This study looks at how parental practices affect the self-worth of 98 Indian adolescents between ages of 13-18. Using the Perceived Parenting Styles Scale by Divya and Manikandan (2013) and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, the research explores correlations between authoritative, authoritarian, and permissive parenting styles and self-esteem, while also examining gender differences. Results indicate a positive correlation between authoritative parenting style and self-esteem (r = 0.145) whereas a negative correlation for authoritarian parenting (r = -0.519). Permissive parenting also correlated positively (r = 0.412) with self-esteem. A t-test revealed no significant gender differences in self-esteem (p = 0.791), suggesting that factors other than gender, such as parenting style and societal shifts toward gender equality, may play a more critical role in shaping adolescent self-esteem. The results highlight that authoritative parenting increases a sense of self-worth while strict dictatorial parenting lowers it. Permissive parenting supports self-esteem but may present challenges in discipline.

Chronic constipation is a common gastrointestinal disorder that significantly impacts the quality of life and can lead to various health complications. Traditional management approaches, including fiber supplements, laxatives, and lifestyle changes, offer varying degrees of effectiveness, often with unwanted side effects. Recently, dietary modifications have gained interest as a natural and potentially effective solution for constipation relief. This comprehensive review examines the potential of avocado consumption in alleviating chronic constipation, exploring the underlying mechanisms by which its nutrients influence gastrointestinal motility and stool consistency. Avocados can be recommended to people who are suffering from constipation and could be given to elderly people on their regular diet due to the presence of a good amount of fiber content, magnesium, and fats, as well as the ability to maintain hydration. Further research could be done to investigate how avocado-derived prebiotic fibers influence gut flora, improving motility and stool consistency.

The research delves into the Theory of Hybridity in Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Purple Hibiscus, exploring how the novel embodies and challenges Homi Bhabha's concept of cultural hybridity. Through a critical discourse analysis, this study examines the ways in which Adichie's narrative negotiates the complexities of cultural identity, belonging, and resistance in postcolonial Nigeria. By applying this theory of hybridity, this project reveals how the novel's characters, settings, and themes embody the tensions and contradictions of cultural, social, political hybridity creating richly textured narrative of identity formation and transformation. This study argues that purple hibiscus offers a nuanced and powerful illustration of the theory of hybridity, shedding light on the ways in which cultural identity is negotiated, performed, and transformed in the context of cultural exchange.

In this capricious world order, maintaining a rigid identity for Tibetan refugees itself becomes a challenge especially when they belong to a nation that has no geographical territory. Being born and brought up in foreign lands, Tibetans face many obstacles in their life associated with their identity and economic sustainability. Tibetan refugees are now left with the memories passed into them by their ancestors. After many failed dialogues with China, now they have been advocating for autonomy within Tibet if not full freedom. In this process, they are deliberately trying to prove their patriotism toward their motherland by reviving their culture and religious traditions in their places of refuge. Thus, Tibetans have not only re-defined and negotiated their identity as 'Tibetans' but also re-constructed their Nationalism through their cultural and religious consciousness and economic practices.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent endocrine disorder affecting 6-20% of reproductive-aged women, characterized by hyperandrogenism, chronic anovulation, and polycystic ovaries. It poses significant health risks, including insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. The condition's pathophysiology is complex, involving genetic, hormonal, and environmental factors. Diagnosis typically follows the Rotterdam criteria, requiring two of three features: anovulation, hyperandrogenism, or polycystic ovaries. Management strategies focus on symptomatic relief and addressing metabolic concerns, but many patients remain undiagnosed or mismanaged

Cerebral palsy (CP) is the leading cause of childhood disability affecting cognitive function and developments movement and posture that cause activity limitation, whichare attributed to non-progressive disturbances that occur in the developing fetal or infant brain. The motor disorders of CP are often accompanied by disturbances of sensation, cognition, communication, perception, and/or behavior, and/or by a seizure disorder. The presentation of cerebral palsy can be global mental and physical dysfunction or isolated disturbances in gait, cognition, growth, or sensation. It is the most common childhood physical disability and affects 2 to 2.5 children per 1,000 born in the United States. Complications of cerebral palsy include spasticity and contractures; feeding difficulties; drooling; communication difficulties; osteopenia; osteoporosis; fractures; pain; and functional gastrointestinal abnormalities contributing to bowel obstruction, vomiting, and constipation. Present article aims to draw and interpret the Dosha involvement in cerebral palsy. The primary problems associated with spasticity are loss of balance, strength, and selective motor control of the muscles, and increased muscle tone which leads to problems such as fixed contractures and bony deformities that cause severe motor dysfunctionin patients. Perinatal asphyxia accounts for between 6% and 8% of CP. Prenatal causes are responsible for approximately 75% of all CP cases, although it is impossible to determine the nature and the exact timing of the damage. Postnatal acquired CP ranges in incidence from 10% to 18%.

Pollution is one of the most dangerous environmental problems the world is facing today. To stop the impending perils that pollution could cause, it is necessary that we start taking some actions to keep our environment safe and healthy. Pollution is the process by which harmful substances (called pollutants) are released into the natural environment. Agadtantra, a branch of Astanga Ayurveda that deals specifically with poison identification, forms of poison from the mineral, plant, and animal kingdoms, as well as synthetic poisons and their treatment. The idea of air, water, and land pollution has also been explored in a number of significant literature, and its contribution to diseases and the downfall of civilizations has been clarified. Dincharya, Ritucharya, and Janpadodhvansa are three ways in which our Acharyas, the founders of Ayurveda, have already described environmental wellness. The cumulative toxicity has also been included in the Dushi Visha concept. Pollutants like dust, gases, metals, chemicals, etc. that are regularly exposed to build up in our bodies and act as Dushi Visha. This review article is a first step in using our ancient science to identify answers to problems with growing environmental degradation and their management.

Abstract Geographers and regional planners have long faced difficulties due to geographic disparities in human development results. There are many various methods for measuring the development gap, and each one offers a distinct way of classifying the world according to its level of development. Present study is to investigate the geographical variation of human development index (HDI) and socio economic elements that have an impact on sustainable regional development. The study is based on the secondary data, and sources are from Census of India, United National Development Programme (UNDP) and district human development report at different time intervals. The social development indices have been calculated like adult literacy index, female literacy index, gender parity index, child health index, adult health index ,malnutrition index, work participation rate etc .All these information have been integrated into GIS platform. Spatial and overlay analysis have been performed to determine the regions under high, medium and low development within the study site. The very high value of education index is calculated for Pingla and Sabang block. The low value of education index is calculated for Dantan-I, Kharagpur-I and Kharagpur-II block. The results' clear-cut implications show that Debra Block has already succeeded in making a 69.3% improvement in her health, while the remaining 30.70% still has to be made. Cultivators and agricultural labourers made the largest contribution to the labour force out of all occupations. In Pingla, farmers made up 45.10percent of the overall workforce, whereas in KharagpurI, they madeup 38.07percent.This information would then be used to help plan more effectively and take mitigating measures.
