The present study investigates the perceptions of faculty members towards the operational efficiency of Government District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) in Andhra Pradesh. A descriptive research design was adopted to systematically describe and analyse the current status, prevailing conditions, and existing relationships among variables related to institutional functioning. The study aimed to understand how faculty members perceive various dimensions of operational efficiency, including institutional governance and leadership, infrastructure and resource management, academic planning and implementation, faculty development and engagement, and outreach, innovation, and impact. Data were collected from a sample of 108 teaching faculty members selected through a stratified random sampling technique from all 13 Government DIETs across the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh, ensuring comprehensive regional representation. The findings revealed that there was no significant difference in faculty perceptions of operational efficiency with respect to gender (male/female) and designation (principal/lecturer). This indicates that faculty members, irrespective of their demographic or professional characteristics, share similar views on the functioning and institutional efficiency of DIETs. The results highlight the importance of strengthening governance structures, resource utilization, and professional development initiatives to enhance the operational performance of DIETs. The study underscores the need for continued institutional support, leadership empowerment, and innovation to align DIET operations with the goals of quality teacher education envisioned in the National Education Policy (NEP, 2020).

Personal hygiene is focused on the improvement of person's health. Personal hygiene benefits health, looks, comfort of the person. Clean hands equal clean books and higher grades (Yalcin and Altin, 2004). This research could help the "Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation, Ministry of Education, World Food Programme (WFP)," and other development partners in charge of school-age children's education and wellness-structure mediations to enhance practices relating to nutrition. This study aims to investigate Secondary school students in the Uttar Pradesh district of Lucknow, India, regarding their awareness of personal hygiene and the many forms of cleaning practices. Everyone knows that children's health is directly related to personal cleanliness. As a result, this type of research is required in nearly every corner of the world. We are also making a little attempt in the Lucknow district to do such a study. In our study, we included 60 students, of which 30 were boys (50.0%) and 30 were girls (50.0%). The data was gathered using a questionnaire. This study aims to evaluate secondary school student's knowledge of personal hygiene and various hygiene practices. Abstract John Milton (09 December, 1608- 08 Nov, 1674) is a poet, playwright, politician, thinker civil servant as well as social reformer. He himself is a great literary man and politician. The entire age of Milton is dominated by Civil War. Intellectual life continued with vigor surprisingly in view of the purpose of church and universities. But Puritanism, the iron - rule of Cromwell became intolerant of all artistic activities. Music, dancing, theatrical arts suffered much. Moreover, theatres were closed and all artistic activity was banned. In such situation his consciousness awakened. As we know that the freedom of will is essential for creativity. And Milton's philosophy defended freedom of will. He believed that God has given reason to man to choose the right path. Men was free to choose between wrong and right path. His will was not constrained in any way. Since, he chooses freely with any constrained, man himself was responsible for all his fortunes and misfortunes. This paper explores the doctrine of the freedom of will in Paradise Lost. Satan was left free to tempt Adam and Eve because God had given freedom of will to all including Satan. In Paradise Lost freedom consciousness signifies a state of ideal existence where individuals are librated from fear, ignorance and societal divisions living with autonomy and united in knowledge. Adam's true spiritual freedom is found in his voluntary submission to God's Law of Reason while the "fall" into human condition can be seen as a fortunate event that allows for a "paradise within" to be discovered through the struggle of gaining and using reason.

Raja Rao (1908-2006), a pioneering Indian English novelist, masterfully navigates the terrains of home and hybridity in his narratives, reflecting the tensions between Western impact and native response in postcolonial India. His seminal works, Kanthapura (1938) and The Serpent and the Rope (1960), exemplify this dialectic: Kanthapura depicts a village's Gandhian uprising against colonial rule, blending oral traditions with modern nationalism, while The Serpent and the Rope explore Ramaswamy's spiritual quest across India and Europe, embodying Advaita Vedanta amid cultural fusions. Drawing on Homi Bhabha's hybridity, Rao's narratives subvert Western forms--English language, novel structure--to articulate native essence: "We cannot write like the English. We should not. We can write only as Indians" (Kanthapura, Foreword, p. v). Home emerges as metaphysical India, disrupted by colonial modernity, eliciting responses from passive mimicry to assertive reclamation. Through Moorthy's satyagraha in Kanthapura--"There is but one force in life and that is Truth" and Ramaswamy's philosophical wanderings--"The actual, the real has no name" (The Serpent and the Rope, p. 378)--Rao critiques Western materialism, advocating syncretic identities. This paper analyzes Rao's narrative world as a site of hybrid negotiation, contributing to postcolonial studies by highlighting how his fiction rewrites home as a resilient, transcultural space amid Western encroachments. In 2025's globalized era, Rao's vision underscores literature's role in forging decolonized selves.

The construction industry and concrete manufacturers have realized that they will need to use available aggregate rather than search for the perfect aggregate to make an ideal concrete suitable for all purposes. Simultaneously significant increase in the other construction materials production like steel will produce a lot of industrial waste such as used foundry sand. This can be used in the production of concrete for specific purposes. In this work, effects of utilization of used-foundry sand as partial replacement for regular sand (fine aggregate) in concrete were investigated. The data obtained in this investigation will be used to establish mixture proportions for concrete and construction applications

Staphylococcus aureus is a major opportunistic pathogen associated with a wide range of human infections, from minor skin lesions to severe systemic diseases. A key factor underlying its pathogenicity is the diverse set of toxins it produces. These toxins not only damage host tissues but also alter immune responses, allowing the bacterium to establish and sustain infections. The toxins of S. aureus can be broadly categorized into pore-forming toxins, superantigens, exfoliative toxins, and enterotoxins. Pore-forming toxins, including alpha-toxin and Panton-Valentine leukocidin (PVL), disrupt host cell membranes and cause cell death, contributing to necrotizing pneumonia, abscesses, and skin infections. Superantigens, such as toxic shock syndrome toxin-1 (TSST-1) and several enterotoxins, bypass normal immune regulation and trigger an exaggerated T-cell response, resulting in massive cytokine release. These are responsible for conditions like toxic shock syndrome and staphylococcal food poisoning. Exfoliative toxins (ETA and ETB) specifically degrade epidermal adhesion proteins, producing the blistering skin disorder known as staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome, particularly in neonates and children. Enterotoxins play a major role in foodborne outbreaks due to their ability to resist heat and digestive enzymes, making them stable contaminants in improperly handled food. In chronic infections, toxins also act within biofilms, sustaining local inflammation and protecting bacteria from host defenses. This adds to the difficulty of treating persistent infections and often contributes to antibiotic resistance, particularly in methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) strains. Regulation of toxin production is controlled by the accessory gene regulator (agr) system, which coordinates expression in response to bacterial density. Insights into these pathways have encouraged exploration of alternative therapeutic approaches, including toxin-neutralizing antibodies, small-molecule inhibitors, and vaccines. Such strategies may prove especially important as antibiotic resistance continues to rise. Overall, S. aureus toxins play a central role in disease pathogenesis by mediating tissue damage, immune modulation, and systemic complications. Their contribution to both acute and chronic conditions underscores their importance as therapeutic targets. A clearer understanding of their mechanisms and regulation not only advances knowledge of bacterial virulence but also supports the development of novel approaches to prevent and manage staphylococcal infections.

Anita Desai and Shashi Deshpande, the two pioneer female writers of India, are deeply concerned with the lives, struggles, and suffering of women, which has been beautifully shown in their novels like Cry, the Peacock, Fire on the Mountain, Where Shall We Go This Summar?, The Dark Holds No Terrors, and That Long Silence. The novels showed various problems faced by women in the society of that time. Along with this, it has also been seen that there is a lack of interpersonal communication between the main characters, which leads to poor mental health, feelings of isolation, reduced emotional support, misunderstanding, and conflicts. Communication is the exchanging of thoughts and feelings or sharing each other's problems and troubles that increases the elasticity between any relation. Both writers showed that the characters did not give importance to their communication skills. The gender domination also plays a key role in the communication gap among the various relations. In patriarchal society, men take the decision and impose it on others and don't think to concern themselves with their female partners, which shows negligence towards females. These negligence and unwillingness decrease the attachment, and hence the suppressed entity has to go through various issues. Through this article, I would like to focus on the importance of communication that might diminish various conflicts between Maya and Gautam, Nanda and Raka, Sita and Raman, Sarita and Manohar, and Jaya and Mohan.

The Organizational Life Cycle (OLC) is a theoretical framework that describes how organizations evolve through predictable stages of birth, growth, maturity, and decline, similar to the biological cycle of living beings. This study provides an in-depth exploration of OLC models, including classical frameworks proposed by Lippitt and Schmidt, Greiner, Adizes, and Miller & Friesen, along with contemporary adaptations such as Kazanjian's dynamic model and Phelps et al.'s "state" model. The paper highlights how each model conceptualizes organizational evolution, managerial challenges, and strategies for sustainability. Furthermore, the research explores the scope of OLC in various business domains, including finance, strategy, operations, and human resource management. By integrating theoretical perspectives with practical implications, this paper emphasizes that understanding the life cycle equips managers to optimize resources, improve organizational performance, anticipate crises, and adapt strategies to changing environments. The findings reaffirm that OLC models not only act as analytical tools but also serve as practical guides for long-term organizational survival and competitiveness.

Background & objectives: In order to meet the ambitious aim set by the Government of India as well as the sustainable development goals (SDG) target for eliminating tuberculosis in 2030, it is important for the healthcare providers to follow and support the patients throughout the treatment for its successful completion. For monitoring the tuberculosis treatment compliance, Digital Adherence Technologies (DATs) play a major role. DATs are digital tools that use mobile phone, computer, or sensor technologies to support the capture of detailed, daily, patient-specific adherence information. DATs provide opportunities for a more patient-centred care model and also help healthcare workers while treating tuberculosis (TB) patients when compared to traditional directly observed therapy. Hence, in this study explored the acceptance and barriers to the use of DATs for monitoring compliance with TB treatment and its possible solutions. Methods: A community-based qualitative study was done in two PHCs in Puducherry, India among TB patients who completed treatment, healthcare providers such as tuberculosis health visitors, staff nurses, and respective medical officers. Thirty participants were interviewed using purposive sampling to explore TB treatment outcomes over two months (Oct-Nov 2023). In-depth interviews were conducted with the help of a separate interview guide consisting of broad, open-ended questions with two primary stimulus questions based on the acceptance and barriers for use of DATs for capturing adherence to TB treatment. The possible solutions for the barriers to the use of DATs were also explored by the healthcare providers. Manual content analysis was done for the qualitative data. Interpretation & Conclusions: Identification of barriers and potential solutions in DATs can help in the successful monitoring and completion of tuberculosis treatment which are crucial towards achieving the tuberculosis elimination goal set by the Government of India as well as the SDG target for elimination by 2030.

D.H. Lawrence was deeply concerned with sex. He was abused as 'sex-maniac' by some and hailed as a liberator by others. He opposed all restraints on the sexual life- religious, moral or merely social- in so far as they were based on fear. He strongly believes that the proper norm of the human sexual relationship was the marriage for life. He opposed both the romantic idealization of sex and its opposite pole of sniggering lewdness. It was his conviction that sexual desire would be neither repressed nor sublimated because it would no longer be a base passion. He wished to rid mankind of the shame complex which leads many people to associate sex activity with indecency. He reacted against the misanthropy which seeks to make the body the prisoner of the mind. He deplored the modern dualism - the setting up of barriers between mind and body or between brain and blood. Lawrence was influenced by Freud's psychology and his psychology of man-woman relationship, more specifically his psychology of sexual relations. This paper tries to focus on the relationships between man and woman in different novels written by Lawrence. For the purpose of illustrations Lawrence's Sons and Lovers, Women in Love and Lady Chatterley's Lover may be taken into consideration.

The management of mandibular fractures has evolved considerably with the advent of rigid internal fixation. This review article provides a comprehensive synthesis of the last decade of literature, comparing the use of titanium and bioresorbable plates. We examine their distinct biomechanical properties, clinical outcomes, patient-reported satisfaction, and economic implications. While titanium remains the established benchmark due to its superior mechanical strength and reliability in complex, high-stress fractures, recent evidence suggests that resorbable plates are a viable, and often superior, alternative for specific indications. The primary advantage of resorbable systems is their ability to provide temporary fixation followed by complete absorption, thereby avoiding the need for a second surgery for hardware removal. The review concludes that the optimal choice of material is not universal but must be tailored to the specific fracture type, patient demographics, and surgeon's expertise, reflecting a shift towards a more personalized approach to care.

The history of Indian journalism reflects the nation's journey from colonial subjugation to independence and beyond. Emerging in the late 18th century with early publications such as Hickey's Bengal Gazette, journalism in India became a vehicle for political awakening, social reform, and cultural expression. Newspapers and periodicals not only disseminated news but also shaped public opinion, inspired nationalist movements, and provided a platform for reformers and freedom fighters to voice dissent. Post-independence, Indian journalism expanded into diverse languages, formats, and mediums, balancing its democratic responsibility with the challenges of commercialization, censorship, and technological transformation. This study offers a concise overview of key phases in Indian journalism, highlighting its enduring role in safeguarding democracy, promoting literacy, and reflecting the aspirations of society.

In the present research work, the aim was to successfully formulate solid dispersion and incorporate it into a fast-dissolving tablet of promethazine theoclate, which were reduce or prevent nausea and vomiting. The main objective of research work was to increase the solubility of poorly water-soluble promethazine theoclate by preparing solid dispersions and subsequently formulating them into fast dissolving tablets (FDTs) to improve patient compliance and convenience. Solid dispersions were prepared by the fusion method and solvent evaporation method using appropriate excipients. Among various formulations, batch B6 was selected as the best formulation because it showed excellent performance with a percentage yield of 95%, drug content of 98%, and dissolution drug release of 94% at 30 minutes. The selected batch B6 was further formulated into fast dissolving tablets, which exhibited a disintegration time of 12 seconds, and a drug release of 99% within 30 minutes. These results confirm that solid dispersion technologywas an effective approach to enhance the solubility and dissolution rate of promethazine theoclate, thereby providing better therapeutic efficiency and patient compliance.
