The lanthanide complex of europium ion with BAA (2-benzoylacetanilide) was successfully synthesized and their photoluminescence features were investigated. The BAA and its complex were characterized by various techniques such as IR, NMR, CHN elemental analysis, UV-visible and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The complex exhibited the luminescence of the europium(III) ion in visible region ascribed to the efficient energy transfer from ligand to the central metal. Upon excitation at 395 nm, the emission spectra of complex showed characteristic peaks of europium ion at 580 nm, 591 nm, 613 nm and 651 nm assigned to 5D0?7F0, 5D0?7F1, 5D0?7F2 and 5D0?7F3 electronic transitions, which originate due to transition between excited 5D0 state and ground 7Fj (j = 0, 1, 2 and 3) state of europium ion. The color coordinates of the complex located in the red region of the chromaticity diagram. These results suggested that the complex can be potential applied for display devices.

Rhizospheric area of plant is populated with diversified array of numerous bacteria. The current investigation was undertaken to isolate, characterize and identify plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) from rhizosphere of Brassica Juncea L. (a variety of mustard). Identification was made with the combined effort of morphological and biochemical characterization. I6s rRNA sequencing technique was also used for some selected strains. On the basis of systematic and scientific investigations a comparative study of each isolate was made. The identified bacterial strains were belonged to genus proteus, Escherichia, Staphylococcus, Achromobacter, Lysinibacillus, Pseudomonas, Bacillus, Streptococcus and enterococcus. It was concluded that a diverse group of bacterial population exist in the rhizosphere of Brassica Juncea L.

To study the potency of aqueous extracts found from Lantana camara (family Verbenaceae) on calcium oxalate crystallization in vitro and the present study is aimed to determine the phytochemical screening Calcium oxalate crystallization was induced by the addition of 0.01 M sodium oxalate solutions. The effect of extract (0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1 mg/ml) was studied by the measuring of turbidity in presence or absence of extract at 620 nm of a spectrophotometer. The herb extract of Lantana camara promoted the nucleation of calcium oxalate crystals, raising their amount but decreasing their size. It also promoted the formation of calcium oxalate dehydrates crystal, despite the presence of calcium oxalate monohydrate particles. Preliminary phytochemical screening of different extracts of Lantana camara revealed the presence of Alkaloids, Saponins, Glycosides, Carbohydrate, Tannins, Flavonoids, Steroids, Triterpenoids, fixed oil and fates. An outcome obtained showed that aqueous extract of leaf has the higher capacity to inhibit the crystal organisation and aggregation as compared to cystone we expected this investigation would provide encouragement for further exploration into new drugs for the prevention and treatment of urolithiasis, this plant may be explored therapeutic agent in future.

The paper looks at how the recession has spread across the Indian economy in 2010-11. This exercise has been undertaken by systematically studying the overall growth rates of Indian Gross Domestic Product (GDP), deciphering the sectoral trends and analyzing the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) data to identify slowdown-affected industries. The year that acted as the turning point for each of these sectors were identified using semi-log regression and graphical analysis. Then an analysis was done on the input-output matrix of India to generate the coefficient and multiplier matrix to understand the interconnectivity between sectors. The analysis shows that 23 out of 30 sectors have been affected.

Abstract Consistent broadcast of location dependent data becomes very popular in recent years. Location dependent data services (LDIS) provide convenient and current data access to the mobile clients. Mobile clients may receive inconsistent data because of overlapped execution of broadcast and update transactions on server data or the data inconsistency may occur due to the location changes of mobile clients. Preserving consistency while broadcasting the location dependent data with the minimum resources of mobile clients is the major research issue. In our paper, we have proposed on demand based location aware data broadcasting algorithm using replicated mobile databases for temporal and non temporal databases. To enforce the data consistency and to reduce the resource utilization of mobile clients, we have used compression and decompression mechanism for client server communication. By considering the direction movement of mobile clients and the distances of data items from the service points, the current data broadcast of is achieved in our proposed work

Various methods that measures proprioception may induce abnormal sensory feedback which may result in inaccurate judgment of proprioception. Newer methods such as shadow goniometer, even though it is not inducing sensory feedback, still requires as a projector, current, protractor, darken room, and wide space. Smartphone applications are widely available, allowing Smartphone to be used as a protractor application for measuring ROM and Proprioception. However psychometric properties this app was not checked previously and it is not known that whether mobile app can be substitute for measuring proprioception. So there exists a need to find and reliability and validity of mobile application. If it is found reliable it can be used as tool for measuring proprioception. So, this mobile app it can be used for measuring joint ROM and proprioception of the joint. Ten healthy subjects were selected with an age group of 20-25. The standard goniometer was used to measure knee flexion followed by Mobile Application measurement of knee flexion. The measurements were repeated with Mobile Application on the second day. The mobile application was found to be a good reliable with interclass correlation of 0.897(p value <.001) and valid tool with correlation coefficient 0.950(p value <.003) in measuring knee flexion range of motion. The study concludes that the mobile application found to be a reliable and valid tool for measuring knee flexion range of motion and can be used to measure proprioception.

Social Media presents its users with immediate access and opportunity to express their opinions and emotions. Social Media connects people world over creating a networked community. In the wake of the recent Siachen avalanche tragedy on February 3, 2016 where in ten Indian Army soldiers were buried alive and one Lance Naik Hanumanthappa was found alive after six days, there was significant out pour of activity on the social media. Social Media witnessed out cry of Indians all over the world and others posting, commenting and tweeting about the incident online. Mainly their prayers and pride in Indian Army. Empathy is basic element of humanity. Not only this tragedy raised empathetic reactions but also elevated the spirit of nationalism within no time. This creates a need to know whether empathy is as wide spread in textual communication as face to face communication and how netizens reacted to this tragedy. This study shows that how one catastrophic event brought out a sense of oneness among the netizens. This research follows the content analysis methodology where in 150 tweets from the day of disaster have been coded and analysed in terms of Empathy, Anger and Others. The study shows that empathy was present in almost all of the posts and tweets along with sense of nationalism and also anger over not providing improved technology to house the soldiers. This study has been done in the back drop of Social presence theory and Medium theory with which empathy can be understood better.
