This study aimed to evaluate and compare the performance of athletes from three traditional sports in Haryana: kho-kho, kabaddi, and wrestling using a specific skill test. The comparative quantitative research design includes a sample of 150 players, 50 in each sport. The study employed systematic testing, and independent sample t-tests were utilized to analyze the data in order to assess variations in performance ratings. The results revealed that wrestlers and Kho-Kho players scored significantly higher than Kabaddi players, indicating that the physical and skill demands of these sports may aid in improving exam scores. Although the mean score difference between Kabaddi and Kho-Kho players was less, it was not statistically significant. These findings show how demands particular to a sport influence performance outcomes and highlight the need for more research to completely comprehend these effects.

The stability of the tear film is essential for a healthy visual system. Tear film instability could result in dysfunction of the conjunctiva and eyelids, a reduction in corneal transparency which produce several vision problems where dry eye syndrome is most common. The current case-control study was undertaken to determine relationship between serum cholesterol level and ocular tear film instability in general population of Nepal. This study was conducted on 20 hypercholesterolemic (case) and 20 age and sex matched control (normocholesterolemic) participants. In order to assess tear film instability, the Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI); Inter-blink interval (IBI) and Tear-film breakup time (TBUT) was evaluated. OSDI score was significantly higher (p<0.001) in the hypercholesterolemic participants than that of normocholesterolemic participants. However; TBUT and IBI were significantly lower in the hypercholesterolemic participants than that of control participants. This study showed that serum cholesterol profile parameters were significantly and positively correlated with Ocular Surface Disease Index score and negatively and significantly correlated with inter-blink interval and tear-film breakup time. This study also showed that total cholesterol, LDL and triglyceride had highest predictability of ocular tear film instability. The hypercholesterolemia may be induces pathological changes in the ocular surface including the conjunctival and corneal epithelia, and meibomian gland could contribute to abnormal meibum and unstable tear film overlying the ocular surface resulted in the occurrence of DED.

ABSTRACT Speech physiology delves into the intricate mechanisms of how human speech is produced, modified, and perceived, merging anatomical insights with functional dynamics. This review synthesizes contemporary research on the physiological processes underlying speech production, highlighting advancements in understanding the interaction between the respiratory, phonatory, articulatory, and resonatory systems. The respiratory system initiates speech by providing the essential airflow, controlled by the diaphragm and intercostal muscles. The phonatory system, anchored in the larynx and comprising the vocal cords, transforms this airflow into sound through vibratory action. The articulatory system--encompassing the tongue, lips, teeth, and palate--plays a crucial role in shaping the produced sound into intelligible speech sounds. Vaak Pravrutti (speech production) is one of the highest human activities and is suitable for expressing our thoughts and ideas on any subject. The process of speech begins with Shira. This order of thought is carried out from Vata to Vagendriya. Udanavayu plays an important role in speech. Mana is the Ubhayendriya who guides all Indriyas. It plays an important role in thinking. Speech depends on the coordination of the centers and organs. The development of speech involves the integration of important areas of the brain such as Wernicke's area, Broca's area and the motor area of the main hemisphere. Various aspects of speech production are discussed in this article from Ayurvedic and modern perspectives.

Sanawad city (9.42 sq.km) which is a subdivision headquarter is a small urban area of Madhya Pradesh state with population of 44,009. One of the problems created by road traffic in urban areas is parking. It has an impact on the overall transport development system .Vehicle requires sufficient street space to move and to park, where occupant can be loaded and unloaded. Traffic congestion and parking are synonymous to each other because failure to meet parking results in traffic congestion. With the growing population of motor vehicles the problem of parking has assumed serious proportions. The availability of less space in urban areas has increased the demand for parking space specially in central business areas. A systematic study of parking demand and characteristics are done for controlling parking activities which would be of help to the traffic engineer and town planner. Four major centers in arteries in the heart of Sanawad city which have insufficient parking space namely Triangle square to Mortakka Chauraha,Bharat Petrol Pump to Mortakka Chauraha, Subhash chowk to Vegetable market and Bus Station to Subhash Chowk . Extensive surveys are being done at these four places to determine the demand and supply of parking. To find the mean parking time of the vehicle, graphs are also plotted between cumulative parked vehicle and their parking duration. Parking demand model is also developed by regression analysis. To obtain a higher value of R2, linear and non-linear models are also used.
