Abstract History shows that ancient people loved the natural environment because it gave them food, shelter and comfort. Santali people have the indigenous knowledge which is conveyed by their ancestors. Those indigenous geographical knowledge, teaches them to love nature. Environment and its positive use is a key factor for sustainable development. The purpose of the present study was to know different indigenous geographical knowledge of Santals and its conveyance to the next generations, which create love for natural environment and their inhabitants. People were randomly selected from different Santali pockets of Birbhum district, West Bengal. Their opinion was taken through questionnaire and interview schedule. Self reporting technique and observational technique was used to gather information. Implementation of that indigenous geographical knowledge has immense positive effects on environment. The present study aims at exploring that indigenous geographical knowledge which is environment friendly and the process of acquiring those wisdom which make Santals more caring towards nature.

This paper aims to explore the representation of children as narrators in two short stories of Satyajit Ray. This paper endeavors to study the narrative of the child characters to understand their perspectives and complexities and the underlying satire of the society which Ray aims at through his writings. Differentiating between the perspectives of an adult and a child, this paper focuses to see how Ray criticized the ways of the adults through the eyes and words of a child.

This paper is an endeavor to analyze the situation of women under the rule of Dogras. It endeavors to investigate the condition of Kashmiri women and the state of hopelessness and abuse they had experienced during the Dogra rule. The paper likewise centers around the social wrongs of the circumstances such as women trafficking, female feticide and prostitution, and furthermore examines their part in the opportunity battle against the abusive Dogra rule, to remove the dictatorial, dynastic, primitive focused, and strict focused principle of medieval ages. Women live in a critical place in the creating history of mankind. The accomplishment or the position involved or given to women frames a flat out part to decide the net progression of the general public. Women are the pith and essential piece of any general public on the planet, however from days of yore they have been separated/underestimated in all circles of life like political social, instructive and so on. It is additionally a recorded certainty that Jammu and Kashmir was under the whimsical and barbaric rule of the Dogra's during the pioneer time frame. Furthermore, this rule had its effect on the whole people of the state, both men and women.

Ayurveda is a systematic and remarkable view of life founded on understanding.Unveiled by empirical comprehension of the law of nature. The tridosha theory in Ayurveda has been said to have derived from the theory of the three elements of the universe. All physiological and biological functions of human body are regulated by these tridosha. The names of these three doshas, which are roughly equivalent to humour, are vata (wind), pitta (bile), and Kapha (phlegm), corresponding to the three elements of the universe: air, fire, and water. A human being's stable and unhealthy state depends on the usual and abnormal functional state of the person. Tridosha, considering Dosha's physiological significance in preserving the body's homeostasis, Tridosha have been called as root (Dosha Dhatu Mala Moolam hi Shariram) of the body. All the functions of the body could be explained in terms of Dosha, Dhatu and Mala. : One of Ayurveda's specific theories is said to be Tridosha siddhanta. Tridosha works and controls each other and controls each other together and Maintaining the body's balance. The actions of tridoshas are quiet natural because all are identical in origin and they originate together in the body. . In present article the role of Tridosha will be discussed in terms of regulation and expression of these characteristics distinction in living being.

The type-2 fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (T2AHP) proves to be a very useful methodology for multiple criteria decision-making in type-2 fuzzy environments, which have found substantial applications in recent years. The vast majority of the applications use a crisp point estimate method such as the extent analysis or the type-2 fuzzy preference programming (FPP) based nonlinear method for T2AHP priority derivation. The extent analysis has been revealed to be invalid and the weights derived by this method do not represent the relative importance of decision criteria or alternatives. This is a general procedure by which the special model has been derived from this proposed model. The FPP-based nonlinear priority method also turns out to be subject to significant advantages. The numerical examples are tested to show the advantages of the proposed methodology and its potential applications in T2AHP decision-making.

The findings of remote sensing data in the art need to be analyzed and interpreted so that it can provide a worthy study that is more transparent and useful for scientists in different disciplines. In recent years, deep learning techniques have overcome the essential task of dissolving many remote sensing data image processing applications. This work observes an analysis of compatible and appropriate deep learning (DL) applications which is compatible with remote sensing (RS) data covered by a number of scientists to evaluate the state of different DL algorithms. This search therefore involves applying research to DL algorithm forms and their application in various fields of satellite image processing, such as Neural Network (NN), Convolution neural network (CNN) which summarized more RS data information. Finally, a short-lived conclusion on DL strategies that will facilitate a variety of types of hypothetical authoritative frame work for DL modulation in various remote sensing applications

Self-efficacy has gained popularity in psychological research.Psychologist Dr. A. Bandura first introduced the concept of Self efficacy in the year 1977. Self-efficacy is defined by him as how much a person considers himself capable of performing a certain job in a specific situation. Self-Efficacy of worker is a highly influential predictor of learning and motivation to work. In the last 40 years there has been immense use of self-efficacy in the paradigm of Human Resource Development. Several research works have been carried out to prove the positive relation between occupational self-efficacy and work performance in different industries. The present paper is an analytical survey of those research works covering mainly three industries, education, medical and knowledge sharing, from which, the present workers in this field can have an idea of self-efficacy on work performance.

According to WHO and UNICEF (2017), there have been progress in providing safely managed water services to 71% of global population, there are still 844 million people who do not have access to at least basic drinking water services. Contaminated water sources become a major source of waterborne diseases like cholera, hepatitis A, acute diarrhoeal diseases, typhoid and cholera .Household water treatment methods have shown to improve the quality of stored water and reduce the contamination and disease burden. This article briefly describe the commonly used house hold water treatment systems like boiling, domestic chlorination, solar disinfection ceramic filtration and house hold slow sands filter

Regional development is best expressed through the levels of literacy and education, as it directly affects the social, economical and political aspects of a region. Education alone is the instrument that ushers a community into a prosperous path. Though The Experimental World Literacy Program (UNESCO) has declared literacy as a human right, yet it has been denied to several groups directly or indirectly. Gender disparity in literacy is a global issue which has been carried, faced and tolerated since many generations arising largely out of favour-ism towards male child than a female child. An illiterate woman faces more hardships in life than the literate ones. The existence of disparity in literacy amongst the two genders brings sluggish and lope- sided development of the country. Increasing female literacy rates or bridging of the disparity rates means opening opportunities for women in economy, increasing her individual rational thinking and also improving her social status which in turn means attainment of women empowerment. India although been a fast growing economy is crippled by literacy disparity between the two genders. Several programmes and policies have been implemented to improve the situation. Amongst the states, Kerala has the lowest disparity rate while Bihar has the highest disparity rate. In this paper the existence of literacy disparity in the state of West Bengal has been studied. The state stands at 20th position in terms of literacy rates. This paper aims at bringing forth the fact that gender disparity in literacy exist in the state of West Bengal by making an analysis of literacy rates of its various districts following the census data and also aims at providing suggestive measures through which the situation can be improved.
