This paper critically examines the social impacts of neo-liberal policies in India since the 1991 economic reforms. While the reforms led to high economic growth, they have also exacerbated income inequality, marginalized vulnerable populations, and contributed to the informalization of labor. Drawing on data from governmental and non-governmental sources, this study explores how neoliberalism has deepened the urban-rural divide, affected marginalized communities, and reshaped India's labor market. The paper concludes by offering insights into potential policy reforms to mitigate the social costs of neo-liberalism and promote greater inclusivity.

The most prevalent medical conditions among people are skin disorders. More than 60% of the general population is impacted, and patients and their families may experience emotional and psychological stress as a result. The most prevalent skin conditions that call for long-term therapy include dermatitis, eczema, acne, urticaria, psoriasis, and skin allergies. Skin conditions are often disregarded in medical care, most likely because they are not usually fatal. Even health care administrators, who have other competing responsibilities in the public domain, fail to fully recognize or take seriously the morbidity resulting from these issues. Because urticaria, or Udarda, has a complex and varied mechanism, a variety of drugs are frequently used to treat it. Modern medicine can temporarily relieve symptoms, but it cannot completely heal an illness; therefore, patients must take medication for an extended period of time, which may have unintended side effects. Therefore, research for substitute treatments with better safety records is required. The mode of action of Kunjal is directly concerned with the digestive system by purifying the stomach and cleans the entire body. As of yet, contemporary medicine has not developed a medication that can permanently treat this illness. Unfortunately, modern science does not now offer any effective treatments. In Ayurveda, the primary treatment for the illness is Shodhan karma. Reviewing the effectiveness of the Kunjal Kriya cleansing technique in light of Ayurvedic principles has been attempted.

Abstract To seek a land that fulfils all their ambitions, wishes and desires has been the most earnest quest of humans for the last many generations. Ready to invest their wherewithal of their skills, talent, hard work and investment of all kinds with the sole purpose to achieve those eluding and missing attainments, the land of America seems to them to be the most fertile for them. Each individual, with their unique dream, has their own definition of what constitutes an American Dream. But those definitions when collectively defined, are impossible to be stated in a standard characterization due to their heterogeneity and because of the changes made in their description with each passing era. Lawrence R. Samuel's odyssey to seek the Holy Grail of the meaning of the phrase called the American Dream results in an assortment of diverse meanings which depends on an individual's viewpoint of what it is. Throughout his investigative book, Samuel endeavours to dissect and decode the phrase through multiple sources with the ultimate aim to fathom the ethos of America which binds people to her. Diving deep into the idea of the American Dream, the author encompasses the entire spectrum of the belief through multiple determinants. In his sincere pursuit, the author stumbles upon a plethora of findings that shed light on the conundrums that the phrase poses. The firmly held belief of the American Dream which lacks unanimity, is thoroughly examined through numerous perspectives by the author to attempt to fathom the term.

Pranayama is among one of the eight limbs of Ashatang yoga's i.e. Yama Niyama, Aasan, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dyana, Dharana, Samadhi. Pranayama Practice help us control the life force and make our system healthier and more energetic. Pranyamas such as Savitri, Kapalabhati, Bhastrika, Nadisuddhi, Bhramari cause pronounced physiological responses among normal healthy people. My current review article is somatic and psychological effect of bhramari pranayama in stress allivation. Bhramari Pranayama as described in the books Hath Yoga Pradipika and Gherand Samhita is Sanskrit word for "Honey Bee," involves emitting a humming sound similar to that of a bee. Through this Pranayama, we generate sounds and vibrations to establish a connection with our mind, regulate breathing, and attain elevated levels of concentration. It is beneficial to both physical and mental wellness on regular basis. This technique is a stress-relieving and helps to calm the body and mind, releasing agitation, frustration, anxiety and anger, making it a simple yet effective way to manage stress. It potentially reduces the secretion of stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline. It. trigger the production of endorphins, the body's natural mood enhancers. Elevated endorphin levels can induce a sense of calmness, alleviating pain and stress.

This study aims to explore the impact of anime and cartoons on the psychosocial development of adolescents aged 13-15 in both urban and rural areas of the Ernakulam district in Kerala. It examines the influence of these media forms through the lens of Erikson's stages of psychosocial development, with a particular focus on defense mechanisms and cognitive distortions. A literature review was conducted, encompassing a comprehensive analysis of existing studies and theoretical frameworks related to the impact of anime and cartoons on adolescent development. The review included peer-reviewed journals, books, and credible online sources. The study synthesized findings to assess how anime and cartoons affect identity formation, social relationships, and coping strategies among adolescents. Special attention was given to comparing urban and rural contexts to identify any significant differences in media influence. This paper addresses a gap in the literature by focusing on a specific age group and geographic region, providing insights into the nuanced effects of anime and cartoons on adolescent development in the Ernakulam district. It highlights the importance of cultural and environmental factors in shaping the impact of media consumption on young people. By examining both urban and rural areas, the study offers a comparative perspective that enhances the understanding of media influence across different contexts. The findings suggest that anime and cartoons play a significant role in the psychosocial development of adolescents, influencing their identity formation, social interactions, and coping mechanisms. Erikson's theory provides a valuable framework for understanding these effects, particularly the stages of identity versus role confusion and intimacy versus isolation, which are critical during adolescence. Defense mechanisms such as denial, projection, and rationalization are often depicted in anime and cartoons, potentially reinforcing these behaviors in viewers. Additionally, cognitive distortions like all?or-nothing thinking, overgeneralization, and emotional reasoning are commonly portrayed, which can shape adolescents' thought patterns and problem-solving approaches. The comparative analysis of urban and rural contexts reveals that while the overall impact of anime and cartoons is similar, there are notable differences in media consumption patterns and the interpretation of content. Urban adolescents tend to have greater access to diverse media and may adopt more varied defense mechanisms and cognitive distortions. In contrast, rural adolescents might rely more on local cultural narratives, which can moderate the influence of anime and cartoons. In conclusion, this literature review underscores the complex interplay between media consumption and adolescent development, emphasizing the need for further research to explore these dynamics in different cultural and environmental settings. Understanding the impact of anime and cartoons on psychosocial development can inform educators, parents, and policymakers in fostering healthy media consumption habits among adolescents.

India is facing a triple burden of pre-diabetes, diabetes, and obesity. Unhealthy eating habits and physical inactivity have been linked to the onset and progression of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Despite dietary recommendations, individuals consume inadequate amounts or un- suitable type of dietary fiber (DF) which needs correction. Evidence has shown that medical nutrition therapy (MNT) is a valuable approach and an essential component of T2DM prevention and management. Studies have shown that fiber rich diabetes nutrition (FDN) has multi-systemic health benefits, including, improvement in glycemic control, reduction in glucose spikes, decrease in hyperinsulinemia, improvement in plasma lipid concentrations and weight management in T2DM patients. A high fiber diet is vital for people with diabetes and associated conditions. Increasing fiber intake, preferably through food or through dietary supplement, may help. Fiber rich diabetes nutrition (FDN) is recommended in order to prevent and manage T2DM.

Delhi faces severe air pollution, especially during winter months when pollutant concentrations frequently exceed safe levels. The city's air quality is compromised by various factors, including vehicular emissions, industrial activities, dust from construction, and seasonal biomass burning. Real-time monitoring of pollutants like PM2.5, PM10, nitrogen dioxide (NO?), sulfur dioxide (SO?), and ammonia (NH?) is critical to understanding the pollution patterns and developing forecasting models. An air quality forecasting system uses historical and real-time data, combined with machine learning models, to predict pollution levels for future hours or days. This system incorporates variables such as traffic density, weather conditions, and emissions data to offer accurate forecasts of pollutant concentrations. The goal is to provide early warnings that allow authorities and citizens to take preventive measures. This forecasting and early warning system is essential for mitigating health risks, particularly for vulnerable populations such as children, the elderly, and those with respiratory conditions. The data-driven predictions enable proactive actions, such as traffic restrictions, industrial activity limits, and advisories for staying indoors during high-pollution periods. However, challenges persist in improving model accuracy and public compliance. Despite the availability of early warnings, public awareness and adherence to recommendations are often inadequate. Enhancing data integration from a wider range of sources and improving forecast resolution can increase the effectiveness of the system.
