A serious psychiatric condition called obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) affects about 2% of both children and adults in society. OCD has been linked to families in studies of family aggregation, and findings from twin studies show that this relationship is partially influenced by genetic factors. Only three genome-wide linkage studies have been finished so far, and the findings are merely suggestive. More than 80 candidate gene studies have also been released. These studies have mainly concentrated on genes in the dopaminergic and serotonergic pathways. Unfortunately, none have been replicated and, with the exception of the glutamate transporter gene, none have reached genome-wide significance. In order to obtain sufficiently large samples of people with OCD, use cutting-edge laboratory techniques, and carry out the bioinformatic analyses necessary to identify risk loci, multidisciplinary teams of investigators will need to collaborate in future studies. Steroids may be influencing how the disorder develops, according to some theories. However, only a few studies have examined hormone levels and obsessive-compulsive (OC) symptoms simultaneously to date; as a result, there is little direct proof of this association. As a result, more thorough research into neurotransmission in OC patients has linked OCD pathology to the serotonergic, dopaminergic, and glutamatergic neurotransmitter systems. The molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of "obsessive-compulsive disorder-like" behaviors have started to come into focus in recent studies of novel mouse genetic models with excessive grooming behaviors Hoxb8, Sapap3, and Slitrk5 are three genes that are genetically deleted in mice, resulting in pathological behaviors such as adult-onset excessive grooming with mild to severe hair loss and self-injury. The abnormal grooming behaviors are linked to increased anxiety in two of the models, the Sapap3-deficient and the Slitrk5-deficient mice, and these pathological behaviors can be reduced with subchronic administration of a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, indicating the predictive validity of such models. These models' molecular, pathophysiological, and genetic analyses offer several new insights into the causes of these mice's abnormal behaviors. In this review, we are going to focus on understanding these genetic and hormonal influences in triggering OCD.

To Kill a Mockingbird is a modern American classic that presents, among other issues, an important family concern i.e. how to rear up children in a particular way so as to make them independent and responsible citizens. It has almost assumed the status of a father's manual guide to teach him the methods of socialization. The novel is more than just a book in children literature. Scout is the protagonist/narrative voice of the novel, which has attracted the attention of readers for her manner and sophistication. There is ample textual evidence of gender sensitive issues in upbringing of Scout taken up by her father that indicates that the protagonist's trajectory from naivety to maturity in this bildungsroman happens through his mentoring. The role of her father and other people in the environment seems very significant in constructing Scout's self-esteem and identity. She is groomed under Atticus's parenting style, attachment style, and his personality. This is what is duly focused on in this research paper. Harper Lee successfully manages objectivity in dealing with serious issues of racism and Southern social attitudes, along with questions of good and evil, caste division and class distinction, education of children, gender socialization, and the development of an individual's /daughter's conscience.

With every small advancement in artificial intelligence, human civilization is approaching the age of AI where AI would be guiding humans from small mathematical calculations to large calculations in finding the deep secrets of the universe. Convolutional Neural Networks is one of the techniques that can help humans in the medicinal fields. With many applications running already, these networks need to be more accurate and efficient. The dataset for the artificial neural network training is one of the major requirements other than the model architecture and optimization methods. Early diagnosis of pneumonia plays an important role in the successful treatment of the infection. Chest X-rays are the best available diagnostic process for pneumonia. However, medical image diagnostics can be erroneous for inexperienced radiologists, and time-consuming for experienced radiologists. Pneumonitis appearance in the X-rays can mimic other abnormalities. Using this paper we propose a deep learning model for the detection of pneumonia, that can achieve better performance metrics using the Nadam optimization algorithm. We have also highlighted the major issue while developing a neural network for image-processing tasks such as image classification, segmentation, and detection of objects.

HR plays a very important role in all M& A, although some people believe that HR has no role to play in M& A. The key issue in every merger is combining the two entities with different cultures and values. Unless the cultures get well integrated the result of M&A cannot get visible. It is here that the role of HR becomes of immense importance in the company. Of course the support and confidence of the top level is required for integrating the culture and the values. The two entities have to ensure that the gelling takes place as soon as possible. Any delay in this regard can prove detrimental to the process and it can fail miserably. The earlier steps are taken the better it is for the company. The HR has to understand and analyze the key differences and understand the same and ascertain the manner in which the integration can happen. This case makes an attempt to effectively merge two different entities smoothly and effectively

The Civil Rights Movement encompasses social movements in the United States whose goal was to end racial segregation and discrimination against African Americans and to secure legal recognition and federal protection of the citizenship rights enumerated in the Constitution and Federal Law. The movements to obtain civil rights for black Americans have special historical significance; such movements have not only secured citizenship rights for blacks but have also redefined prevailing conceptions of the nature of civil rights and the role of government in protecting these rights. Anne Moody is one of the many voices of the civil rights movement who fights courageously to gain freedom and self respect for herself and as well as for the blacks. Coming of Age in Mississippi by Moody is one of the most self-reflective accounts of the Civil Rights Movement in America. Her life writing is a civil rights testimonial that serves the role of informing people in contemporary times about the perseverance exhibited by the individuals involved in the struggle. It is also a reflection of how a hopeless cry of a downtrodden segment of society gets transformed into an organized outcry of resilience and empowerment.
