This academic discourse examines the progressive evolution of village governance in Mizoram, focusing its analysis on the transition from hereditary chieftainship to democratically established Village Councils. Established within the legislative context provided by the Lushai Hills District (Village Councils) Act of 1953, this evolution replaced the centralized authority of chieftains with participatory mechanisms that represented grassroots democratic principles. The research elucidates how the dissolution of chieftainship signified not merely a political restructuring but also engendered a significant sociological transition, effectively dismantling established hierarchies, redistributing power, and empowering the general populace of villagers. Since that time, Village Councils have assumed a crucial role in reconfiguring leadership paradigms, promoting inclusivity through electoral participation, and ingraining democratic values within the fabric of community existence. By scrutinizing this pivotal transformation, the article accentuates the capacity of indigenous tribal institutions to adapt to contemporary governance norms while concurrently safeguarding cultural identity.

This paper examines the posthuman themes in Never Let Me Go (2005) by Kazuo Ishiguro by scrutinizing the novel's critique of the limitations and moral dilemmas inherent in a posthuman society. It aims to investigate the tension between the characters' acceptance of their predestined fate and their quest for meaning in a world that regards them as mere instruments for survival. The paper contextualizes Never Let Me Go within the broader framework of posthumanist thought and delves into the ways in which clones created for organ donation redefine love, identity, and selfhood, thereby highlighting the ethical implications of cloning. The paper focuses on how the clones' relationships and emotions are shaped by their biological purpose and reveals a nuanced portrayal of posthumanism where humanity is explored through the lens of the non-human. These insights emphasize the novel's critical engagement with ethical dilemmas in a world that is increasingly defined by biotechnology and the reimagining of what it means to be human. Ultimately, the paper concludes that Ishiguro's novel urges readers to reconsider the ethics of bioengineering and the future of human life in an increasingly technologized world and offers a nuanced reflection on the intersection of humanity and posthumanity.

Amish Tripathi's bestselling Shiva Trilogy is not merely a mythological retelling; it is a complex tapestry woven with intricate socio-economic and political theories. This paper delves into the multifaceted socio-economic landscape of the trilogy, examining the contrasting ideologies of the seemingly utopian Meluha and the liberal Swadeep. It critically analyses the trilogy's exploration of the caste system, presenting both a meritocratic ideal and its eventual decay into a rigid, birth-based hierarchy. Furthermore, this paper investigates the central role of the divine drink, Somras, as a critical economic resource that shapes foreign policy, fuels conflict, and precipitates an ecological crisis. Through a close reading of the novels and an engagement with secondary scholarly sources, this research argues that Tripathi uses the mythological narrative to critique and comment on contemporary socio-economic issues, including social stratification, environmental degradation, and the perpetual tension between individual liberty and state control. The paper also explores the portrayal of gender roles and the status of marginalized communities, such as the Nagas, to highlight the author's engagement with themes of social justice and inclusivity. Ultimately, this research posits that the Shiva Trilogy serves as a modern-day parable, employing ancient narratives to provoke thought on the ideal societal structure and the inherent complexities of its practical implementation.

CBIR (Content-Based Image Retrieval) is significant in various applications, including digital asset management, medical diagnosis, and surveillance, in which images must be retrieved based on visual content. Conventional CBIR methods rely on handcrafted features or CNN when essentially low-level spatial information is acquired, while the model may not describe the long-range dependencies and contextual semantics. Recent progress with Transformer-based models has shown enhanced contextual representation; however, these models typically ignore pixel-level features, which may provide incomplete representations and degrade retrieval performance. To overcome those limitations, this study presents HybridCBIRNet, a new hybrid deep learning framework that leverages the advantages of CNNs and Transformers via a weighted feature fusion mechanism. The CNN part is meant for hierarchically extracting spatial features, and the Transformer module provides global contextual information. The complementary representations are fused to produce a rich and discriminative feature embedding. Moreover, the system incorporates an Explainable AI (XAI) module that offers image retrieval interpretability, making it more applicable in sensitive areas. The proposed framework is validated on the Mini ImageNet dataset. It shows the best performance compared to the other existing methods with an accuracy of 97.25%, precision of 96.80%, recall of 97.10%, and mAP of 97.00%. These findings confirm the strength of the hybrid feature representation and verify the model's capacity to harvest highly similar images. That is because accuracy and robustness across different categories of images are essential features for them. HybridCBIRNet improves long-tail classification, which can act as a solution to real-world applications of CBIR that require accuracy and transparency.

E-governance plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of government services, which are being increasingly driven by digital transformation initiatives worldwide. Despite substantial investments, governments face challenges in integrating fragmented datasets, resolving inconsistencies across departments, and scaling services to meet the growing demands. This study explores the potential of Semantic Web technologies, specifically the Resource Description Framework (RDF) and Web Ontology Language (OWL), in addressing these challenges by enabling structured, interoperable, and machine-readable datasets. By leveraging semantic reasoning, data exchange protocols, and ontology-driven automation, RDF and OWL enhance interoperability, foster informed decision-making, and facilitate intelligent governance solutions. The proposed framework aligns with global initiatives, such as Open Government Data and Smart City programs, as well as suitable and long-term development goals, promoting accountable and citizen-centric governance in the process. Through experimental use cases, architectural design, and a review of the existing literature, this study demonstrates the feasibility and transformative impact of integrating Semantic Web technologies into government systems, thereby contributing to more transparent, efficient, and inclusive public services.

This study examines the narrative and thematic similarities between the ancient Indian epic the Mahabharata and W.H. Auden's poem "The Shield of Achilles," "September 1, 1939," with an emphasis on how they both depict battle. With a focus on the dehumanizing consequences of dogma and tyranny, Auden's poem offers a meditation on the moral deterioration of civilization during the start of World War II. On the other hand, the Mahabharata offers a mythical picture of cosmic combat in which mortal fighters must resolve moral quandaries within the confines of cosmic order and divine will. Both narratives examine issues of responsibility, morality, and the effects of violence while having different literary traditions and cultural backgrounds. One learns more about the universal human experience of conflict and the ongoing battle to balance personal morality with the dictates of history and fate via this comparative analysis. The Mahabharata and Auden both explore the complexity of human struggle, touching on issues like moral ambiguity, the effects of bloodshed, and the existential crises brought on by battle. The Mahabharata and W.H. Auden's war narratives are compared, and the results provide important new perspectives on the moral complexity of war and the state of humanity

This research paper rigorously traces the continuous evolution of non-human political allegory in South Asian literature--from its inception as a prescriptive niti (manual for royal conduct) in antiquity to its contemporary function as a tool of institutional critique under neoliberalism. Rejecting ecological interpretations, the study focuses exclusively on the allegory's critical use against systems of governance, bureaucracy, and entrenched class hierarchy. Through close readings of The Panchatantra, R.K. Narayan's A Tiger for Malgudi, Ruskin Bond's The Adventures of Toto, and Aravind Adiga's The White Tiger, the analysis applies classical Indian poetics--Dhvani (suggestive meaning) and Rasa (aesthetic experience)--as indigenous theoretical lenses to understand the allegorical evolution of animal figures. This trajectory details the animal subject's shift from instructing rulers to symbolizing psychological subjugation and violent resistance, with institutional and class critique as its constant and central focus.

This paper examines Virginia Woolf's To the Lighthouse as a critique of patriarchal constructions of parenthood, foregrounding the tension between maternal presence and paternal authority. Through the figures of Mr. Ramsay and Mrs. Ramsay, Woolf interrogates the Victorian ideals of fatherhood as intellectual dominance and motherhood as selfless nurturing. Drawing on feminist criticism, particularly the works of Rachel Bowlby, Nancy Paxton, and Kate Millett, the analysis demonstrates how Woolf exposes the psychological and emotional costs of these rigid roles. While Mrs. Ramsay embodies the silenced, sacrificial "angel in the house," her interior monologues reveal suppressed desires for autonomy. Conversely, Mr. Ramsay's authority, rooted in intellectual validation, underscores the insecurities of patriarchal power. By juxtaposing these parental figures, Woolf destabilizes gender binaries and suggests that true authority emerges not from dominance but from emotional resonance, creativity, and interdependence.

Indian classical music is one of the finest music styles in the world, which has had a profound impact on people since the Vedic era. People adored and admired Indian classical music, and they were very curious to listen as an audience and learn as students. This paper discusses how Indian classical music was taught in the earlier days in the Gurukul system in ashrams, and as the days passed, a face-to-face institutional setup was arranged, and music was taught in such a format. Later, due to the emergence of technology and globalization, people started migrating to different places in the world, leaving their culture in their home country. After some time in the early 21st century, Non-Resident Indians who migrated from India for a better future, settling abroad, wanted to follow Indian culture and traditions, which they were missing. So, they decided to take the help of technology and feel at home by following their cultures and traditions. Music, being a part of Indian culture and traditional heritage, was also a favorite activity, which they want to keep with them by learning traditional music from India from their beloved gurus and teachers. This paper includes and concludes how technology gave a helping hand to people who resided abroad or away from their guru and pursued music enthusiastically. What are the benefits and challenges faced in learning through virtual mode in the initial stages of emerging technology versus now? Also, apart from the different software and apps developed for music learning, what are the latest developments in tools of learning through AI that will be discussed to make this review paper useful for future researchers regarding the application of technology in music art.

Jawaharlal Nehru's leadership from 1947 to 1964 established a defining foreign policy for India. Centered on the principles of non-alignment, peaceful coexistence, and solidarity with the newly independent nations of the Third World, this approach fundamentally shaped India's identity and role on the global stage. The foreign policy framework enacted under Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru (1947-1964) was a cornerstone of India's post-independence identity. Its foundational doctrines-namely, non-alignment, peaceful coexistence, and Third World solidarity-were instrumental in determining India's international posture and diplomatic relationships during this formative period. During the pivotal Nehruvian Era (1947-1964), India's global stance was shaped by a unique diplomatic philosophy. This approach, defined by a commitment to non-alignment, peaceful coexistence, and unity among developing nations, left a lasting imprint on the country's international position and legacy. Jawaharlal Nehru's idea of non-alignment and Narendra Modi's forceful and practical diplomacy represent major shifts in India's foreign policy. Here it will also focus on various kinds of things that's are very related to India's global transform. It will focus on Modi's era briefly and India's multi alignment strategy and diplomatic ties with various state and non state actors. It also focus India's foreign policies significance in shaping India's diplomatic identity and its role in the international arena.
