In an interconnected power system, as a power load demand varies randomly, both area frequency and tie-line power interchange also vary. The objectives of load frequency control (LFC) are to minimize the transient deviations in these variables (area frequency and tie-line power interchange) and to ensure their steady state errors to be zeros. When dealing with the LFC problem of power systems, unexpected external disturbances, parameter uncertainties and the model uncertainties of the power system pose big challenges for controller design. The problem of selecting and tuning the parameters of a load frequency controller using Craziness Based Particle Swarm Optimization is discussed in this thesis. The proposed method has been applied to a two area thermal reheat power system with governor dead band. Optimum proportional and integral controllers using the concept of Particle Swarm Optimization have been obtained. Simulation results confirm the designed control performance of the proposed control. The results show that the obtained optimal PI-controller improves the dynamic performance of the power system. This work is done using MATLAB/ SIMULINK 7.12 software.

After liberalization of Indian economy and with the enactment of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) regulations in the year 2000, the entry of number of private sector life insurers have brought radical changes in the Life insurance market in India and it is at this juncture it has become essential to study the Profitability, Solvency and Liquidity performance of these companies. Three private sector life insurance companies have been selected from the annual report of IRDA for the purpose of study which have the period of seven years from 2010-11 to 2016-17. Out of the company selected for study it revealed that in terms of asset turnover and liquidity HDFC Standard outperforms the other two. In terms of operating efficiency, TATA AIA performs better as compared to HDFC Standard and Sahara Life. At last we also find that HDFC Standard has the most amount of its total assets blocked in fixed assets which reduces the liquidity of the company.

Those "digital MIMO" techniques are used in wireless sensor networks to make communique extra efficient, and they work much like actual MIMO. Quite a few human beings now use wireless sensor networks that run on battery strength. Because they need to be electricity efficient and last a long term, this means they have to be correct at these things as a way to clear up this, a brand new architectural technique referred to as virtual MIMO become made. To make an power green community, this technique may be very important. It facilitates you figure out how and wherein it have to be used. You may use MIMO generation in a unmarried antenna gadget by taking benefit of the cooperative idea and its energy-saving method with virtual MIMO. This survey paper more often than not talks about the way to try this. To make a wireless sensor community last longer with the least quantity of energy, this suggests how digital MIMO strategies can be used to try this A wi-fi conversation gadget with a couple of in and more than one out antennas, as well as unique S-parameters, are all simulated. Go back Loss in dB is also shown for specific frequencies, like S21, S22, S11, and S12. These frequencies have unique return Loss in dB. A lot of humans now use wi-fi sensor networks that run on battery energy. Because they need to be electricity green and remaining a long time, this means they should be appropriate at these items as a manner to remedy this, a brand new architectural approach referred to as digital MIMO turned into made. Optical remote sensing offers excellent opportunity to understand the post earthquake affects both qualitatively and quantitatively. Remote sensing products allow us to explore the land surface parameters at different spatial scales. The testing data for accuracy assessment of classified fraction images can be used from finer spatial resolution multi-spectral images to generate image-to-image accuracy. It has been investigated the pre and post event satellite images (Landsat-7) at sub pixel level to identify liquefaction occurred after Mw7.7 Bhuj earthquake of January 26th, 2001 earthquake. In this paper soft computing based fuzzy algorithm, which is independent of statistical distribution assumption of data, has been used to extract single land cover class from remote sensing multi-spectral images. As a result, using temporal class based modified NDVI data set it is possible to separate water bodies from liquefaction.

Modern world is technically touching the zenith of progress and is considered as the backbone of any country for its development. Every country is busy to strengthen this threshold and make their space among the ultra modern countries of the world. Millions of budget is utilized to enhance the technological power and emancipate this field in order to save the country from any derogatory wars and other type of plagues that may become the reason of their downfall. Among all the technological advancements every country wishes to strengthen the bond of defense and make sure to save their country from any derogatory wars .The defense sphere of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is developing with leaps and bounds. The methodical minds working in this techno field of AGI have formulated numerous hypotheses by striving their minds regarding the existence of human beliefs, but somehow there exists some contradictions. This present study will explore and analyze that what AGI protection scholars , up to the beginning of 2018, have jotted about the outcomes of human beliefs. This study will investigate about the well supported hypothesis by using the mechanism and technique of Theory classification system in order to indicate the difficulty of describing and unfolding the character of human beliefs regarding the innovative technique of AGI.

In the present research work to find out the best experimental condition to get high specific capacitance, the Taguchi method was used which involves reducing the variation in a process through robust design of experiments. The overall objective of the method is to produce high product result in minimum steps. From capacitance studies done by cyclic voltammetry technique for carbon materials obtained from plant precursors like bamboo fiber, rice straw and sugarcane bagasse; shows that highest specific capacitance is obtained with carbon obtained from rice straw. Taguchi optimization methodology predicted that pyrolysis of rice straw at 800oC temperature for 2 hrs. duration and treatment of carbon with 50 % KOH solution gives the carbon of best quality for maximum capacitance and thereby for developing supercapacitor. It is also observed that, first major impactful parameter on the specific capacitance is the nature of the precursor and second is treatment with KOH; pyrolyzing time and temperature had very little impact.

This paper seeks to understand the recent trends and concepts in physical education and sports of youths these days are eating more junk food and moving less. The result: overweight, unfit children. To counter the declining fitness trend, many schools and districts have taken a closer look at their physical education (PE) programs. Physical education is the instruction of physical exercise in schools and matters more today than ever before. Physical education programs are recognizing the academic benefits of quality fitness programs. Exercise increases oxygen flow to the brain, thereby increasing cognitive skills. It also increases neurotransmission in the brain, or the connection of neurons, also known as brain cells. Strengthening these connections means that the brain is remembering more efficiently. Exercise also releases chemicals in the body known to enhance mood, regulate impulsivity, and decrease fidgeting. All the more reason to up the game in PE. With the opportunity to help turn around declining fitness in children, schools and PE curriculum programs have made drastic changes. Team sports and fun activities that were once the norm are being elbowed out by more intense and direct physical activity focusing on overall health. How can PE time make a difference? Let's take a look at some trends that matter to children's health shows that the game specific training improved the maximum strength. The difference between right and left hand on maximum strength was insignificant. Hence, it was concluded that game specific dextrality training may be given to improve the dexterous (use of hands) level and handball playing ability.
