Abstract Environmental security is the degree to which the general public is protected from environmental perils arising from within or across international borders, whether those threats are the result of human or natural processes, and whether they are the result of negligence, ineptitude, or malicious intent. These glitches have recently risen to prominence on the international political standards as a direct result of the massive increases in consumption and pollution in today's high-energy societies, which have led to drastic reductions in primary land use patterns, the forcible relocation of people as a result of eutrophication's reductions in water and pasture for livestock, encroachment and possible clashes between farmers and herders, and the forced migration of the indigenous people. The study utilizes a survey research approach to answer the following questions: What kind of dangers did indigenous people in southern Kaduna confront in terms of environmental security? How have those threats affected the region's patterns of land usage and human mobility? In order to achieve these goals, there were three research questions to guide the investigation and then test three hypotheses about the effect of environmental security on land use patterns and human mobility. Descriptive statistics, such as frequency counts and percentages were used to analyzed the collected data and provide insight into the research questions, and statistical methods, to establish statistical significance between the study's variables. Findings were presented in table and graphs shown using suitable statistical methods. The study found armed violence as the major threat the people encountered which has created poor utilization of land resources and forceful migration. The study concluded that human migration within the region is associated with armed conflict caused by climate change. Therefore, Government and agencies should carry out measures towards mitigating the continuous effects of climate change and provide necessary techniques for adaptation.

This study examines how farmers in North Central Nigeria are utilizing digital technology to manage their poultry farms, the proportion of farm operations that are currently managed digitally, the main advantages that farmers see from using digital innovation in poultry management, the significance of ensuring sustainability in the implementation of digital innovation in the management of poultry farms in North Central Nigeria, and government policies and initiatives that support the sustainability of digital agricultural innovation in North Central, Nigeria. Using a simple sample technique based on availability and proximity to the study site, 101 chicken producers from Benue, Plateau, Kwara, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger, and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja participated in the descriptive study. Data were collected using closed-ended questionnaires; the internal consistency of the questionnaire was confirmed by the Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient (r-coefficient of.86) and the Content Validity Ratio (CVR of.099) obtained from the Lawshe's formula, which also confirmed the appropriateness and clarity of the questionnaire items. On-the-spot data collection, organization, and analysis were done with percentages and frequency counts. The results indicate that, with a focus on poultry farmers in the area, government policies and activities aimed at ensuring the sustainability of digital innovation in agricultural management are not well known or utilized by poultry farmers in the region. It is important to prioritize digital security and e-commerce in order to increase productivity and farmers' confidence in implementing new technologies in favor of outdated ones.

Sarcoptic Mange is a highly contagious dermatological disease that affects a variety of animal species on earth. It is caused by an ectoparasite mite Sarcoptes scabiei that burrows into the skin of the mammals and lays its eggs. This causes itching and irritation in the animal, often leading to secondary bacterial infection. Sarcoptes scabiei Var. canis affects dogs and other canids including foxes on parts of the body which are devoid of hair, such as the head, chest, abdomen, neck, face, ears, elbow, and the hocks. This further leads to papular lesions which are associated with marked scaling, oozing, crusting and scab formation, causing alopecia and weight loss. These conditions result in very high mortality. Indian desert fox Vulpes vulpes pusilla is an endemic survivalist of the Thar desert. It withstands the extremes of the desert, yet it has been struggling against the malice of Sarcoptic Mange. This disease has been known to be detrimental to the survival of many canid species throughout the world and Indian desert fox is no exception. It is widely believed that desert foxes have been contracting Sarcoptic Mange from feral dogs as well as their mite-infested carcasses. This deadly disease may send the population of desert fox toward extinction in near future. This disease can be treated quite conveniently with the help of anti-mite topical medicines, but this method is impractical in terms of wildlife management. The long-term solution would be the development of a vaccine for the fox and other mammals to prevent their extinction.

The objective of phytochemical screening of papaya leaf is to identify and analyse the bioactive compounds present in the leaf. These compounds have significant medicinal, therapeutic, and nutritional benefits. The leaves were collected, dried then ground into fine powder using a blender or grinder. The powdered form increases the surface area for efficient extraction of phytochemicals. The powdered material was stored in an airtight container at room temperature, away from direct sunlight until further use. Plant powder was extracted using solvents of varying polarities to ensure a broad spectrum of compounds is obtained. The results of the phytochemical screening of papaya (Carica papaya) leaves revealed the presence of various bioactive compounds including alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, phenolic compounds, glycosides, terpenoids, and steroids. These compounds are known for their potential therapeutic properties, such as antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting effects. The results support the traditional use of papaya leaves in herbal medicine for treating ailments like dengue fever, digestive disorders, and infections. The study concludes that papaya leaves are a rich source of phytochemicals with promising medicinal potential.

Abstract: The process of man trying to overpower the natural world for the progress of humankind has become more pertinent than ever before in the history of the human race. The anthropogenic nature of man has come to the surface in recent years as the changes in our environment are altered at an accelerated speed. Human activities are responsible for the dramatic changes in the relationship between man and the natural environment. Anthropogenic climate crises are a result of modifications in human lifestyles. Though the scientific community creates awareness among a few on the planet, stories through literature are a vital platform that can communicate and bring mass awareness. Amitav Ghosh is one such Indian writer. In his book The Great Derangement: The Climate Change Unthinkable, he reflects that the novel, which is a powerful mode of storytelling, has failed to narrate the profound transformation induced by humans in the environment. He explores the role of culture and literature in reversing the unprecedented challenges of the climate crisis in today's world, and he stresses the need for storytellers to play a responsible role in saving the deranged world.

Introduction: A mnemonics device, or memory device, is any learning technique that aids information retention or retrieval (remembering) in the human memory. Mnemonics make use of elaborative encoding, retrieval cues, and imagery as specific tools to encode any given information in a way that allows for efficient storage and retrieval. Mnemonics aid original information in becoming associated with something more accessible or meaningful--which, in turn, provides better retention of the information. Commonly encountered mnemonics are often used for lists and in auditory form, such as short poems, acronyms, or memorable phrases, but mnemonics can also be used for other types of information and in visual or kinaesthetic forms. Method: The research method adopted for the study was an evaluative approach. It was considered to be most suitable method here because it involves the collection of data from a representation sample of population to assess the effectiveness of mnemonics and mind mapping in enhancing the perceived memory of school going children. In this present study the researcher adopted an experimental (one group pre-test post-test- research design). The samples were 50 school going children of selected schools of Udaipur city who underwent inclusive and exclusive criteria. Results: The pre interventional memory score shows that 20 (40%) out of 50 had poor knowledge, 24 (48%) had average knowledge, 05(10%) had good knowledge and 1(2%) had excellent knowledge. The post interventional memory score shows that 20 (40%) out of 50 had good knowledge, 25 (50%) had excellent knowledge, 05(10%) had average knowledge. Discussion and Conclusion: The particular study enhances new interventional strategy to help the child to learn various non-academic or extracurricular activities in simple way. Rather than lecture method this new techniques can improve the educational standards among the students to much extended level.

Nowadays, computer vision has reached an advanced stage where computers can recognize their users with simple image-processing programs. This technology is being applied in various aspects of daily life, including face recognition, color detection, and autonomous vehicles. In this project, computer vision is utilized to create an optical mouse and keyboard controlled by hand gestures. The camera of the computer reads the image of different gestures performed by a person's hand and eyes. According to the movement and gesture, the mouse and keyboard will move or perform actions, such as right and left swipes. Similarly, keyboard functions can be controlled through gestures, like using one finger for alphabet selection and four fingers to swipe. This system acts as a virtual mouse and keyboard, eliminating the need for wires or external devices. The only hardware required is a webcam, and the coding is done in Python using the Anaconda platform. The Haar Cascade algorithm is used for gesture recognition and eye-tracking. The system generates convex hull defects from hand gestures, and these defect calculations are applied to create an algorithm that links gestures to specific mouse and keyboard functions. By mapping a few gestures to these functions, the computer can understand and respond to user commands. The goal of this research is to develop a system that uses non-verbal cues to operate a computer's mouse and keyboard.

Abstract: The increase in highway traffic highlights the importance of a well-constructed base and sub-base for the construction of durable roads. In areas with unstable subsoil, roads are prone to damage, leading to accidents and financial losses. Stabilization is necessary to improve weak subsoil, which often faces issues like swelling, shrinkage, and low bearing capacity. The green building initiative promotes using waste materials, such as demolished debris and stone dust, to reduce environmental impact. This work explores the use of stone dust (SD) and recycled fine aggregate (RFA) in stabilizing clay subsoil whose California Bearing Ratio (CBR) is low. Different percentages of these materials (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30%) were added to clay soil to bring out their stabilizing effect. Tests including sieve analysis, Atterberg limits, compaction, unconfined compressive strength, and CBR were performed on both soaked and unsoaked samples. The results showed significant improvements in CBR, with 20% stone dust and 25% recycled fine aggregate when added to clay soil. Soil treated with 20% stone dust saw a threefold increase in CBR with light compaction and a twofold increase with modified compaction. Similarly, 25% recycled fine aggregate led to a fivefold increase in CBR under modified compaction. However, soaked samples displayed less improvement. This stabilization method can enhance road construction by reducing the need for expensive materials, improving subgrades, and allowing for thinner pavements.
