 Abstract

There are two types of geomagnetic field variations termed as secular change and transient variations. The main field of the Earth is subject to a slow variation in time, known as secular variation. There are two kinds of transient variation, the first includes relatively small and regular daily variation, and the second is the disturbances of a more violent nature known as geomagnetic storms. Alexander von Humboldt was the first to discover the dependency of magnetic intensity on latitude and observed the geomagnetic field at various locations at Earth (Cane, H.V.1985)1.The variation in geomagnetic field is known as geomagnetic storm. The magnetosphere is filled with tenuous plasmas. Five plasma domains of different energy characteristics are well identified as the plasma mantle the plasma sheet the cusp region,

 Abstract

The global growth of the fitness industry is playing an important role in expanding activity by making exercise more convenient, affordable, personalized, and results-oriented. This study was conducted to analyze food intake patterns and lifestyle practices in fitness enthusiasts selected and to compare the various fitness activities and eating patterns of selected adults before and during the COVID pandemic and its effects among the adults selected for survey. The study was conducted in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. A total of 100 respondents, consisting of 50 women and 50 fitness enthusiasts, were selected for the study using the Purposive sampling technique. A well-structured questionnaire was designed as a Google form to request information on the lifestyle practices of fitness enthusiasts during the COVID pandemic. Changes in Food consumption patterns, physical activity, sleep patterns, and stress patterns have been observed. Out of 100 fitness enthusiasts, 70 percent of those surveyed reduced their stress through exercise. It was also reported that 58 percent had stress-related symptoms, such as lack of energy, and 44 fitness enthusiasts experienced insomnia. Burning extra calories and exercising endurance will help maintain individual stamina and well-being. Regular workouts performed by fitness enthusiasts help balance dietary needs and intake and maintain healthy vitality. The results of the study showed that, among the selected fitness enthusiasts more than half have gained weight during the pandemic. Physically active lifestyle practices as a daily program will help everyone to experience good health at all times and especially during such a pandemic situation.

 Abstract

This study examined the spatio-temporal variability of vehicular noise pollution across different days of the week in Port Harcourt metropolis of Rivers State, Nigeria. The study employed both experimental and descriptive approaches to arrive at the dependable conclusion. The Noise Level Meter (NLM) was used to derive the noise level data set. The vehicles were counted at the locations of roundabouts and junctions. The Global Positioning System (GPS) was employed to ascertain the sample points of the roundabouts and junctions. Thus, the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used to establish whether there exists variation of noise pollution across days of the week. The findings showed that Tuesday (88.3dB) had the highest vehicular noise pollution level, seconded by Monday (87.9dB) and thirdly by Wednesday (84dB). The weekend had the least vehicular noise pollution as Sunday (72.6dB) had the least vehicular noise pollution, followed by Saturday (74.3dB) respectively. The analysis proved that there was no statistically significant variation in the level of vehicular noise pollution across the days of the week. The Precautionary, Polluter Pay Principle and the Prevention Principle were recommended to curb the disaster of vehicular noise pollution in Port Harcourt metropolis without further delay.

 Abstract

In this computer age, it is very important to acquire knowledge about electronic devices. Electronic devices such as smart phones, computers, TV, etc., are changing the way a person thinks, lives and works. Today the use of electronic devices is increasing in all fields. All the work is being done online through mobiles and computers. Using these tools, man is collecting maximum information and using it for the development of himself and the country. Due to the increasing demand for electronic devices, new companies are entering the market and making various products available to the customers. Currently, the use of this modern technology in agriculture has increased. Along with mobile and computer technology, drone technology is also being used in agriculture and agriculture related fields. Digital India is an ambitious plan of the Government of India. Under this scheme, the objective is to reach out to the citizens by creating a transparent and responsive administration and to promote digital literacy in India. The agriculture sector has been given an important place in this scheme. Such technology has become necessary to enable agriculture to meet the challenges of climate change. Farmers need accurate information and guidance on climate, modern cropping practices while doing technology-based farming. Agriculture in India should be made modern, digital and sustainable using such new technologies.

 Abstract

The main aim of this review is to explain the various aspects Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) which are class of materials that have industrial viability because of economic leverage that they offer by having the properties of cross linked elastomers without associated with costs of the chemical cross linking process. TPEs are two-phase in nature, a thermoplastic phase which accounts for their processing behavior and an elastomeric phase which accounts for their elastic nature. The elastomer particles should be cross linked to promote elasticity. The best way to pro- duce thermoplastic elastomeric compositions comprising vulcanized elastomer particles in melt processable plastic matrices is by dynamic vulcanization. The improvements in properties of blends resulting from dynamic vulcanization are numerous. This review paper covers the work being carried out from the last 20 years in the field of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber (Nitrile Rubber) and its blends. The position of NBR as the standard polymer for rubber goods that are ex- posed to oils, liquid fuels, and greases is likely to be depending very much on the fuels of the future. Attempts have been made the possibility of developing NBR and Ethylene-Methyl Acrylate copolymer (EMA) grades and processing methods and working out new and more suitable recipes endeavoring to ensure the continued use of this material in such applications.

 Abstract

The Schiff base ligands derived from sulphadrug, sulphathiazole with salicylaldehyde and thiophene-2 aldehyde and complexed with divalent Cu and Zn. These compounds are coloured stable and have high decomposition temperature. The Schiff bases and synthesized complexes have been analysed with aid of elemental analysis, spectral analysis and conductivity measurements. Further the Schiff base ligands were metallated and products have been biologically screened against insects (House flies & cockroaches) and fungal strains ( A. Nigar & A.Flarus).

 Abstract

Context: Sex education has been one of the highly controversial issues in Indian society. Due to increasing incidences of HIV/AIDS and pregnancies of teenagers, there is a rising need to impart sex education. However, introducing sex education at school level always received mixed response from various segments of Indian society. Data and Methods: We attempt to understand the expectations and experiences of youth regarding sex education in India by analysing the data among the students of Nursing College in Bareilly. We used descriptive methods to analyse the extent of access to Sex Education and socio demographic patterning among College student. Results and Discussions: We found substantial gap between the proportion of youth who perceived sex education to be important and those who actually received it, revealing considerable unmet need for sex education. Students who received sex education were relatively more aware about reproductive health issues than their counterparts. Majority among students, irrespective of their age and sex, favoured introduction of sex education at school level, preferably from standard 8th onwards. The challenge now is to develop a culturally-sensitive sex education curriculum acceptable to all sections of society.

 Abstract

The life base of South Asian states is the Indian Ocean. This ocean's geographical security, sovereignty, development, destruction, life of these states depends on this natural heritage. The only ocean in the world that has been named after a country (India, Hind). It provides many resources to these states and the world. In 1971, there was a clash of two great ideas and suddenly this area became important from other fields. There was a sudden flurry of treaties, military exercises, military deployment, etc., and today this region has become the center of world politics in the 21st century. The presence of the world's superpowers America, France, China, Japan, Russia can be seen. Which has created a crisis for the mutual interests, sovereignty, foreign policy of the original Indian Ocean countries. The clash of capitalism and communism is disturbing the peace of the Indian Ocean.
