proximate analysis and shelf life study of the Kulkul millet bites was taken up. The standardized products were subjected to sensory evaluation by 15 semi trained panelists using a 9-point hedonic rating scale. Sensory attributes included appearance, colour, texture, taste, odour and overall acceptability. Sensory evaluation results indicated Kulkul millet bites variation (V1) containing Ragi 50%, Egg - 20%, Butter - 15%, Sugar 8%,kalonji seeds -3%, fennel seeds - 2%, sesame seeds-2% was best accepted. The sensory attributes of value added Kulkul millet bites with reference to appearance, colour, texture and overall acceptability exhibited notable differences among the variations. However, taste and odour did not show statistically significant differences. Nutritional analysis of the best accepted variation (V1) showed to contain 7.48% moisture, 4.56 g protein, 31.13 g fat, 5.33 g total fiber,1.37 g ash, 50.13g carbohydrate, 456.02 kcal energy and 58.9 mg calcium per 100 g of value added kulkul millet bites, on cooked weight basis with a shelf life of 10 days at room temperature. This easy to prepare, tasty, nutrient dense Kulkul millet bites, developed in this investigation could replace the junk food snacks and can be used anytime of the year. It can also be used by people who are calcium deficient and gluten intolerant.

 Abstract

Stock market volatility clusters occur when periods of high volatility are followed by periods of low volatility, creating a clustering effect. This phenomenon has been observed in financial markets and is of great interest to investors, traders, and researchers. Understanding the dynamics of stock market volatility clusters is crucial for making informed investment decisions and managing risk. By identifying these clusters, investors can potentially take advantage of periods of high volatility to enter or exit positions strategically. In this paper the researcher has attempted to define the clusters and then identify the implications of these clusters on the economy.

 Abstract

Tiredness has been the significant cause of horrible accidents which is causing deaths and fatalities injuries. Intelligent vehicle systems could be used to detect when the person is drowsy. Here, we use a machine learning approach to see if the driver is tired. The procedure of locating the driver's eyes and determining whether they are open or closed is illustrated in this paper. The system operates by using data, obtained for the binary-formatted image to identify the face edges, which determines where a person's eyes may be exist. We provide a sleepy driver alert system that was created by evaluating the video stream process (VSP) using an inborn reflex construct that applies the geometrical distance of the attention and the eye aspect ratio (EAR). An algorithmic technique based on facial landmarks is also applied for reliable eye recognition. The module alerts the voice surveillance system and displays a warning message alongside the crash impact and site details when it detects driver drowsiness. The suggested work uses facial expressions to implement an emotion detection technique based on Support Vector Machines (SVM). The algorithm performed more accurately than existing research when tested in conditions of varying luminance.

 Abstract

In light of India's changing relationship with its tribal or indigenous people, this paper seeks to examine 'tribal' production in colonial India and how this affected contemporary Indian understandings of status in. While this paper argues that public policies operate in a myriad of ways of defining, imagining and representing target populations, this paper seeks to explore classifications a controversial and multifaceted identity that such communities have appropriated, discarded and appropriated since colonial times thus examining the ideologies that informed and formed caste systems in independent India, engaged with them and becomes .A Critical Analysis of the Historical Stories of Indian Tribal People in Indian History Textbook, Our Past Part III Part I, published by the Board of Education Research Training (NCERT) is implemented in every middle school in India as a. Where there is excess in the dominant mind. It has played an important role in selection and Aboriginal references in the textbook. However, these psychological factors. It is not limited to the following: Aborigines are portrayed primarily as one; they Religious religions do not share Hinduism; and tribal knowledge Languages are made cheaper; and finally, new perspectives on Aboriginal childhood, e.g. Child labor is eliminated. They present the livelihood that is the essence of Indian tribal life Unqualified for skilled labor and professional work like most Indians.

 Abstract

GenoArt is a standalone application for detecting coding potential of transcripts complemented by experimentally derived proteomics (MS/MS) data. GenoART will make use of Python, PERL and JavaScript's for processing input genome and create a custom database for proteogenomic searches. In simple terms, the custom database generated by this application can be used as a reference protein database and search the unmatched or unassigned spectra in any search engines such as Mascot, SEQUEST, X! Tandem or Andromeda. GenoART can be queried to categorize and browse these resultant peptides at the click of a button. The peptides will include the genomic coordinates which allows user to navigate to UCSC genome browser which can facilitate more details about the gene or transcript and can be compared with predicted genes, Expressed sequence Tag (EST), and perform comparative genomics for more evidence. A GTF (Gene Transfer Format) will be available to download upon querying, which can later be viewed in any genome visualizer such as UCSC or IGV to compare across different studies. In the visualize module, we have incorporated Integrated Genome Viewer (IGV), developed in java script for aiding in visualization of the GTF files generated in GenoART and to aid in further understanding of the Genome and refinement or revising the existing gene or transcript models, Visualization part is a future work has to be done. Overview: Genome concentrates on genetic information from each of the twenty-three pairs of chromosomes. Ridley has carefully selected the genes that drive the content of each uses them as springboards for discussing a variety of issues. Ridley describes some of the most well studied genes that caught the attention of researchers because they can cause disease when muted. Genome annotation is the process of attaching biological information to sequences. It consists of three main steps: 1. Identifying portions of the genome that do not code for proteins 2. Identifying elements on the genome, a process is called gene prediction 3. Attaching biological information to these elements Statement of the problem: Genome data is so large that is difficult to view and analysis in genomic viewers or browser. The filtration process is complicated to reduce the size of the data and view it in the viewers. Motivation: Advancement in next generation sequencing technologies have enhanced several clinical applications in cancer biomarker discovery and aid in identifying pathogenic variants in inherited genetic disorders and identifying drug resistance of the emerging microbiome. however, most clinical studies rely on the existing knowledge of the gene models, and refinement of the genome is therefore essential for diagnostic relevance. We present GenoART a cross platform Graphical User Interface for the proteogenomics analysis. Conclusion: A cross-platform tool 'GenoART' for proteogenomics analysis is developed with simple web application wrapped around by the Electron framework. To our knowledge, this is the first of its kind and scientists with minimum skills in web applications and scripting languages can deploy their application for diverse users. The aim of study was to provide a catalog of the proteins identified in the brain of An. gambiae mosquitoes based on experimental evidence and to additionally use the data to refine its genome annotation. We report here the identification of a set novel protein coding regions in An. gambiae genome obtained by high resolution tandem mass-spectrometry. With the proteogenomic approach, we were able to obtain a more comprehensive and accurate catalog of protein-coding genes.
