BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: High blood pressure ranging from 140-159 mm Hg of SBP and/or 90-99 mmHg of DBP is defined as Stage 1 hypertension. Various lifestyle modification can help to control BP in addition to drugs therapy such as aerobic exercises etc. Interval aerobic exercises has shown benefits for reducing BP. There is lack of evidences that compare the effects of Moderate intensity interval training (MIIT) and low intensity continuous training in combination with yoga (LICT+YOGA) on BP in hypertensive patients. METHODOLOGY: 40 stage 1 hypertensive patients of 45-55 years of age were recruited and divided into two group. Group-A (n=20) and Group-B (n=20) received MIIT and LICT+YOGA for 4 sessions lasting 50-60 minutes; for 4 weeks duration respectively. MIIT at work: rest ratio of 3:1 and LICT+YOGA at 11 RPE (30 min) + Surya namaskar (10 min) with warm up and cool down exercises. Weight, HR, SBP, DBP and 6 MWD (for functional capacity) were taken before and after treatment. RESULT: MIIT and LICT+YOGA, both groups showed statistically significant improvements with P=0.00. MIIT was superior in reducing HR, SBP, DBP and increasing 6 MWD than LICT+YOGA with P<0.05 except in weight reduction with P=0.58. Statistical analysis was done using SPSS v. 23 and Excel 2019 for paired and unpaired T tests. CONCLUSION: Both interventions can elicit benefits on hypertension by reducing BP, HR, weight and improve functional capacity. Thus, it can inhibit drug dosage and its adverse effects by addition BP reduction. MIIT was found greater for hypertensive patients to reduce BP than LICT+YOGA.

Nagaland is a state inhabited by 16 hospitable tribes and other sub-tribes. Nagas are the tribal people, belong to Mongoloid ethnic group. Nagas lived a life, centered on agriculture and headhunting. Each tribe is distinctively different from the other in terms of tradition, customary practices, language and attires are preserved. The word culture has varied meanings and it is inseparable from human life. According to Oxford Dictionary, Culture is defined as the arts and other manifestation of human intellectual achievements of a particular time or people. Naga Culture is associated with the ways of living and therefore it can mean the way they eat, the way they dress, the way they speak or the way they work to earn their livelihoods. It includes the norms, customs, traditions and beliefs that are related with the mountain dwelling people i.e. the Naga community. Culture is the common heritage of the society and passed on from one generation to the next. The modern ignition of information and new desires should not break up the Structure of the Naga society but it should protect its culture. The history and traditions of the Nagas are preserved in the memories of the people and handed down to generation to generation. It includes everything under the sun that can be communicated to the next generation. It is both specific and conceptual that is expressed in tangible objects as well as in ideas and philosophy. The rich heritage is the patrimony and it speaks volumes about its culture and customs of the tribe. It has been decaying because of the modernization .This paper aims, to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Nagas while they are still relatively intact.

Ksharasutra is a proven hallmark technique of Ayurvedic surgery. Presently Ksharasutra is the answer to some of the surgically treatable disease(s) which have high recurrence rates post-surgery especially in disease like Pilonidal sinus. International surgical texts have also not failed to mention the usage and benefits of Ksharasutra. The present-day management of pilonidal sinus is based on the removal of causative factors which include complete radical excision of the track. Post operatively patients will have severe pain, discomfort, need long hospital stay and require prolonged dressings along with antibiotics. Recurrence is very common even with adequate excision of the tract and proper surgical wound management. Complications like post-op infection, wound dehiscence, seroma can be seen along with recurrence. In the past two-decades various researches are being carried out with respect to various Kshara and Ksharasutra. This Pilonidal sinus can be correlated to Shalyaja nadi vrana. Application of Ksharasutra has been explained as treatment modality in Nadivrana by Acharya Sushrutha and Acharya Chakrapanidatta. Recent researches are aiming to produce Ksharasutra out of available Kshara drugs. one such combination is Guggulu based Palasha ksharasutra. Guggulu as a base material is slowly replacing Snuhi ksheera due to availability, affordability and analgesic action. Due to its abundance Palasha tops the list of kshara drug. This paper intends to throw an insight on role of Guggulu based Palasha ksharasutra in the management of Shalyaja nadi vrana through a single case study.

Fluorimetry is a type of rapid and sensitive electromagnetic spectroscopy that analyzes fluorescence from a sample by using a beam of light, usually UV light, that excites the electrons in molecules of certain compounds and causes them to emit light. Emission of light can be affected by concentration, pH, solvent, and structure of molecule. Compared to other investigative techniques, fluorimetry has a high specificity, simplicity, and low cost. It is well recognized as a strong approach utilized in a range of fields including environmental research, industrial research, medical diagnostics, forensic investigation, genetic analysis, and biotechnology and chemistry.

Vehicle pollution is major cause of Air pollution. Particulate matter has been captured from different vehicle. A filter was prepared in which aluminum foil was wrapped inside the filter with two layer inside it. Filter containing particulate matter was dipped in SLS (Sodium laurel sulfate) surfactant solution of 800 ml with a concentration of 10 mm to separate particle present in aluminum foil paper and was filtered out. Filtered Particulate matter was immersed in CaCl2 solution to obtain Activated carbon. First of fresh powder of carbon to convert Rolling and the give the micro particle of carbon. It means all metal carbon particle convert to micro particle because micro particle make ink use. And 120 gm carbon was dissolve in 20 ml coconut oil and 40 ml Glycerin , where quantity of glycerin was taken is higher amount of compared to coconut oil .(coconut oil andglycerin worked as binding agent in this over all process.
