The concept of active contours models was first introduced in 1987 and has later been developed by different researchers. An active contour is an energy minimizing spline that detects specified features within an image. It is a flexibile curve (or surface) which can be dynamically adapted to required edges or objects in the image (it can be used to automatic objects segmentation). It consists of a set of control points connected by straight lines. The active contour is defined by the number of control points as well as sequence of each other. Fitting active contours to shapes in images is an interactive process. The user must suggest an initial contour, which is quite close to the intended shape. The contour will then be attracted to features in the image extracted by internal energy creating an attractor image.

Population growth, under or over affects the overall socio-economic development of country. In India, growth of population is affected not only by high fertility but also due to lowering morality. Elsewhere in our country India, Muslims in Karnataka are the second largest religious groups. As per the NFHS Reports, total population of Muslim in Karnataka is 15.69% census report over the decades in India always attracted the attention of policy makers, researchers and political leaders. Most of the census reports also reveals that Muslims in India growing at faster rate than other religious groups. This trend led to negative feeling among the majority. They started commenting that Muslims in India outnumber Hindus that they will become majority no sooner than later that Muslims produce number of children and the like. It is disheartening to note that the growth rate of Muslim population is still very high and it is higher than the national average. The fertility rate among Muslims is also higher than the other religious groups. Study on this article is after 60 years of independence Muslims growing at faster rate than any other religious groups, Muslims in India losing sympatier from Non- Muslims, Indian Muslims women bear more number of children, Muslims in India showing negative attitude towards family planning methods and Muslims present fertility rate. For this purposes to analysis and conclusion on the fertility differentials of Muslims and Non-Muslims in Karnataka.

The tribological consideration in the contacts formed by piston ring assembly has attracted more attention over several decades. About 13-17% of total frictional losses observed in I.C. engine and 35-50% of total friction losses are due to PRA(Piston Ring Assembly). This project is a set of experiments were carried out on developed experimental setup at laboratory scale to measure PRA friction of single cylinder engine system indirectly by measurement of power consumption by motorized down method. In experiment the fabricated test rig of single cylinder engine of splendor with crank mechanism and without gear box is used. Crank shaft is coupled with induction motor to drive the engine. A.C. motor is used to drive engine. The experimental results and observations are carried out under different operating conditions in speed ranges from 600 rpm to 1400 rpm. The performance parameters which reduce the efficiency of an I.C. engine are different mechanical losses, like direct friction losses, pumping loss, blow losses, valve throttling losses. These are many geometrical parameters and physical parameters which are responsible for the frictional losses, like stroke to bore ratio, cylinder size and number of cylinders, compression ratio, engine speed, engine load, cooling water temperature, oil viscosity, and number of piston rings. It is understood that the piston ring assembly accounts for the larger part of the mechanical losses in the form of friction in the engine. There are various techniques of measuring piston ring assembly friction. In experiment, motorized test rig is used for non fired engine system of single cylinder engine of splendor and strip method is used to measure friction in terms of power consumption but in this method the effect of cylinder pressure are not measured and test will not be operating at realistic temperatures. Also, power consumption in different operating conditions is measured by dynamometer set up. The dynamometer used is a simple rope brake type dynamometer, which is used to measure the brake power of engine

The one and the best way to study and judge the nation is to judge the status of its women. Because the status of woman is not merely a figure to any one. It represents the culture of any age. To reach at any conclusion about the status of woman it is very much necessary to trace the position of woman in the historical perspective. There were distinct ages in the history which represents different status of woman

In the present study phosphate Solubilizing bacteria were isolated from soil and their effect on germination of Cicer arietinum seeds as well as seedling growth was studied with an objective to develop a biofertilizer and its multifunctional properties will attract more attention in the field of biofertilization and biological control potentiality of Pseudomonas and its ability to excrete phytohormone and antimicrobial metabolites may be used as biofertilizer and biocontrol agents in sustainable agriculture. Genetic content exhibit molecular diversity to evaluate and compare the new Miniprimer-PCR to the two DNA-based typing techniques and the phenotypic characteristics for the purpose of assessing the diversity of microbial community isolated as collection of fluorescent pseudomonads. All the 50 strains of pseudomonas sp such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, P.putida, P. fluroscence, and P. streuzi were shown to have genetic similarity with variation in arrangement of nucleotides in genome. Expression of species within the genus is regulated by reading frame of organism, therefore, with common concentration of DNA most of the species shows architectural motive once NTSYS prediction are used to made a dendrogram UPGMA .Ornamentation of genome represent base substitution thus defining evolutionary distance along with constancy of character within species. All the Pseudomonas isolated looking into their biochemical profile can be used as PGPR and biocontrol agents.

Mosquito-borne disease worldwide in tropical and sub-tropical regions Dengue (DNG-G) fever occurs. Even with dengue fever, which is also known as dengue hemorrhagic fever, blood pressure (shock) and sudden drop in death may occur. A positive PCR result is a definite proof of current infection and it generally confirms the infected serotype. A dengue fever vaccine, denguexia, currently has approved for use in people living in high incidence of dengue fever at age 9 to 45 years. The current review research acute phase is important for clinical care, implementing control measures, surveillance in diagnosis of dengue infection. dengue fever were diagnosed by means of virus isolation, reverse transcriptase PCR or IgM and IgG based ELISA. Given the limitations of all the existing diagnostic methods, there is a need for rapid, sensitive and high throughput methods for detection of dengue virus in early stages of the disease. The review study was conducted with the objectives to evaluate a dengue virus NS1 antigen detection ELISA and a TaqMan based real time RT-PCR for detection of all six serotypes of dengue virus, as diagnostic tools for acute dengue virus infection.

Patrolling vehicles can patrol periodically in the designed area to ensure the safety like men do. The proposed vehicle cannot only save manpower, but also ensure the performance without mistakes caused by man. It is different from the traditional patrolling system which is limited by the manpower and the fixed camera positions. To improve such situation, this paper proposes for safety of alcohol detector and automatic license reader. The position of smart patrolling vehicle vehicles can be detected by the RFID reader as a feedback and be shown on the PC screen and smart phone. The recorded images can be also transmitted back to the server via Wi-Fi system for face tracking and discriminating analysis. On the other hand, the self-propelled vehicle patrolling routes can be modified by the Android smart-phone remote-control module. When some defined events occur, the build-in MSN module will notice users by sending messages to PC and smart phone. Experimental results are given in the paper to validate its performance.
