Minimizing the cost of stabilization and improving the swell-shrink behavior & strength of expansive soils are major concerns to geotechnical engineers dealing with construction project over problematic soils. Expansive soil has tremendous strength but it become soft when came into contact with water, it expands during wet condition and shrinks in dry condition because of its mineralogical composition. The stability of structure is majorly influenced by expansive soils. Structures failures due to swell-shrink behavior of expansive soil are reported by many countries. This project is to improve the behavior of such soil by chemical stabilization using Fly Ash and Corex slag and Blast Furnace Slag - industrial waste used to mitigate the problems associated with expansive soil, as well as to solve the disposal problem caused by this waste which is a big environmental issue now a days, considering sustainable approach.

Descriptive-survey study was conducted to find out the Perception of using Technology for teaching among the Faculties of Higher Education Namakkal District. A sample of 750 Faculties from various discipline was selected by convenience sampling technique. To collect the data, Perception of using Technology for teaching (PTT) were used which was designed and constructed by Dr.K.Saileela. PTT Scale consists of 17 items with responses Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree and Strongly disagree 1. The Cronbach coefficient alpha for raw score variables for the PTT Scale was 0.94. indicates best level of reliability of PTT Scale. The data was collected with the help of Google forms. The data were analyzed using the statistical techniques like Percentage analysis, Mean, Standard Deviation. In this study we could find that Faculties have high level (M=54.45, S. D=7.51, N=750, Maximum=68) of Perception of using Technology for Teaching

The development of transportation is one of the land marks in the progress of human life. Transportation means the physical movement of persons and goods from one place to another. It plays a very important role in the economic development of a nation. It is the ‘Key link’ between the production and other marketing functions. India has one of the world’s largest railway and roadway network operating millions of the people every year. The aim of the study is to compare the recent development and facilities between the road and rail transport.

The position of Union Territories before 1956 were characterised as Part- C States. The States Re-organisation Commission in its report submitted in 1955 had suggested that, the Part-C States be converted into centrally administered territories. The Seventh Constitutional Amendment Act has abolished the Part-C States and created new Union Territories. The Union Territories are administered directly by the Central Executive. The administrator is appointed by the Executive with such designation as he may specify. Governor of a State may also be appointed as the Administrator of a Union Territories adjoining to that State. The Administrator may act under the orders of the President of India.

The growth and financial stability of the country depends on the financial soundness of its banking sector. Camel approach is a significant tool to assess the relative financial strength of a bank. And also,to suggest necessary measures to improve weaknesses of a bank. In India, RBI adopted this approach in 1996 followed on the recommendations of Padmanabham Working Group (1995) committee. In the present study, an attempt has been made to evaluate the financial soundness of Jharkhand Gramin Bank. For the purpose of ranking, CAMEL MODEL approach has been applied, incorporating important parameters like Capital Adequacy, Assets Quality, Management Efficiency, Earnings Quality and Liquidity. The finding of the study shows that..

Social entrepreneurship has become the buzz word in India and around the world. People have found this concept of philanthropy a bit intriguing in nature. It has the best mixture of social service and entrepreneurship; this combination makes it most attractive and so unique in nature. Usually entrepreneurship is related to economic activities and being ruthlessly profit making and ignoring social benefits or societal wellbeing. In the present era of heavy industrialization and economic growth, societal gains have taken back seat or even out of the sight all around the world, including India, with the concept of social entrepreneurship rising in India and around the world has helped in serving the society in more meaningful manner than ever before along with living the spirit of entrepreneurship with its fullest.economic entrepreneurship focuses on economic need, on the other hands, social entrepreneurship focuses on social needs.Social entrepreneurship has increased its scope and importance in recent years, this paper also includes both areas as well. At last, how social entrepreneurship can change or impact on the social setup and social fibre in India and other developed nations specifically at the bottom of the pyramid level is also underlined in this research paper.

The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of addition of glass powder and glass fibre on the various characteristics of concrete. Glass is one of the admixtures which is used many forms in everyday life. In shops, broken glass sheets &flat solid cuttings square measure move to waste, that aren't recycled at the present and typically delivered to landfills for disposal. This project examines the effect of replacement of fine aggregates with glass powder and glass fibres on the mechanical properties of concrete and Fine aggregates were replaced by waste glass powder as 0-15% and glass fibres as 0 - 3% by weight for M50 mix then the Compressive strength, tensile strength and modulus of elasticity at 7 to 28 days of age were compared with those of concrete made with natural fine aggregates. It has been observed that glass fibre reinforced concrete has greater strength than glass powder mixed concrete, and that the strength of mixes increases significantly when glass fibre is used. Using glass powder in concrete is an intriguing option for saving money on waste disposal sites while also contributing to a greener environment.

Softboards are commonly used for non-structural applications due to their poor mechanical property and higher water absorption. With the help of phenolic resin impregnation, we can make it more moistureproof and stronger. Phenolic resin impregnation improves the physical, mechanical strength properties and dimensional stabilization of the softboard. The improved properties of this low-density fibreboard can be utilized as a substitute for other engineered wood boards. Which will help to hinder the overexploitation of widely used natural timber resources sustainably by enabling the utilization of most underused timber species.

In situ gels have been considered as promising drug delivery system for Ketorolac Tromethamine, since they have been shown to sustain the drug release up to 7 hours. The main objective of this study was to prepare and characterize in situ gel of Ketorolac Tromethanine. Gels were prepared using Sodium Alginate as the Ion Sensitive polymer and HPMC K4M, as viscosity Enhancer using the Ion Gelation method. Central composite experimental design was employed for the optimization of the effect of independent variables on the response (Viscosity, and % drug diffusion). Gels were evaluated for clarity, appearance, Gelling Capacity, and their performance in vitro and ex vivo using Franz diffusion cell. According to the findings of this research, an in situ gel of Ketorolac Tromathamine could be considered as a conceivable drug delivery system for treatment of post-surgical swelling.

The study investigated the problems teaching English for visually impaired students in special education institutions in the Asir area, Saudi Arabia and revealed the statistically significant differences due to level of qualification and teaching experience. The study sample consisted of (180) male and female teachers. A questionnaire was prepared to measure the level of work stress among teachers, and it consisted of (29) items. The results showed that the problems teaching English for visually impaired students were at a high level on the dimensions as a whole. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the variables' level of qualification and teaching experience.
