 Abstract

Rail-Box a new form of renewable energy source refers to the generation of electricity by the rotation of wind turbine and the wind is caused due to the movement of train. The electricity will be produced or generated through the wind energy as train runs over the railroad tracks. The generated electric power is one of the non conventional sources of energy generated by moving train. This electrical energy generated can be stored in batteries and can be utilized for running various loads connected to train cabin. Rail-Box energy generation is a new attempt to generate the electricity via renewable energy sources which is the up thrust created by moving train.

 Abstract

1,2,3-oxadiazolium-5-olate (sydnone) is used as a versatile synthon in heterocyclic synthesis. A large number of sydnone derivatives have been synthesized with biological interest and reported to possess a wide spectrum of biological and pharmacological activities like antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic, antitumor, antiarthritic and antioxidant properties. Among all the mesoionic compounds, sydnone ring is the most widely studied because of each of its synthesis from primary amines and it is the only mesoionic ring which undergoes a wide variety of chemical reactions of synthetic utility. Syndones form a subclass of mesoionic compound which again form subclass of mesomeric betaines. These characterstic of five membered heterocyclic mesoionic compounds have encouraged concentration on the study of chemical, physical and biological properties of sydnones, as well as their potential applications. Thus there is wide scope to explore more novel sydnones as a potent biodynamic molecules.

 Abstract

This paper is an attempt to analyze the cyclone vulnerability and risk analysis for the north-coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh using an integrating disaster management approach. It is used to examine an expected casualty rate by considering prone area inundated due to the cyclone Hudhud for a wind speed of 190 kmph from outputs of storm surge, and also number of existing cyclone shelters as inputs. The results indicate that out of 470 villages in 4 north-coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh, the affected villages due to cyclone Hudhud are 237. According to analysis of vulnerability at risk, affected villages categorized into 4 classes as, low, medium, high and very high respectively. In the four north coastal districts, out of the total affected people, more than 10% of rural is at risk and 4.3% of urban is at high risk. Further, the findings show that the existing cyclone shelters (370) can accommodate only 6.7% of rural at risk and hence safe places shall be identified for the remaining 93.3% of rural is at risk. This analysis enables the officials involved in disaster management and rescue operations to concentrate on the identified affected villages of population at risk and also to identify safe places for evacuation during cyclone Hudhud.

 Abstract

Naphthalene is a widely used in industries and houses as a chemical in the form of mothballs. But it has been used rarely as an agent of poisoning worldwide. We describe a case of ingestional naphthalene poisoning with a good outcome after appropriate management. A 23-year-old girl ingested 10 mothballs, and presented three days later with haemolysis and methaemoglobinaemia. She was given intravenous methylene blue, N-acetylcysteine and ascorbic acid, as additional medication to routine supportive treatment. Renal replacement therapy in the form of Sustained low-efficiency dialysis [SLED] of around 7-8 hours was done on a daily basis. She was discharged after ten days on twice a week outpatient follow-up haemodialysis.

 Abstract

The diversity patterns and occurrence of benthic macro invertebrate families encountered in river Manimala which originates from the Muthavara hills near Peermade in Idukki district of the Kerala state was an approach conceded based on the knowledge of benthic macro invertebrates. The primary objective of this study was to identify the fresh water benthic macro invertebrates and to find out the biological water quality using BWQC developed by Central Pollution Control Board (New Delhi). The study also emphasizes the anthropogenic influences especially of pollution-sensitive organisms belonging to the order Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera and Tricoptera. A total of 163 individuals of aquatic insects belonging to 51 genera, 43 families were collected from the five stations of the River Manimala during pre monsoon and monsoon period. The highest species richness and abundance was observed in Elamkaadu top (Station 1) followed by Andayaar (Station 2) during monsoon and premonsoon respectively. The most dominant taxa found in this river were Cheumatopsyche. The rivers in Kerala is undergoing serious anthropogenic effects, the need to conserve the pollution sensitive organisms bears prime significance. Temporal/biological factors could have conceivably diminished the density of benthic communities, however the ever increasing population load, wetland filling, sand mining, encroachment of river banks have adversely affected the diversity of life forms.

 Abstract

Cryptocurrency is a digital currency wherein the coin ownership records are stored in a ledger existing in a form of a computerized database using strong cryptography to secure transaction records and control the creation of additional coins and verify the transfer of coin ownership. Nowadays cryptocurrencies are used on large scale and there is a sudden rise and or decrease in their share and it is difficult to predict the price of the cryptocurrency. In this project, a machine learning model is built to predict the price of the cryptocurrency. The application of data science process is applied for getting a better model for predicting the outcome. Variable identification and data understanding is the main process of building a successful model. Different machine learning algorithms are applied to the pre-processed data and the accuracy is compared to see which algorithm performed better other performance metrics like precision, recall, and score are also taken into consideration for evaluating the model. The Machine learning model is used to predict the cryptocurrency outcome.

Abstract: Chief-Minister Start-Up Scheme (CMSS) of Sikkim was started in the year 2017. The aims of the scheme are to give an emphasis is on giving employment opportunity as well as to enhance the entrepreneurial skill among the dropouts and the educated unemployed youth of the state. The Scheme provided financial assistance, with subsidies, to the individuals who are unable to start their particular business. The study is based on both primary data collected from the well-designed questionnaire and also on Secondary data and information which is collected from the Commerce and Industry Department, Government of Sikkim. To meet the objectives, the OLS Estimation, Regression analysis and Descriptive Statistics are being used. As per the analysis the maximum amount sectioned to individual is Rs. 20lakhs and Minimum Amount is Rs.470000. In the scheme CMSS, participation of the is male Population is 81.66 Percentage out of 100percent and Female Participation is 18.33 9ercent. Among all the activities more amount is sanctioned for Commercial Taxi. Maximum Net Income for beneficiaries is Rs.80000 Per month and minimum is Rs. 7000 per month generated through the scheme. As per the study the percentage of participation of senior secondary is 46 percent out of 100Percent which is highest and second is 32percent from Graduate, 15percent from high school and 7percent from postgraduates. By testing it has found that the education and age have high significance on the income generation. According to the Survey information found that maximum beneficiaries is among age group between 20-30years which means the young participation is more in the scheme. Among all, the total male employment generated under the scheme is 72.72percent and female employment is 27.22 percent. It is found that in both cases the participation as well as employment creation the male population is more than the female.

 Abstract

This paper proposes a contactless system for speed tracking to control the speed of electrical motor load. For contactless speed measurement, the Infra-Red (IR) sensor module is used to calculate the number of revolutions of rotor at every minute as pulses. Conventionally, the speed was detected using tachometer through direct contact process, however the accuracy gets affected due to vibrations caused and resolution varies abruptly. Hence, the contact less or non-contact approaches were evolved to achieve accurate speed tracking. In this work, the tracking scheme uses an IR sensor module to count the RPM pulses which is transmitted to Arduino Nano. After computational process of Arduino controller, the necessary suitable control action is initiated for the speed control of motor. Also, the computed Revolutions per Minute (RPM) speed is displayed in Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) board for direct user interface access. This contactless tachometer design facilitates the RPM calculation for a motor without any direct contact with the rotating object.
