In the quality of life of rural people is the important agenda of rural development programme. In India so many people living in rural areas, rural development programme is necessary aspect. Rural development implies both the economic betterment of people as well as greater social transformation. The basic objective of all rural development endeavours / programmes has been the welfare of the millions. In order to achieve this, planned attempts have been made to eliminate poverty, ignorance and inequality of opportunities. Rural development is a dynamic process, which is mainly concerned with the rural areas. These include agricultural growth, putting up of economic and social infrastructure, fair wages as also housing and house sites for the landless, village planning, public health, education and functional literacy, communication etc. The Community Development programme was launched during the first five-year plan period to reach as much as rural poor as possible through developmental activities. Drought Prone Areas in India have continued to suffer from chronic instability of weather, crop production and consequential economic burden, necessitating for an immediate need to evolve a strategy of development to mitigate these conditions. The food for works programme was started in the year 1977-78, as a non-plan scheme to augment the funds of the state Government for the maintenance of public work. The concept of the Minimum Needs programme (MNP) emerged and crystallized out of the experience of the previous plans that neither growth nor social consumption could be sustained much less accelerated without being mutually supportive. After independence, recognizing the importance of irrigation to boost up crop production, quite a good number of Major and Medium Irrigation Projects were taken up in the country. Many more were taken up in subsequent stages. The NREP programme was launched in October 1980 and became a regular plan programme right from April, 1981. MGNREGA is one of the largest work guarantee programmes in the world. The primary objective of the scheme is to guarantee 100 days of employment in every financial year to adult members of any rural household willing to do public work-related unskilled manual work.

Background: Adolescence represents the transitional period linking childhood to adulthood and involves physical, biological and psychological changes in a girl. The adolescent and young adult years are a time of both change and stability. Adolescence begins with puberty & extend from 12 to 20 years of age. Menstruation is the cyclic uterine bleeding experienced by the most of the women of reproductive age. Normal menstruation represents the cyclic shedding of the uterine secretary endometrial because of a decline in estradiol and progesterone production caused by a regressing corpus luteum. Method: A pre-experimental research design was used present study. Total sample for the study used were 60 subjects with pain during menstruation by convenient sampling technique. The tools used to collect the data in the study were Numerical pain assessment scale. The data was collected from subject in selected High School Kawar Kishtwar, after explaining them the purpose of study. Findings: In pre-test 50(83.3%) sample had moderate pain, 10(16.7%) had severe pain whereas 0(0%) had mild and no pain respectively. In post-test 27(45%) sample had mild pain, 23(38.3%) had moderate pain,9(15%) had no pain whereas 1(1.7%) had severe pain after intervention respectively. Mean in post-test (2.3) was lower than mean in pre-test (5.1). Calculated p value is .000001 which showed the significant difference between posttest pain level and pretest pain level. This study shows that muscle relaxation technique is useful in pain during menstruation among adolescent girls facing dysmenorrhea

Heterocyclic compounds can be used as therapeutic agents. Indole is an important class of heterocyclic compound containing nitrogen with wide variety of biological activities. Isatin is a derivative of indole which is indole-2, 3 Dione. Isatin is reported for anti- tubercular activity. Quinoline is also reported for various biological activities. So, a scheme was designed and isatin incorporated quinoline hybrids were prepared to improve biological activity. In the present research isatin incorporated quinoline (7a, 7b, 7c and 7d) were prepared, and were characterized by using TLC, IR, NMR and MASS spectral data. They were evaluated for anti-tubercular activity. Among those derivatives, compound 7a and 7b showed good activity.

Abaqus/FEA was developed originally to solve complex problems by numerical methods in solid mechanics. FEA is the most widely used and versatile technique for simulating deformable solids. This paper gives an overview of the Abaqus software which is required to understand the FEA implementation for solid mechanics' problems. The physical behaviours of mechanical structures or systems are analysed, and the minimum potential energy principle is used to develop element models. The procedures for FEA modelling are discussed for a few of classic solid mechanics' problems such as foundation, plane stress, plane strain, modal analysis, as well as fatigue analysis.

Background: Several activities in day to day involving upper limb require good hand grip strength. A reliable evaluation of hand grip forms an integral part of rehabilitation, not only to assess the strength muscles involves in gripping but also to apply as a tool in rehabilitating patients with variable level of hand injuries. Various sports require some degree of grip strength which improves the performance and play a key role in preventing overall injuries relevant to forearm and hand. Since the hand grip is considered to be affected by variation in carrying angle. The acute angle produced medially when the axis of the forearm deviates laterally from the long axis of the humerus, with the arm extended and palm facing forward, is referred as carrying angle. Average value of carrying angle in male is 5-10 and slightly greater in female being 10-15. If this angle is >15 it is called cubitus valgus whereas if it is <5 it is called cubitus varus.

Flurbiprofen is a minimal solubility, greater permeability non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication classified as BCS class II drug. To enhance the drug's physicochemical properties, pharmaceutical co-crystals of Flurbiprofen were made with arginine as the co-crystal former. Flurbiprofen co-crystals were successfully prepared using the solvent drop grinding process. IR spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, and X-ray diffraction were used to validate the integrity and uniformity of all proposed crystal structures. When compared to pure active pharmaceutical component, co-crystals with arginine exhibited a greater powder dissolving rate (API). When compared to the pure active pharmaceutical ingredient, co-crystals of flurbiprofen with arginine demonstrated a 5.2 times gradual increase in solubility. Co-crystals are an evolving approach for modifying and enhancing physicochemical aspects of drugs to improve their medicinal effects, as per the research.

Minimizing the cost of stabilization and improving the swell-shrink behavior & strength of expansive soils are major concerns to geotechnical engineers dealing with construction project over problematic soils. Expansive soil has tremendous strength but it become soft when came into contact with water, it expands during wet condition and shrinks in dry condition because of its mineralogical composition. The stability of structure is majorly influenced by expansive soils. Structures failures due to swell-shrink behavior of expansive soil are reported by many countries. This project is to improve the behavior of such soil by chemical stabilization using Fly Ash and Corex slag and Blast Furnace Slag - industrial waste used to mitigate the problems associated with expansive soil, as well as to solve the disposal problem caused by this waste which is a big environmental issue now a days, considering sustainable approach.
