As we travel along the length and breadth of the country the terrain changes and so does the properties of soil of the back-fill in the approach embankments. Though the IRC (Indian Road Congress) codes specify the quality of soil to be used as back-fill, there is no ideal soil. There is always a composition of different soils used as back-fill in the approach embankment. An effort is made to study the effect of the horizontal force of the 70R Tracked Vehicle, i.e., traffic load on the soils of different modulus of elasticity in the approach embankment and the displacements of the soil are obtained, using the laws of simple mechanics. In this study, a carriage way width of 5.3 m is assumed and height of the embankment to be 3 m. It has been concluded that even for soils having higher modulus of elasticity of 320 MPa, there is a significant magnitude of the displacement of 0.79 mm. Hence, attention has to be paid for the effect of lateral load of the vehicle on the approach embankments.

The sensation of pain is the most complex yet elusive of all the stimuli to which human beings are sensitive. Pain is subjective experience and for children, it's possibly the most be wildering and frightening occurrence of their young lives. It is impossible for them to understand why pain occurs or that relief is just around the corner. They know only that something hurts right now. Children respond to pain with behavioural relations that depend upon their age cognitive process."Pain is a more terrible lord of mankind than even death itself. The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of virtual presentation on venepuncture upon the coping level of pain among children of 6-12 years of age undergoing venepuncture in selected hospitals. Methods: The conceptual framework for the study was developed on the basis of Roys adaptation model, which was modified for the present study. A Post-test only design was used in this study. The present study was conducted in municipal corporation hospital. A sample size of 70 children who met the inclusion criteria were chosen for this study of which 35 were taken for the control group and 35 for the experimental group through purposive sampling technique. The study variables were the coping level of pain among children under going venepuncture and virtual presentation of venepuncture. The data collection tools were validated and the reliability was established. After the pilot study, the data for the main study was collected using interview method. The children in the control group were assessed for coping level of pain using FLACC pain Rating Scale without any intervention. In experimental group, virtual presentation of venepuncture, it includes procedure room set up as well as the health personnel and each steps of venepuncture that a child should undergo was shown to each child for a period of 5 minutes during the procedure. Adequate explanations were provided and doubts of children and their parents were clarified. While watching the video, venepuncture was performed and assessment of coping level of pain was done during immediately for 1 minute by using FLACC Pain Rating Scale. The data collection was carried out in three phases and the data was analyzed by using the descriptive and inferential statistics. Result: The study result depicted that In control group majority 68.57% of samples had severe level of pain and 31.43% moderate level of pain. Mean score was 7.74 along with 1.75 SD. In Experimental group majority 80% of samples had moderate level of pain and 20% of samples had severe level of pain. Mean score was 2.26 along with1.46 SD. In control group mean score was 7.74 along with1.75 SD therefore in experimental group mean score is 2.26 and 1.46 SD. DF is 34, t value is 13.42 and p value is 0.00001 which shows virtual presentation on venepuncture is significantly effective Conclusion: The present study concluded that. Pain is an unpleasant experience and the fifth vital sign which need to be assessed and managed appropriately. The perception of pain depends on anatomic, physiologic and cognitive behavioral factors. Most of the children express their pain by means of cry, restless, kicking or legs drawn up, rigid or jerking. So treating the pain is essential with the help of non- pharmacological technique such as distraction which is has the property of analgesic effect for the toddlers who are receiving immunization injection or other invasive procedure. Number of studies proved that distraction is effective in pain reduction among young children. So as nurse's we have to reduce the pain by using different distraction techniques during painful procedure for children as a pre procedural interventions

This article examines Bama's short story 'The Yellow Butterfly', which intricately explores the themes of childhood curiosity, innocence and the subtle indoctrination of violence and detachment in educational environments. The story highlights Sarada, a dedicated teacher, and her efforts to cultivate empathy among her fifth-grade students while addressing their wanton disregard for living creatures. The story juxtaposes children's playful deeds and their alarming disregard for life, epitomized by episodes of violence against butterflies and lizards, reflecting a deeper societal desensitization. Sarada's gentle yet firm approach encourages her students to recognize the emotional implications of their actions, fostering a sense of responsibility and respect for all living beings. By implementing a project on butterfly's metamorphosis, Bama metaphorically illustrates potential for transformation and growth within her students, emphasizing the mentor's crucial role in enduring compassion in individuals. Ultimately, The Yellow Butterfly serves as a poignant reminder of the necessity for nurturing empathy in schools to counter the normalization of violence, thus contributing to the creation of a more humane society

Recycling is already a significant work for all countries. Among the work needed for recycling, garbage classification is the most fundamental step to enable cost efficient recycling. Segregation of garbage is also a primary concern in many nations across the world. Even though we are in the modern era, many people still do not know how to distinguish between organic and recyclable waste. It is because of this that the world is facing a major crisis of waste disposal. Population growth and the acceleration of urbanization have led to a sharp increase in municipal solid waste production, and researchers have sought to use advanced technology to solve this problem. Machine learning (ML) algorithms are good at modelling complex nonlinear processes and have been gradually adopted to promote solid waste management and help of the sustainable development of the environment in the past few years. In this paper, we attempt to classify the garbage waste object in images and classify it into seven categories that are cardboard, paper, glass, metal, plastic (mainly domestic waste), e-waste and medical waste. The proposed approaches are simulated and evaluated based on image processing and machine learning. The models we used include multi-kernel support vector machines (SVM) and random forest (RF). The model works in 80-20% training and testing pattern that provides the 86.01% of accuracy for the testing.

Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is an autosomal dominant disorder. It is a multisystem and progressive disease with cysts formation and kidney enlargement along with other organ involvement (e.g., liver, pancreas, spleen). Cystic kidneys are common causes of end-stage renal disease, both in children and in adults. In the adult population, it is the most frequent genetic cause of renal failure, with 6% to 8% of patients on dialysis in the US. By the age of 60 years, 50% of them need renal replacement therapy. Cysts may be detected in childhood or in utero, but clinical manifestations appear in the third or fourth decade of life. Enlarging cysts destroy the structure of nephrons, ultimately resulting in the loss of renal function. Eventually, ADPKD develops into end-stage renal disease. Currently, there is no effective drug therapy that can be safely used clinically. The conventional approach of management includes dialysis and renal transplantation, which are not affordable by Indian population mainly due to economic reasons. Therefore, exploration of a safe and alternative therapy is needed, which proves to be helpful in reducing the requirement of dialysis and in postponing the renal transplantation. It is a case of Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) which is correlated with Mutravaha Stotodushtijanya Vyadhi. A patient 46 year old presented in the OPD with Complaints of loss of weight, loss of Appetite, fatigue and also brought the RFT report which showed high creatinine, and high blood urea. After clinical examination, she was treated with oral medication for 3 months. She had relief in symptoms and also improvement in RFT reports.
