 Abstract

Recent advancements in transdermal drug delivery have generated interest in finding alternatives to traditional method like needle, creams, and patches. The outer layer of skin known as the stratum corneum, often hinders effective drug delivery, limiting its effectiveness. Microneedles offer a promising solution by creating tiny pathway through the skin, allowing drug to be deliver to the upper layers of the skin. This review cover the various potential uses of microneedle in the field of biomedicine and also discusses different type of microneedle, such as solid, dissolving, hydrogel, coated, and hollow ones which are made from specific material and methods. These microneedle are now being used in various area, such as delivering oligonucleotides, vaccine, insulin etc.

 Abstract

The National Education Policy (2020), as transformative as it is, has been trying to revamp the education system of our country while catering to all the aspects of teaching and learning at all levels. The policy considers language an important aspect in the transaction of teaching-learning process and have suggested certain measures to promote multilingual approach to education, where learners learn in their mother tongue or local/home/regional language alongside other languages. National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020) has laid numerous recommendations for the promotion and preservation of Indian languages, aiming to preserve rich cultural and traditional values while integrating local languages in early learning stages. The purpose of this study is to better comprehend NEP-2020's role in promoting multilingual education and Indian languages, for which the provisions given under NEP 2020 for 'Multilingualism and the Power of Language' are highlighted in the paper. Thus, through comprehensive analysis of NEP 2020's key provisions for multilingualism and power of language and reviewing relevant researches this paper highlights the positive aspects in the blue print and mechanism employed by the Government of India for bringing multilingualism to Indian classrooms. The paper finally focuses on the limitations which the implementers or stakeholders may face when employing the multilingual approach in school education.

 Abstract

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is a financial inclusion scheme launched by the Indian government in 2014 to provide universal access to basic banking services. Prior to PMJDY, only 58.70% of adults had bank accounts and financial exclusion was high in rural areas. The scheme aimed to give everyone access to a bank account, direct benefit transfers, credit, insurance and pensions. As of March 2023, 48.69 crore PMJDY accounts have been opened, with public sector banks accounting for 78% of accounts. This has led to increased financial inclusion, better delivery of government subsidies, access to credit for the rural population and a culture of savings and growth. PMJDY is one of the largest financial inclusion initiatives in the world. This research paper analyzes the performance and impact of PMJDY on financial inclusion over the years. Further efforts should focus on digital financial literacy and infrastructure development in remote regions. PMJDY has played a seminal role in advancing financial inclusion and last-mile delivery of banking services. However, there are still significant gaps in usage and active engagement of these accounts. Active usage, livelihood linkages and maintaining continuity of engagement remain work in progress requiring concerted long-term interventions from all stakeholders.

 Abstract

In this sociological study, we explore the intricate dynamics of Indian tribal women within the development landscape, representing over 8.6% of India's population across 705 Scheduled Tribes. Confronting a "triple disadvantage" due to their gender, tribal identity, and socio-economic status, these women navigate a complex interplay of challenges. The study critically examines how large-scale development projects like mining and dam construction disproportionately impact tribal women, leading to displacement, loss of ancestral lands, and disruption of traditional livelihoods. This situation is further exacerbated by entrenched gender biases within tribal communities, which hinder women's access to education, healthcare, and decision-making roles. However, the resilience and agency of these women shine through as they actively engage in advocating for community rights, managing resources, and driving grassroots initiatives for sustainable development. Utilizing a blend of quantitative and qualitative research methods, the study aims to offer a nuanced perspective on the unique experiences of tribal women in India, highlighting their struggles and triumphs. It seeks to contribute to a more inclusive development paradigm, recognizing the pivotal role of tribal women as key agents of change and architects of their own destinies.

 Abstract

This research paper aims to understand the urban setup of Madurai city in context with the vastu shastra and analyse its town planning principles based on ancient scripture describing principles of design, layout, space arrangement, and spatial geometry which impact the overall urban development of the city. Vastu Shastra, the ancient Indian science of town planning and architecture, aimed at achieving a balance among functionality, bioclimatic design, and religious and cultural beliefs. (Ananth, 1998) Madurai city is one of the ancient historic and cultural cities with standing as the second largest in the Tamil Nadu district of India. It has been a major religious centre with settlements developed in a typical sense of fashion along the core temple which reflects some ancient religious town planning features. Therefore, our research aim is to analyse and compare the structure of cities designed according to Vastu, in the case of Madurai city.

 Abstract

Painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy (PDPN) affects nearly a quarter of people with diabetes, impacting over 100 million individuals worldwide. Despite its high prevalence, PDPN is often underdiagnosed and undertreated, leading to impaired daily functioning, depression, sleep disturbances, financial instability, and a decreased quality of life. The pain associated with PDPN is complex, intertwined with poor sleep and low mood, necessitating a holistic patient-centered approach alongside pharmacological therapy. Managing patient expectations is a significant challenge, as successful treatment outcomes typically involve a 30-50% reduction in pain, and complete pain-free outcomes are rare. While the past two decades have seen a lack of new analgesic agents for neuropathic pain, the future holds promise with over 50 new molecular entities reaching clinical development and showing benefits in early-stage trials. This review comprehensively examines the current approaches to diagnosing PDPN, available tools and questionnaires for clinicians, international guidelines on PDPN management, and existing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options. The synthesis of evidence and guidance from reputable organizations provides a practical guide to treating PDPN. Emphasis is placed on the necessity for future research into mechanistic-based treatments to prioritize the development of personalized medicine in addressing this challenging condition.

 Abstract

This paper introduces an integrated system designed to combat plastic pollution in lakes This paper provides solution for controlling the lake pollution without the human intervention. The data from the sensors and images from the camera module are being captured and yolo algorithm is used to detect the plastic. Then the predicted results are used to calculate the density and this density is compared to a predetermined threshold. If the density exceeds the threshold an email is sent to the authorities with the density values. In conjunction with plastic detection, system contains the water quality sensors to continuously monitor the lake's environmental conditions. Regular updates about the lake ensures the controlling and prevention of the plastic pollution in lakes. This initiative signifies a significant stride in leveraging advanced technology to tackle environmental issues and safeguard the well-being of aquatic ecosystems

 Abstract

Ritu implies the season, characterized by different attributes convey modified impacts on the body along with the climate. Ayurveda has depicted various guidelines and regimens (Charya), in regards to eat less and conduct to adjust occasional varieties effectively without changing the body homeostasis. Ayurveda stressed to save the wellbeing and forestall the infections by following proper eating regimen and way of life routine instead of fix of the sicknesses. The essential hypothesis continued in the Ayurveda is Swasthyashya Swasthya Rakshanam, and that means to keep up with the wellbeing of the sound, as opposed to Aturashya Vikara Prashamanancha, means to fix the sicknesses of the unhealthy. For the support of the wellbeing and anticipation of the sicknesses the Dinacharya (everyday routine), Ritucharya (occasional routine), achara rasayan (Appropriate conduct), rasayan treatment (rejuvenative methodology) and so on have been referenced in the works of art of Ayurveda. Stricter consistence of Ritucharya can forestall the improvement of sicknesses as well as its compounding.

 Abstract

Entrepreneurs play a significant role in any economy. Women entrepreneurship development is a crucial part of human resource development. In Comparison to other countries, the development of women entrepreneurship is very low in India, especially in rural areas. However, middle class women are not too eager to alter their role due to fear of social criticism. The progress is more evident amidst upper class families in urban areas. Participation and their prominence have been commendable in the country's economic growth and development. Many initiatives have been started by United Nations to promote and motivate women entrepreneurship in developing and under developed countries, such as efforts in Sub-Saharan African countries. Looking at the above opportunities, India has also supported many women entrepreneurs by providing loans and advances, helping them to establish their business, making them self- sufficient by providing vocational skills, and constructing many jobs for other women in the respective areas. This paper focuses on current status of women entrepreneurs in India. Data has been collected from number of articles, books, periodicals and websites. The present study has been an exertion to generate awareness and to understand meaning, underlying principle for diversification.

 Abstract

Abstract Most of the women in working are in unorganized sector. The unorganised sector consists of labour force of casual, household and self employed workers without adequate legal protection and support. But this sector offers wide employment opportunities to women, especially in the era of globalisation. The employees skilled with advanced technology and modern education have enough opportunities in this competitive milieu. But in reality most of the women working in this sector are poorly educated, from rural lower income families with lack of enough skills to meet the requirements of modern working environment. The involvement of trade union in this sector is also not up to the level of expectation. Redefinition of roles of trade unions are the necessity of the present-day world for protection and promotion of labour interest.
