 Abstract

Mizoram has become the fastest-growing economies among the states of India with a per capita income of Rs 50,021. The state also holds the second-highest GSDP growth during the 11th Five Year Plan (20072012) in Northeast India at 11% surpassing the target of 7.8% which is also much higher than the national average of 7.9%. Agriculture, Public Administration and construction work are among the strongest contributors in the GSDP. As Tribal population comprise a large percentage of the population, Animal farming is an important element thereto. In Mizoram, majority of the people eat and favours pork over other meat, piggery and farming of pig is a vital component of their income additions. This paper will attempt to find particulars of this income generating activity and the connection with education of the farmers.

 Abstract

The mentally challenged child is sensitive of its surroundings and is able to sense the attitude of his/her family members. Keeping this in mind the focus of the present study is to identify mentally challenged children and to investigate the role of home environment in their cognitive growth. To achieve this purpose 100 mild/moderate mentally challenged (MMC) children and 100 normal intelligent children were selected as the sample. The age group of children was from 9 to 11 years. For identifying mentally challenged children the Ravens Coloured Progressive Matrices, teachers rating and school records were used. To assess the home environment of children the Home Environment Inventory by Mishra (1989) was used. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference between experimental and control group on 7 out of 10 dimensions of home environment. The study clearly indicates that a spontaneous cognitive development of children with mental retardation not only requires a supportive, favorable and warm home environment but also controlled and disciplined upbringing.

 Abstract

In Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) , node density plays a vital role in a particular network. Energy consumption of node is a major issue of Mobile Adhoc Network as it decides the lifetime of the network. In MANET powerful battery with less discharge rate is an essential criterion. There are several mechanisms are investigated to conserve the energy of the battery by which nodes are operated. In this paper , we have investigated the effect of energy consumption by varying node density . In simulation work, we have taken an area of 1500mX1500m arranging nodes in grid pattern with 16, 25 and 36 nodes respectively in different Routing protocols. We have used QUALNET as simulation software in our experiments.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper explores how the conflicts between nationalism and religion during and after the Bangladesh Liberation War(1971) play a dominant role among the people of Bangladesh and how they navigate their ways of life after civil war. War always brings countless harms, deaths and destruction, even in nation-building. Accordingly, Bangladeshi women to a large extent became victims of subjugation, repression and rape because of their ethnic, lingual and cultural background. The 1971 Liberation war was fought under the banner of Bengali nationalism that outlined Bengali ethnicity, language and culture. East Pakistan claimed to be a new secular country but after the war being influenced by the political tricks a large number of Bangladeshi people took shelter to extreme dogmatism which led to a catastrophe of a country or nation.

 Abstract

Children find animated cartoons entertaining as the fast-moving coloured images capture their eyes and minds. TV Cartoons can make a heavy influence on children, so a critical analysis of the children-oriented media content is essential. Cartoons of racist and ethnic typecasting affect children in their cognitive domains as well as attitude patterns. This article examines the following problems: (i) How the race-related content and stereotypes have been presented in animated cartoons? (ii) Racist elements in other children-oriented media (iii) The psychological impacts of on children and (iv) Changes over time in media content and presentation.

 Abstract

Beginning with the issue of the importance of the mother tongue in the matter of identity assertion of a linguistic community across different cultures and civilization this paper goes on to argue that despite the colossal need to preserve and promote the mother tongue of any linguistic community the significance of English in a multilingual and multiethnic country like India too is immense. The paper then discusses the kind of hurdles and hindrances caused by the negligence of English in the School curriculum, especially in the context of the pursuit of higher knowledge across various disciplines. It also takes up for discussion relevant excerpts from the National Educational Policy2020 concerning the language policy and the learning of English in school. The paper concludes by advocating the retention of English as a compulsory subject at the secondary level in the curriculum under SEBA .

 Abstract

This article explain and justify Theory of Justice as fairness Which is originally the work of John Rawls, as described in his work The Theory of Justice (1971). To what exactly John Rawls is looking for a theory of Justice. He gave some arguments in order to criticize utilitarianism. Rawls theory of justice builds on the social contract tradition to offer an alternative to utilitarianism. Rawls singles out justice not maximum welfare for well-ordered society as the first virtue of social institutions. Current research in normative economics comes closer to Rawls original proposal of a non-consequentialist theory of justice and then address some of the debates his principles, arguments and evaluates whether his position regarding establishing justice is strong or plausible. This paper is in three sections, in first section explain utilitarianism, in second section Rawls Theory of justice and his argument against utilitarianism and how he established his theory of justice as fairness and in third section give findings and conclusion.

 Abstract

The optimization problems, such as scheduling or project management, in which the objective function depends on the operations maximum and plus, can be naturally formulated and solved in max-plus algebra. A system of discrete events, e.g., activations of processors in parallel computing, or activations of some other cooperating machines, is described by a systems of max-plus linear equations. In particular, if the system is in a steady state, such as a synchronized computer network in data processing, then the state vector is an eigenvector of the system. In reality, the entries of matrices and vectors are considered as intervals. The properties and recognition algorithms for several types of interval eigenvectors are studied in this paper. For a given interval matrix and interval vector, a set of generators is defined. Then, the strong and the strongly universal eigenvectors are studied and described as max-plus linear combinations of generators. Moreover, a polynomial recognition algorithm is suggested and its correctness is proved. Similar results are presented for the weak eigenvectors. The results are illustrated by numerical examples. The results have a general character and can be applied in every max-plus algebra and every instance of the interval eigenproblem.

 Abstract

Traffic load is an important parameter in Mobile Adhoc Network(MANET). MANET is a infrastructureless networking system where battery life-time is a vital factor. Here we have designed a network of 1500x1500 sq. Meter where 25 nodes are arranged in grid pattern using Qualnet simulator. We have calculated average energy required in transmit mode, receive mode and idle mode in physical layer by taking traffic load of 5,10 and 15 in Proactive, Reactive and Hybrid Protocol.

 Abstract

Education is the fundamental indicator of a country's preparedness for the globalized world order. But in this post -covid situation, parents deploy children in gainful labour to supplement the income of family. Today, the educational policies of developing countries are guided by the performance of UNESCO with the current standard being 'Education 2030'.Incheon Declaration and Framework for Action, for the implementation of Sustainable Development. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning is the newly formulated goal. It proclaims to make education an appendage to adulthood through updating of skills, broadening of the knowledge base and application of learning of new vocational circumstances.

 Abstract

The research explaining the effect of emotions in the workplace and conflict management is considerably increasing with time. However, there is a lack of comprehensive understanding of the role of emotional intelligence in conflict management in the banking sector specifically. This review aimed to explain the way emotions and emotional intelligence are significant in the field of workplace studies, and the way emotional intelligence and conflict management are related in context to the banking sector. It sheds the light on the dimensions of emotional intelligence and conflict management styles that were examined in a range of ways in prior studies. Emotional intelligence is related to one's capacity to explain their emotions and conflict management assists in reducing the conflict occurred and consequently providing a positive change in the behaviour. The review focused on the active role of emotional intelligence in managing conflicts in organizational settings and banks. The review further illustrates trends and gaps in this research field, and suggests some theoretical underpinnings, with recommendations for future research.

 Abstract

This paper endeavors to give credit to Subhadra Sen Guptas work on Princess Jodh Bai. Where there are multiple examples of Eurocentric, patriarchal fairytales, this text is one rare example of a modern Indian fairytale. Most female characters are New Women, evolved women, and not submissive, docile playthings in the hands of patriarchy. Like a fairytale, there is an enchanting and gripping quality to the narrative, and the genre of diary lends it a kind of authenticity. Like a fairytale, the narrative ends on a note of positivity and happy life, but much like a Modern feminist text the notion of happy life is mutual respect and equality, and not superficial idea of fancy love story. The historicity of the text lends it credibility and assurance and also serves to initiate the reader to Indian history.
