In South Asian Diasporic Literature, Anita Rau Badami is among the most well-known authors. Her novels predominantly focus on rootlessness themes such as displacement, estrangement, loss of identity, patriarchal challenges, unacceptance, and self-identity exploration. Her third literary work, Can You Hear the Nightbird's Call? intends to elucidate the condition of a settler's life in a foreign land through the character Leela and her mother Rosa Schweers. Both battle to assert their identities in an alien land to manage their connection with an unfamiliar culture and toil to set up a new abode for them. Rosa's in-laws do not accept her, as they consider her a 'casteless German.' Whereas, Leela as a combination of two identities is overlooked by her relatives due to her mixed cultural and racial background. By including the idea of in-betweenness through diaspora, Badami has expanded her novel. She emphasizes the word "in-betweenness" to explain the notion of multiculturalism. Through various incidents, Anita Rau Badami has revealed the cultural clash and the journey of adjusting to these cultures. This article explores in depth her mother Rosa Schweers, her origin, her marriage to an Indian, her traumatic experiences at her in-law's house, her restricted relationship with her daughter Leela, and her untimely death.

Timetabling involves organizing sets of activities to create a schedule that accommodates various constraints. In the context of higher education institutions, a timetable refers to a temporary structure that outlines lecture series and assigns lecture halls or classrooms while ensuring that all relevant constraints are satisfied. Unfortunately, despite the automation of many administrative tasks in higher education, the process of creating lecture timetables has been overlooked due to the complexities involved. Traditionally, preparing such timetables has been a laborious, intricate, and time-consuming process, characterized by weeks of consultations with stakeholders, including students and department staff. It often involves continuous adjustments based on feedback. The need for a solution led to the development of computer-assisted timetable generators, which significantly save time for administrators responsible for course and timetable management. However, not all software solutions on the market can cater to the unique timetabling challenges of every institution. Therefore, there's a need for a practical approach to creating a customizable timetable program suitable for various higher education timetabling problems. To achieve this, the Rapid Application Development (RAD) software development model was employed. The primary goal of this project is to develop a hands-on timetable algorithm capable of addressing both weak and strong constraints within an automated timetable system, ensuring flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to deliver results within a limited timeframe to tackle the challenges associated with higher education timetabling.

In the modern world, individuals often require financial assistance to meet their daily needs. Consequently, banks find themselves inundated with a substantial number of loan applications. Handling this influx demands significant time and manpower resources. To address this challenge, we propose the development of a predictive model that leverages a loan dataset sourced from Kaggle. This model streamlines the loan application process and provides predictions on whether a specific loan application can be approved. It employs a supervised learning algorithm, a machine learning approach, to make these predictions.

The electrical power system has now grown into a more complex, integrated network that is continually expanding. As a result, the power system is afflicted by a variety of problems, including increasing power losses, voltage volatility, line overloads, and so on. The optimization of actual and reactive power by placing energy resources at appropriate buses can minimize losses and improve voltage profiles, especially in congested networks. As a result, the optimal renewable energy allocation (ODGA) issue is viewed as a more relevant tool for power system planning and operation operations, as the power grid rapidly changes dependent on the type and penetration level of renewable energy sources (RESs). In this article, the Aquila optimizer is utilized to alleviate this issue and reduce stress on the primary grid, making the grid more resilient. The Aquila optimizer (AO) is also employed in the optimization of distributed network. The approach proposed in this work has many objectives, including minimizing power loss and overall voltage fluctuation in a distribution system while keeping system operational and security restrictions in mind

This article is a theoretical exploration of feminism. The article traces the trajectory of feminist theory from its emergence to new materialism and post humanism. I argue that the post humanist approach was an inherent part of ancient Indian philosophy.Ancient Indian philosophy followed a monist approach in which man was considered to e a part of the larger srishti i.e. creation. The human race was placed hierarchically higher to the non humans i.e. animals and nature. Some elements of the non human world like trees, rivers and animals are viewed as sacred and are revered. However these are edicts and do not automatically translate into action. These operated in a social framework that was patriarchal and hierarchical subjugating some. For the world to attain ecological harmony we need to challenge essentialist assumptions about identity and to advocate for a more fluid and diverse understanding of human experiences. As posthumanist feminists the agency of marginalised humans and non human categories needs to be recognised and acknowledged. Together, they contribute to a broader understanding of the diverse and interconnected nature of human experiences and struggles for justice and equality.

The fashion and textiles industry has witnessed a surge in demand, leading to an unprecedented increase in apparel production and subsequently, textile wastage. Recognizing the significance of recycling, a growing consumer segment is now gravitating towards brand-conscious, ethically produced goods. This paradigm shift has prompted major brands to adopt more sustainable practices. Despite these positive strides at the macro level, the challenge of resource wastage persists at the grassroots level. The investigators conducted a case study with the aim to document the process of papermaking from textile waste. Data was collected through interviews with the industry's management and employees, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the papermaking process from textile waste. Responses were meticulously recorded and subsequently analysed to draw meaningful conclusions. The papermaking process utilizing textile waste involves several key steps. It begins with the initial phase of Cotton Shredding, Followed by Pulp Beating, a process that further refines and softens the fibres. The next step entails dipping a Mold and Deckle in and out of a tub filled with the prepared pulp mixture. Subsequently, any excess water is drained from the newly formed sheet to achieve the desired consistency. The paper is then subject to a Drying phase. The paper is then Cut to attain the desired dimensions and shape. Finally, Printing can be applied to the paper to add specific designs or information. This comprehensive process transforms textile waste into functional and usable paper products. Utilizing textile waste in papermaking presents notable advantages, including environmental friendliness and reduced reliance on chemicals. It also encourages a sustainable practice that can be easily adopted in household settings using readily available tools and materials. However, challenges arise from escalating raw material costs, limited flexibility in pricing, and substantial overheads encompassing rent, labour, electricity, and infrastructure expenses. This study offers comprehensive documentation of the papermaking process from textile waste, emphasizing its potential as an eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to traditional paper production methods. By addressing both its advantages and challenges, this research aims to contribute to a more informed and conscientious approach to paper production within the fashion and textiles industry.

Polymers are macromolecules which are composed of structurally similar repeated units of monomers. Natural polymers are the ones that are obtained from natural origins like plants, animals or micro-organisms. Natural polymers are widely used in pharmaceutical and biomedical industries and their applications are growing at a fast pace as the basic knowledge of polymers helps us to know the function of drug products and also to develop new formulations or better delivery systems. Natural polymers are more advantageous than synthetic polymers as they are economical, non-toxic and abundantly available in nature. Natural polymers can be used to formulate dosage forms where the drug is designed to release a pre-deteremined rate. They can be widely used in pharmaceutical dosage forms as binders, matrix formers or drug release modifiers, film coating formers, thickeners or viscosity enhancers, stabilizers, disintegrants, solubilisers, emulsifiers, suspending agents, gelling agents and bioadhesives. In this article, source, purification, properties, pharmaceutical applications of such natural polymers have been discussed.

Disintegrating agents are super helpful in tablets. They help break up the compacted mass so the active ingredients can dissolve or release when in contact with fluids. The most important function of disintegrants is resist the ability of the tablet binder and bodily forces that act below compression to structure the tablet. Superdisintegrants provide rapid dissolution disintegration because of blended impact of swelling and water absorption. Superdisintegrants promotes the wettability and dispersibility of the machine, as a consequence increasing the disintegration and dissolution. One gram of superdisintegrants absorb 10-40 gm of water or liquid solution. After the absorption it produce pressure and leads to the entire tablet shape to break a side. Their particles are typically tiny and porous, which permit for fast tablet disintegration inside the mouth without an objectionable mouth-sense from either large particles or gelling. The debris are also compressible which enhance the tablet hardness and its friability. Powerful superdisintegrants offer advanced compressibility, compatibility and don't have any negative impact on the mechanical strength of formulations containing excessive-dose drug. Great disintegrating tablets are novel drug delivery system that dissolves, break into small particle's or dispersed the active pharmaceutical elements in saliva inside few seconds with or with out consumption of water. The quicker the dissolution of drug into the answer, quicker is the absorption and onset of medical effect

Ayurveda is a 'science of life' which provides not only curatives but also Preventive principle for healthy and long life of human beings. Vata, Pitta, and Kapha are Tridoshas which are responsible for health and disease depending on their normalcy and disequilibrium state. Among Trido?ha, Vata is responsible for all Che??a and all disease. Abnormal Vata performs various afflictions to the body, thereby it produces various Vatavyadhi. When this deranged Vata lodges in Sandhi, it is characterized by pain, swelling and restriction of joint movements. Commonly this Sandhigata vata manifests in Janusandhi, which is a Marma and one among the most important weight bearing joints in body and it leads to Janusandhigata Vata. Janusandhigata vata is a Shoola and Shotha Pradhana Vatavyadhi affecting locomotor system and leaving the person disable and make him unable to do his daily routine activity. In contemporary medical science the similar condition of joint is explained as Osteoarthritis. Because it also produces the features such as, pain, inflammation, stiffness, limited movements and deformity in severe cases. Osteoarthritis is most common form of arthritis and also called degenerative joint disease. Due to similarities in signs and symptoms, it can be very much correlated to Janusandhigata Vata. The disease is managed by NSAIDs, Analgesic drugs, physiotherapy and corticosteroids etc. Above drugs are very costly and cause unwanted side effects. Even surgical treatment does not provide complete relief. Considering these facts, any new addition of herbal drugs in the clinical armamentarium is most welcome. Pancha Tikta Ksheer Basti and Janu Dhara (Local application) are believed to have appreciable role in the management of such degenerative conditions by imparting strength to the body musculature and nervous system. Research study was carried out on 45 clinically diagnosed patients of Janusandhigata Vata. Total duration of Treatment was 48 days with the regular follow up every fort night up to 2 months for observing any side effect of drugs and symptomatic evaluation
