The position of Union Territories before 1956 were characterised as Part- C States. The States Re-organisation Commission in its report submitted in 1955 had suggested that, the Part-C States be converted into centrally administered territories. The Seventh Constitutional Amendment Act has abolished the Part-C States and created new Union Territories. The Union Territories are administered directly by the Central Executive. The administrator is appointed by the Executive with such designation as he may specify. Governor of a State may also be appointed as the Administrator of a Union Territories adjoining to that State. The Administrator may act under the orders of the President of India.

The growth and financial stability of the country depends on the financial soundness of its banking sector. Camel approach is a significant tool to assess the relative financial strength of a bank. And also,to suggest necessary measures to improve weaknesses of a bank. In India, RBI adopted this approach in 1996 followed on the recommendations of Padmanabham Working Group (1995) committee. In the present study, an attempt has been made to evaluate the financial soundness of Jharkhand Gramin Bank. For the purpose of ranking, CAMEL MODEL approach has been applied, incorporating important parameters like Capital Adequacy, Assets Quality, Management Efficiency, Earnings Quality and Liquidity. The finding of the study shows that..

Social entrepreneurship has become the buzz word in India and around the world. People have found this concept of philanthropy a bit intriguing in nature. It has the best mixture of social service and entrepreneurship; this combination makes it most attractive and so unique in nature. Usually entrepreneurship is related to economic activities and being ruthlessly profit making and ignoring social benefits or societal wellbeing. In the present era of heavy industrialization and economic growth, societal gains have taken back seat or even out of the sight all around the world, including India, with the concept of social entrepreneurship rising in India and around the world has helped in serving the society in more meaningful manner than ever before along with living the spirit of entrepreneurship with its fullest.economic entrepreneurship focuses on economic need, on the other hands, social entrepreneurship focuses on social needs.Social entrepreneurship has increased its scope and importance in recent years, this paper also includes both areas as well. At last, how social entrepreneurship can change or impact on the social setup and social fibre in India and other developed nations specifically at the bottom of the pyramid level is also underlined in this research paper.

The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of addition of glass powder and glass fibre on the various characteristics of concrete. Glass is one of the admixtures which is used many forms in everyday life. In shops, broken glass sheets &flat solid cuttings square measure move to waste, that aren't recycled at the present and typically delivered to landfills for disposal. This project examines the effect of replacement of fine aggregates with glass powder and glass fibres on the mechanical properties of concrete and Fine aggregates were replaced by waste glass powder as 0-15% and glass fibres as 0 - 3% by weight for M50 mix then the Compressive strength, tensile strength and modulus of elasticity at 7 to 28 days of age were compared with those of concrete made with natural fine aggregates. It has been observed that glass fibre reinforced concrete has greater strength than glass powder mixed concrete, and that the strength of mixes increases significantly when glass fibre is used. Using glass powder in concrete is an intriguing option for saving money on waste disposal sites while also contributing to a greener environment.

Softboards are commonly used for non-structural applications due to their poor mechanical property and higher water absorption. With the help of phenolic resin impregnation, we can make it more moistureproof and stronger. Phenolic resin impregnation improves the physical, mechanical strength properties and dimensional stabilization of the softboard. The improved properties of this low-density fibreboard can be utilized as a substitute for other engineered wood boards. Which will help to hinder the overexploitation of widely used natural timber resources sustainably by enabling the utilization of most underused timber species.

More than 60% of Indians are depended on agriculture and State Government for development of agricultural sector has accorded high priority to elevate and boost rural economy. Multipurpose agro machine being important input to agriculture, endless efforts are being made to assure availability of quality foods grains to farmers in order to sustain the agricultural development and best vegetables to consumer end. In the present situation, the demand of quality multipurpose agro machine is very high and here in this paper proposedplanting machine will be more helpful to this industry. In view of above, the work has been carried out with the objective to produce quality sugar through scientific methods and adopting suitable processing methods through development of multipurpose planting machine. The paper presents theoretical aspects regarding the kinematics and dynamics of the planting machine and characteristics are implemented all that is required to sowing and planting of multipurpose, which includes tilling, planting, fertilizing and ditching of soil all process in a single operation. The outlook and prediction of high growth of crop of cultivators are very high because intensive soil cultivation requires consistency and reliability. In the meanwhile, cultivators are also expected to work smoothly and cultivate large areas. IN this paper design competes with all these expectations to aid cultivators. They intensively tilt the soil while destroying annoying clods. The soil thus becomes loose and can be used for crease forming and create the basis for a harvest with a higher yield. The prototype model can be converted to full width cultivators with a few manual actions to planting.

Ionic gelation was used to create sodium alginate and gum ghatti (GG) bio adhesive beads containing metformin HCl for orally usage. A 32 factorial design has been used to evaluate the effects of gum ghatti concentration and HPMC K100M concentration on the bead size (mm) and % Drug release after 12 hours (DR % ) of ionotropic ally gelled sodium alginate and gum ghatti muco-adhesive beads containing metformin HCl. CCD is utilised for this, and response surface methodology (RSM) is used. The optimized sodium alginate beads had a bead size of 1.2mm to 1.45mm and a DR of 79 % to 91 % after 12 hours. The in-vitro release of metformin HCl from these ionotropic ally-gelled SA-GG beads lasted for 12 hours and followed a zero-order model. The improved mucoadhesive beads also have good muco-adhesive properties with biological mucosal membranes and follow pH-dependent swelling.

Agitation speed is a determining factor in power consumption and mixing quality, which determines conse-quently the cost of mixing operation. This study explores the fluid flow velocity and power required for achieving the mixing operation in stirred tank by using PIV technique. The mixing system consists of a cylindrical tank with a flat bottom and an up-pumping 4-Wide-blade Hydrofoil impeller (WHU). The diameter of the vessel, the diameter of the impeller, and the vertical clearance of the bottom were 0.192 m, 0.075 m, and 0.064 m, respectively. Water liquid is used as a working fluid (density ? = 997 [kg/m3], different shaft positions, (0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%,) away from the center of the tank. Fluorescent particles were also used to measure axial and radial velocities for the liquid phase. PIV measurements showed that the velocity increases by approximately 50% in the tank with the most eccentric shaft that means we can reduce the power consumption 50% in a vessel stirred by 4-Wide-blade Hydrofoil impeller (WHU).

Topology is a discipline of mathematics in which two objects are regarded equal if they may be continually deformed into one another through motions in space such as bending, twisting, stretching, and shrinking without preventing tearing apart or gluing together sections. Differentiable equations, dynamical systems, knot theory, and Riemann surfaces in complex analysis are all examples of topology in mathematics. It's also used in physics to describe the universe's space-time structure and in string theory. The branch of mathematics known as topology studies continuity and related notions. Open and closed sets, continuity, and homeomorphism are only a few of the essential concepts that will be introduced in the near future.
