The research paper under the title "Addressing Bias in Machine Learning Algorithms Used for AI in Healthcare" focuses on the problem of bias within/across machine learning (ML) algorithms applied to the sphere of healthcare. Incorporating artificial intelligence as a tool in diagnosing diseases and tailoring treatment for patients ratchets up the risk of the negative impacts of bias from these models, to women, coloured people, and other minorities. This paper also divides the major biases existing in the application of healthcare algorithms into selection bias, measurement bias and model bias. Such biases stem from using sketches and unbalanced data that are resulting in discriminated health care, wrong diagnosis, and late treatment for fragile groups of individuals. For example, several research works have indicated that issues of racism in algorithms mean that Black patients are less likely to be prompted to join high risk care programs than the white patient. To minimize such biases' effects, the authors recommend the following strategies; data variety through augmentation, algorithmic fairness, monitoring the AI models' operations, and making the algorithms more open. It also includes the ethical issues being concerned with whether it is equitable, for patient and public benefit, appropriate and transparent and in compliance with the necessary regulations to apply AI in the healthcare sector. According to the paper, there is a need to solve the problem of bias in the ML algorithm if the general healthcare system is to be made fair. When being fair, transparent, and representative the utilization of AI systems enhances patient experiences, increases general population trust in the AI, and is also in compliance with ethical and/or legal procedures.

Television advertising significantly impacts children's perceptions of self-esteem and body image, often portraying unrealistic standards that influence young viewers. This study examines how exposure to TV advertisements affects children's self-esteem and body image, assessing whether the portrayal of idealized beauty and body standards in ads contributes to negative self-perception among young audiences. A sample of 250 children aged 8 to 14 years from schools in Bhopal, India, was used for the study. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining structured questionnaires with focus group discussions to explore children's perceptions of body image influenced by TV ads. The study utilized statistical tools such as correlation and regression analysis to determine the relationship between ad exposure and self-esteem/body image perceptions. Findings reveal a significant negative correlation between exposure to TV ads and children's self-esteem, with frequent exposure to ads promoting beauty and fitness products linked to lower body satisfaction and self-worth. The study highlights the need for critical media literacy education and the promotion of diverse body representations in advertising to mitigate these effects. Future research should investigate long-term impacts and the role of parental guidance in moderating media influences on children's self-perception.

India's history, as recorded by foreign travelers and scholars who studied at its ancient Buddhist universities, offers a unique and detailed account of the country's cultural, intellectual and spiritual legacy. These outsiders, often pilgrims or students, played a critical role in documenting India's history during times when local records were scarce or lost. Prominent figures like Xuanzang, Faxian, and Al-Biruni journeyed to India, seeking knowledge and documenting their observations. Their works remain invaluable sources for understanding India's true, real, proper religious, academic and social structures, particularly during the Buddhist Era. Xuanzang, a 7th-century Chinese monk, is one of the most significant chroniclers of India's Buddhist period. He studied at the famed Nalanda University, an intellectual hub that attracted scholars from across Asia. His detailed account, Great Tang Records on the Western Regions, provides insight into India's religious practices, the flourishing of Buddhist philosophy and the vibrant academic life at institutions like Nalanda. He recorded the political landscape of India, mentioning key kingdoms and the rise and fall of different rulers. His account is crucial for understanding India's real history, intellectual and political history. Another vital source is Faxian, a 5th-century Chinese Buddhist pilgrim. His work, A Record of Buddhist Kingdoms, offers a glimpse into early Indian society and its Buddhist culture. He traveled across Northern India, documenting the state of Buddhist monasteries, universities and temples, as well as the social conditions of ordinary people. Faxian's accounts emphasize the significant role Buddhism played in shaping Indian education and ethics. Al-Biruni, an 11th-century Persian scholar, studied India's culture and religion in depth, offering a non-religious perspective through his work, Kitab fi Tahqiq ma l'il-Hind (Researches on India). He mastered Pali-Prakit, Sanskrit and engaged with Indian scholars, translating important texts and exploring India's mathematical and astronomical knowledge. His writings are an important source for understanding the intellectual exchanges between India and the Islamic world, particularly in the fields of science and philosophy. India's Buddhist universities were the epicenters of this intellectual and cultural exchange. Nalanda, Vikramashila, and Takshashila were not only centers of Buddhist learning but also places where subjects like grammar, logic, astronomy and medicine were studied. These institutions attracted students from regions as far as China, Korea, and Central Asia, who helped transmit India's scientific and philosophical knowledge to their home countries. The accounts of these travelers depict India as a diverse and rich cultural hub. They highlight India's role in global intellectual history, as a place where ideas from different parts of the world converged, and its influence spread beyond its borders. The history of India as documented by these foreign scholars shows how Buddhist centers of learning contributed to the flourishing of knowledge, spiritual practices and cultural debates, shaping the broader history of Asia and the world.

The terms Pramana and metry are associated with measurement. Anguli Pramana, as described in Ayurveda, is utilized for patient examination. In ancient times, Ayurveda served as a significant medical system, with Anguli Pramana playing a key role in anatomical assessments. This method involved individuals measuring the length and breadth of various body parts using their fingers, known as Anguli Pramana. Swanguli Pramana refers to measuring one's own body parts. This practice serves as a Sharira Pramana tool for determining body part measurements. Angula Pramana quantitatively expresses the magnitudes of human body parts, with appropriate measurements believed to bring longevity, prosperity, happiness, wealth, Ojas, and strength to an individual with well-proportioned Anga-Pratyangas. The Angula Pramana technique is an age-old method used to quantitatively determine the proportions of the human body. Measurements for Anguli Pramana should be taken at the midpoint between the proximal interphalangeal joints of the middle fingers on both the right and left hands, while considering the specific individual being measured. This approach emphasizes the importance of tailoring measurements to each person rather than relying on generalized standards.

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is an essential global staple grown worldwide owing to its ability to thrive under various environmental conditions. It is among the most economically significant crops and sustains more than half the global population. However, increasing population, ad biotic and abiotic stresses have substantially challenged rice cultivation. Its compact genome size and genetic similarities with other cereal crops make rice an ideal model for functional genomics. Advances in genome editing technologies, such as zinc-finger nucleases (ZFNs) transcription activator-like effector nucleases (TALENs), and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)- associated protein 9 (Cas9), have enabled the development of new elite plant varieties to alleviate food insecurity owing to their high efficiency, speed, and accuracy. Among these methods, CRISPR-Cas technology stands out for its precision and user-friendly nature, making it a promising solution for addressing various challenges in increasing rice production. This article explores the potential use of CRISPR/Cas9 in promoting sustainable rice production amidst evolving challenges.

Wrist ganglion cyst is a fluid-filled lump that occurs near a joint or tendon in the wrist. 60% to 70% wrist ganglion cyst is present on the dorsal aspect, often arising from dorsal scapho-lunate ligament while only 13% to 20% of ganglion cysts is present on volar aspect. It feels much like a firm rubber ball while on palpation. These are usually painless but it may compress nearby structures, causing discomfort to the patient. The symptoms for ganglion cyst include palpable mass, aching in the wrist that may also radiate up to the patient's arm, tenderness, pain while performing activity, weakness of grip strength and decreased range of motion. Conservative and surgical approaches have been used for treatment of the cyst. Various conservative treatment methods are also suggested such as reassurance, aspiration, sclerosant injection, and direct compression. But, acceptable treatment of choice is still not known, because each suggested method has high chance of recurrence rate. So, a case study of 23-year-old female with recurrence of dorsal wrist ganglion cyst after a month of surgical procedure was taken for the physiotherapy management using therapeutic ultrasound along with grip strengthening exercise for 3 weeks. This study shows the effectiveness of therapeutic ultrasound along with the grip strengthening exercise which had improved this condition with our targeted aims and objectives. Education forms an important marker of human development. It is associated with the enrollment at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. Since independence, Government of India has implemented number of programmes at all levels of education including Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, Mid-Day Meal, National Literacy Mission, Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (Right to Education) Act 2010 etc., for achievement of educational goals. Along with these, higher education has also gained remarkable attention. Reform initiative such as National Education Policy (NEP) is the milestone in the higher education. The higher education system of India plays a pivotal role in the nation's development. Higher education institutions need to integrate lifelong learning skills into their education to help students gain competencies to cope with real life problems and work in business world. However, in spite of many initiatives taken by the Government, higher education is not able to make the students employable in India. There has always been a dilemma of quality versus quantity resulting into either Gross Enrolled Ratio (GER) or Quality Education (QE). Indian economy is constantly growing up.
