Racism is a clear and important theme in T. C. Boyle's The Tortilla Curtain, but there is another important theme that can be seen by looking at how the book builds realism and moves the plot along. Using concepts of gender and masculinity that people already have, the story compares and contrasts the different worlds of men and women. As the story moves from one character to another, their different home responsibilities are also compared and contrasted. The story builds on and relies on the idea of a dichotomy between the sexes to show how Delaney Mossbacher's displays of masculinity are on the edge. His identity problem and feeling of being out of place can be explained by putting Delaney's performance of manhood within the limits of the traditional male role. Also, by putting scenes where Delaney Mossbacher's male position has been threatened next to scenes that show his descent into racism, the book shows that there is a logical link between Delaney's bad situation and his increasingly racist, violent, and hateful outbursts, which makes them more believable.

Abstract: People today, especially students, are overburdened with mental exertion to the point where many suffer memory loss and impairment of focus. The mind's tendency to flit from one idea to the next renders it unfocused and unable to concentrate. Students who practice dhyana (meditation) gain a deeper understanding of their own self and experience a greater sense of calm and contentment. The results demonstrated that dhyana, concentration, and smriti have a substantial impact on students. Raj yoga's dhyana, or meditation, is a unique method of calming the mind (satang yoga). The process is voluntary at first, but thereafter becomes involuntary. Since there are no withdrawal symptoms, it is a very unique product. Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita's method is straightforward and doesn't necessitate the use of any external media, such as music or video. Even saints' practices like prekshya dhyana, transcendental meditation, etc. can be used. In the Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita's method, the approach is simple and straightforward. Hypertension increases the risk of heart attack, stroke, glaucoma, and kidney failure. Maintaining a blood pressure (BP) of 140/90 mm Hg or less is recommended to reduce the long-term effects of hypertension. Mediation aids with blood pressure management. Immediately, it lowers blood pressure, lowers the pulse, and increases cardiac strength, while the long-term effects of meditation regulate complex bio-chemical and brain processes to lower blood pressure. Hypertension and its complications can be better controlled when meditation is practiced on a regular basis.

Academics today face an array of challenges to their enthusiasm, including teaching students from diverse backgrounds with wavering levels of engagement with their studies. Furthermore, reform to their research tertiary education sector has seen increasingly measuring academic outcomes in respect of both teaching and research. Sometimes academics are feeling that a substantial part of their work is not recognized in a meaningful way, which may impact morale, intellectual time and autonomy. This limited recognition can result in academics' enthusiasm, especially towards teaching, waning. This could result in unfavorable outcomes, as an academic's lack of enthusiasm may have an adverse impact on student learning, may also affect their own wellbeing and, ultimately, be detrimental to the institution they work for. This paper focused on various factors such as; Social, Individual, Institutional and National factors that influenced academics' enthusiasm to engage in research and scholarly endeavors. In-depth interviews, observation and document analysis were done. Factors responsible for academics' research enthusiasm, included are social, national, institutional and individual factors. In order to enhance every academic' research enthusiasm, institutions should establish mentorship programs in research and scholarly writing, set up rotational leadership rules in research clusters to give each member a chance to be the "first author," and launch more series of journals as viable avenues for academics to publish. Encourages and aware of the global, national and local contexts of education and technology to researchers. The researcher also suggests some way towards supporting 'better' research in various areas.

In June 2020, the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) initiative was introduced with the goal of supporting street vendors' socioeconomic empowerment and offering financial aid, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study looks at street vendors' knowledge of and use of the PM SVANidhi initiative in the Karnataka region of Mangalore City Corporation (MCC). The study used qualitative research methods to collect data, such as field surveys with a sample of 55 respondents who chose to make a living from street vending in the study region and personal observation. Through surveys and interviews with street vendors, the study reveals disparities in awareness, obstacles to the program, and how the loans affect their ability to make a living. According to the findings, although government and bank awareness activities have resulted in modest scheme adoption, many vendors continue to encounter obstacles such restricted access to digital payment platforms, banking services, and information. The paper also explains how the program has aided vendors in adopting digital payments, improving cash flow, and stabilizing their entities. However, obstacles to full usage still exist in the form of documentation, loan repayment plans, and technological adaptability. In order to guarantee the program's long-term viability and inclusivity in Mangalore, the study ends with suggestions for improving outreach, streamlining processes, and offering improved assistance for digital literacy.

Abstract This research delves into the adoption of FinTech services and their impact on sustainable banking practices within the Coimbatore region of Tamil Nadu. The study investigates the multifaceted dynamics of FinTech adoption, drawing insights from user perceptions, actual usage patterns, and demographic factors. A comprehensive analysis utilizing statistical methods including correlation matrices and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) has revealed significant findings. The Coimbatore region is experiencing a surge in FinTech adoption, largely propelled by user experiences characterized by perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. These factors are interconnected, driving individuals who find FinTech services easy to use to also perceive them as highly useful, resulting in increased engagement. However, demographic attributes, such as age, income, and education, play modest roles in shaping FinTech adoption patterns, underlining the need for a nuanced approach that considers both user experience and individual characteristics. Beyond adoption, our study illuminates the transformative potential of FinTech in promoting sustainable banking practices. Actively engaged FinTech users are more inclined to adopt sustainable financial behaviors, such as digital financial management and eco-conscious investments. This underscores the opportunity for financial institutions and policymakers to harness FinTech's potential in advancing financial inclusion and environmentally responsible financial practices. This research contributes to the evolving narrative of FinTech's role in shaping the future of banking while advocating for the alignment of technology-driven financial innovation with sustainable, inclusive, and equitable banking practices within the Coimbatore region.

Ketoprofen is the most widely used non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which comes under BCS Class II, making it effective for relieving pain and inflammation. However, despite its therapeutic benefits, Ketoprofen has low aqueous solubility, which significantly hinders its oral bioavailability. This limitation highlights the need for innovative strategies to improve its absorption in the body. One promising approach involves forming cyclodextrin inclusion complexes, which act as a specialized delivery system for drugs with poor solubility. In our study, we focused on synthesizing Ketoprofen/ ?- ?-cyclodextrin inclusion complexes using microwave irradiation, with molar ratios of 1:1 and 1:2. The main goal of our research is to investigate how these ?-cyclodextrin complexes affect the solubility and bioavailability of Ketoprofen. To thoroughly evaluate the effectiveness of this novel system, we will examine various parameters, including the percentage of practical yield. This will be carried out using exacting laboratory techniques such as in-vitro drug dissolution investigations, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). We will also assess drug content uniformity to ensure a comprehensive analysis of how these complexes enhance the properties of ketoprofen.

Difficult-to-treat antibiotic-resistant infections are on the rise and are a global health problem. Molecular Mechanisms Antibiotic-resistant bacteria are essential to finding ways to avoid the conditions that promote persistent bacteria. The aim of this workshop is to examine the genetics of the molecular mechanisms of antibiotic resistance and to define the intrinsic, acquired, and environmental resistance to antibiotics that block different bacteria and the phenotypic response defined by the protocol that provides the antibiotic. This defense mechanism allows bacteria with this mechanism to survive and even actively grow in the presence of antibiotics. In addition, some different viruses have developed mechanisms to resist various drugs, making it difficult to target these viruses with treatments for common viruses, resulting in patient infection. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of the immune system is important for developing new strategies to overcome and prevent immune problems. Research on the development and prevention process must be understood in the early stages of drug development and ideas for developing antibiotics or improving access to antibiotics in the workplace.
