The licensing and control system prohibited investment by the private sector and foreign investors were also discouraged due to this. There was a need to rethink the economic policies adopted in the first four decades of inorganic development. As a result, the government started economic reforms. In this paper, we discussed about the nature of economic reform and its field. The progress and problems of implementation of economic reforms will be studied and this policy will be analyzed.

Graham Greene is an exceptional writer of fiction and non-fiction. His art of political narration always takes the hold of readers and critics. His works have been proved to be seminal in the studies of religion and politics. The merging of religion into politics is a distinctive characteristic of Greenes writings. The formulating presence of religious issues within his fictions, journalism and correspondence has long been a subject of critical attention. For over 65 years, Greenes literary creativity and intellectual skepticism frequently depended upon his knowledge of religious matters to fashion dominant narrative and thematic concerns as he insistently wove theological elements into the fabric of his fictions. But his constantly shifting political perspectives, often closely linked with his religious affiliations, have proved much more difficult to categorize. Greenes writings have been interpreted as offering evidence of earnest political convictions or profound cynicism. The present paper is an outline sketch of Greenes chief works which acclaim him as a political writer. MLA eighth edition has been used to cite references.

Human beings have unlimited wants. These wants are categoriesed into three parts, namely: Necessities, Comforts and Luxuries. Out of these three, necessities constitutes the most indispensable, inevitable requirements of human being, without which, survival itself is not possible. Out of necessities, Food occupies a pivotal place. 2011, census data of India, reveals the fact, that a whopping 22% of the total population living below poverty line, who cannot afford to purchase the essential food grains in the open market, by paying the existing market price. Their condition is sure to go from bad to worse, as they lack necessary purchasing capacity. Government has an important role to play to protect these vulnerable section of the society. To safeguard life and opportunity and to supply few essential commodities to such general mass, at a highly subsidized rate, Public Distribution System or Ration Shop system was evolved. According to this system, government maintains fair price shops and certain essential commodities like Rice, Wheat, Sugar, Kerosene, Edible Oil, Pulses, Salt etc. are distributed at a highly subsidized prices to general masses. Roots of this Public Distribution System could be traced back to after the Bengal famine of 1943.

Agriculture is considered as the major sector and hence it has to be given top most priority while arriving at decisions and policies by the Government and other authorities concerned. In view of the significant contribution of the agricultural sector for the development of the economy as a whole, the Government at national and state level, NABARD and RBI have played a dynamic role in creating a broad based institutional framework for catering to the increasing credit requirements of the sector. In India Banks, co-operatives and other financial institutions occupy a very prominent role in the agricultural credit system and for its better performance. In spite of the disbursal performance of agricultural credit is getting more and more positive; the system is not free from all the defects of which one crucial party affected is the lenders or bankers disbursing agricultural credit. The problem of less repayment performance due to low income from agriculture and natural calamities and other related problems is a major seen in the credit delivery system. The detailed analysis of these problems will only be the means to annihilate the same to a large extent. It is also a very need on the part of the policy makers as well as the society at large to make, implement and ensure sufficient initiatives so as to be free from the distress prevailing in agricultural sector.

In Baghelkhand region districts dissected terrain dominated by hills and plateaus impede the extension of agricultural development. To know the status of agricultural development data related to landuse land cover was used. Data on gross cropped area, net sown area, cropping intensity, culturable land, fallow land, and area under major crops such as Wheat, Tuar, Millets, Wheat, Pulses, and Jowar has also been compiled and analysed under Ravi and Kharif crops. By making usage of the table of critical values of Doi's method, the crop combinations in Baghelkhand Region of Madhya Pradesh has been ascertained.
