The present investigation is an attempt to study the Self Discipline among Student Police Cades and Non-Student Police Cadets with special reference to gender. For this the investigator used Normative Survey Method. Sample for the present study include 300 Ninth standard students from Aided schools of Kottayam District of Kerala State. The data pertaining to the objectives are collected by administering the tool titled Self Discipline Scale constructed by the investigator. The investigator administered the tool on 150 Student Police Cadets and 150 Non-Student Police Cadets of Standard Nine, each category consists of 75 boys and 75 girls. For the analysis of data the investigator used appropriate statistical technique, namely Test of Significance of the difference between Means The findings of the present study revealed that Self Discipline among Student Police Cadets is higher than that of Non Student Police Cadets irrespective of gender. Hence the Student Police Cadet Programme can be widely implemented in schools to promote Self Discipline.

This article deals with the changes in women's status from the Rig- Vedic Period to the present era. Rig Vedic Aryan women enjoyed a position of equality and were respected in family and society. The status of women deteriorated in society. Buddhism and Jainism upheld women's status to some extent, but during British rule, the condition of women in society was far from satisfactory. The Hindu women were victims of Sati, Purdah, female infanticide, child marriage, etc. This condition prevailed almost all over the country. The emergence of a renaissance in the nineteenth century opened the eye of Indian intelligentsia to the disgraceful social condition of women. Religious and social organisations like the Brahmo Samaj, The Aryan Samaj and Ram Krishan Mission were sought for the cause of women. In the twentieth century, some progress was observed in women's education which gave rise to the elevation of women's status vis-a-vis political affairs of the country.

Physico-chemical analysis of groundwater of Basri Khurd village of Neemkathana block is taken to evaluate its suitability for domestics use. Groundwater samples were collected from the bore well for the assessment period from Jan-2016 to Dec-2016. Physico-chemical parameters pH, total hardness, total alkalinity, chloride, nitrate, sulphate, fluoride, and TDS are selected. Methods were used as suggested by BIS (IS 10500: 2012 estimation of acceptable limits and permissible limits for selected parameters. Results for fluoride nitrate and TDS parameters were above the acceptable limit, as the value of any parameter is more or less than the selected standard then the sample is contaminated, so the groundwater of Basri Khurd village is found not suitable for human health for the assessment period.

Product emotion and brand emotion can arouse emotions in consumers that result indifferent kind of behavior. This paper investigates the role of brand emotion and product emotion in consumers? purchase behavior. Although all aspect of human behavior cannot be studied, at least some aspects can be studied scientifically. The present study first glance through the background and literature, then examines emotion and consequently consumers? purchase behavior is studied, at the end comes conclusions and discussions. Given the limited insights provided by the literature into the phenomenon of interest, both exploratory qualitative and quantitative research approaches were deemed an effective means of exploring and examining the data collection for this study. In the qualitative research, semi-structured in-depth personal interviews with fifteen participants, who are volunteered for this study at supermarkets and hypermarkets, was carried out to identify their subjective interpretative patterns, viewpoints, emotional responses, and emotional abilities relative to persuasiveness of advertised price promotions. Data from subjects with consumer emotional dimensions to determine which dimensions influence consumers' attitude toward price promotional ads were factor analyzed Findings related to consumers' beliefs and perceptions of persuasive messages underline the level of consumers' attitudes, involvement, and knowledge about retail price promotions. Knowledge obtained from consumers' emotional responses to emotion-evoking offers and/ or deals also enables retailers better understand what emotions consumers want to experience, and when so as to tailor price promotions to the needs of individual consumer segments.

Yoga is a system of mind-body techniques for improving physical and mental health which includes physical postures, breathing, focused concentration, and meditation. Currently yoga is being taken as a therapeutical agent for health. It not only prevents and cures the disease but also helps in maintenance of positive health. Increased stress, depression and anxiety are the features of modern lifestyle. Due to the adverse effects of drugs in the treatment of anxiety and depression, and in some cases their lack of effectiveness, researchers seek nonpharmacological and noninvasive treatment for these disorders. Yoga would be an attractive option because it is non-pharmacological and has minimal adverse effects.

Most of the earth's coastline is made up of mangrove habitats. The mangroves are hotspots of microbial diversity for a variety of reasons. Additionally, these communities are crucial to the upkeep of this environment. It is understood that these microorganisms play innumerable functions in this ecosystem, but it is also understood that it is impossible to thoroughly cultivate bacteria in any environmental sample. The potential applications of the biomolecule compounds generated by bacteria associated with mangroves are highlighted in this review paper.

Eyes play important role in our day to day lives and are perhaps the most valuable gift we have. This world is visible to us because we are blessed with eyesight. But there are some people who lag this ability of visualizing these things. Due to this, visually impaired people face many challenges when moving in unfamiliar public places.285 million people are estimated to be visually impaired worldwide: 39 million are blind and 246 have low vision. Hence, wearable device should design for such visual impaired people. Smart shoes are wearable system design to provide directional information to visually impaired people. To provide smart and sensible navigation guidance to visually impaired people, the system has great potential especially when integrated with visual processing units. During the operation, the user is supposed to wear the shoes. When sensors will detect any obstacle, user will be informed. The Smart Shoes help the user in moving around independently

Electrophysiological responses obtained for cumulative gustatory responses to sugars were compared as function of age of a worker honeybee for A.mellifera, in local climate. The tests involved only the major naturally occurring nector sugars , such as sucrose, glucose and fructose. Response profiles for each sugar varied considerably within age groups of A.mellifera species . A.mellifera workers in their honey processing phase responded almost equally to sucrose and fructose , whereas to those either in their early nursing phase or commenced foraging , fructose was most stimulative sugar. Bees engaged in comb building were least responsive to sucrose.

A wireless Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET) is a mobile network without any centralized control or fixed routing. It is based on radio-to-radio multi-hoping. All nodes in a MANET have the ability to move around and can link dynamically in any way. Routing in MANETs is a difficult task because of the changing network structure, frequent mobility, and low battery power. Additionally, nodes that are overloaded can use up all of their energy forwarding packets from other nodes, which would make the network unstable and reduce performance. When choosing a path, the traditional AODV routing protocol does not take nodes' energy or load into account, which causes it to perform noticeably worse in conditions of heavy load and rapid movement. This study assesses how well the AODV protocol performs when the load and remaining energy of the node are taken into account when choosing a path. By altering the broadcasting RREQ packet delay period, this method avoids nodes with low energy and high load. The load and residual energy based path selection strategy greatly boosts the network's stability and energy efficiency, according to simulation findings using NS-2.35. The network lifetime, packet delivery fraction, network routing load, and number of missed packets all show nonlinear improvements
