For long, the term Economic Offences is being used with ambiguity particularly while discussing and explaining White Collar Crimes. These offences have a vast ambit with clear and well defined distinction from Traditional Offences and White Collar Crimes. A deeper study can give clear disposition with regard to these offences. The present Paper makes analysis of all the aspects and brings out a distinct definition of Economic Offences. Here, the apparent advantages of a standard definition of Economic Offences have been spelt out followed by the Analytical Evaluation of Different Definitions and Views pertaining to these offences with the help of various works including that of Sutherland, Taft & England, Malimath Committee, Law Commission of India and material from NCRB & Fugitive Economic Offenders Act, 2018. A clear distinction of Economic Offences from White Collar Crime and other Traditional Crimes has been explained through these references. A discussion has been made for understanding New Age Economic Offences resulting from technological advancement. Characteristics of these Offences as derived from different Studies, Works and Court Judgements have been put together apart from analysing their gravity through hidden, deep, far reaching impacts. The observations of Supreme Court of India and different High Courts with regard to Economic Offences while delivering various Judgements have been summarised here. After carefully considering all the points and Characteristics, an appropriate Definition of Economic Offences has been designed and proposed with due honour. In the last, the Arguments in support of this Definition have been presented along with the Scope of this.

A flood is a natural disaster that results in the death of people and the destruction of property. Due to climate change and severe rainfalls, flash floods are an overflow of water that submerges lands and properties, harming lives and habitats all over the world. While it is impossible to minimize risk or prevent it from occurring, we may mitigate its impacts using a variety of technical strategies. Due to changing climatic conditions in the environment, floods and droughts have become increasingly common in our country in recent years. The River stage during a flood need mathematical modelling of the river. This paper describes a study undertaken in Udupi district, Karnataka, at the confluence of the River Swarna. To identify various flood risk zones of irrigation land around Swarna River basin. This will aid in the development of a flood mitigation strategy for the Udupi district as a preventative step for flood management through comparative analysis of steady and unsteady flow analysis for developed irrigation canal around Swarna River basin. This model also calculates the depth of water, velocity, and elevation of the water surface with time. Keywords: flood modelling, steady and unsteady flow analysis, irrigation canal.

Women participation in earning activities increased with the due to education and skill development trainings. They are positioned in different levels of organisation. Many of women are engaged in either in organised or unorganised sectors. Majority of women in Andhra Pradesh State joined in self-help groups and running own business units i.e., petty business viz. provisions shop, shops with pooja material near temples, beauty parlours, boutiques, tailoring shops, fruit shops, vegetable vendors, etc. The graduated women are engaged as teachers in private schools, working as sales girls in shopping malls, etc. Women, who are illiterates or having low level of education are working as sweepers, cleaners, helpers, etc. It is appreciable that women are working and earning, because it helps women to participate in decision making. Women are the first affecters of any change happen in the family or in environment or in the society. The same has been proven with the spread of Covid-19 in all States and Union Territories of India which started in last quarter of 2019. Andhra Pradesh State is one in which Covid-19 shacked the lives of people especially women in 2020. With this backdrop, an attempt has made to analyse the impact of Covid-19 on women through case studies.

Beach volleyball is a sport team played on a sandy courtyard separated by net among two teams of two participants. To date, primarily male beach volleyball players have been the subject of the study. The goal of this analysis was therefore to evaluate the work / rest ratio and physical action of men and women in terms of their position, and this paper focuses on volleyball history in India as a whole and on the contribution of Indian Sport Authority. Volleyball's history is quite limited in India. It is playing out in the subcontinent, and this makes the sport of the colonizers another hand-down. And while in its early stages, a National system seems oddly confined in India, when one looks at modern times. SAI has been striving for the upgrade of the volleyball game in the state since it was founded in Bangalore in 1975. Volleyball players have been strongly supported by services such as pedagogy, summer development sessions, centre, sport performance centers, student-level come-and-play, and workout facilities at school and education.

The aim of the present study is to prepare a sustained release suppository of an antihypertensive drug suitable for rectal administration. Firstly, the microspheres of metaprolol succinate were formulated using ethyl cellulose as polymer to sustain the drug release for longer time to conquer the short half life of the drug. The microspheres using ethyl cellulose were prepared by non-aqueous solvent evaporation technique. The microspheres were evaluated for micromeritic properties, particle size, percentage yield, entrapment efficiency, drug polymer compatibility, scanning electron microscopy and in-vitro drug release studies.

Microspheres are characteristically free flowing powders consisting of proteins or synthetic polymers, which are biodegradable in nature and ideally having a particle size less than 200?m. This is the important approach in delivering therapeutic substance to the target site in sustained and controlled release fashion. Size of microspheres affects the rate of drug release. As size decreases, the surface area-to-volume ratio of the particle increases. Thus, for a given rate of drug diffusion through the microsphere, the rate of flux of drug out of the microsphere, per mass of formulation, will increase with decreasing particle size.Microspheres were prepared by optimizing various parameters and studying their effects on particle size as well as entrapment efficiency. It was then incorporated into a cream base to form a suitable topical drug delivery system. From the experiments, it was concluded that; as polymer amount increases, particle size and drug entrapment increase; as surfactant concentration increases, particle size and drug entrapment decreases; as stirring speed increases, particle size and entrapment decrease. Microspheres was prepared with aim to deliver the drug which passes through transdermal route as it provides quick onset of action when compared to oral route.

Social and realism have been quite a significant means for writers, painters, poets and artists throughout the past decades, to discuss and depict the social, political and economic situations in their countries through their works. Further explained, the term refers to the social reality of society as the word 'social' refers to people who are part of a particular society, and the term 'realism' refers to the way these people are represented in works of Art or Literature. Writers usually represent the struggle of the common working class in distinction with the upper class through fiction. One such important writer is Pramoedya Ananta Toer, an Indonesian writer, whose works are translated into English and many other languages. Toer's works are mostly banned in Indonesia because of his opposition to tyranny and injustice in his country. His works mostly depict the unfairness and glory of human life through autobiographical elements in his novels. The Girl from The Coast is a novel based on the true story of his grandmother's marriage and life as a poor fisherman's child entering the world of noblemen and the upper class only to be used as a worthless concubine. This paper is an analysis of the novel by Toer, illustrating the past Feudalist society of Java and the status of women in a Muslim Aristocratic society, where unjust treatment is the only thing a woman ascending from a poor village can own, while the privilege is given to the nobles in the community. The paper also represents social differences of class applying Marxism theory.

Coronavirus disease caused by the infamous severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was first discovered in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and later, spreading to all parts of the world resulting in a Pandemic. The outbreak of Coronavirus has impacted every segment of life such as education, economy and health etc. The outbreak has reported the psychological impact of the quarantine and lockdown on human health. The study aims to explore the effect of anxiety, stress and psychological distress on health-related quality of life. 50 subjects were taken for the study out of which 22 were males and 28 were females. Four scales were taken for the study which are Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale, Perceived Stress Scale, Impact of Event Scale-R and SF-36 Questionnaire. They were interviewed using these four scales and correlation was interpreted using Pearson correlation test. It was found that the scales for anxiety, stress and psychological distress are negatively correlated with the components of SF-36 questionnaire. Hence, concluding that as anxiety, stress and psychological distress increases, quality of life decreases.
