 Abstract

International trade refers to the activities associated with exchanging goods and services between two or more countries. These exchanges mean importing or exporting or a mixture of both. Importing refers to purchasing goods or services in exchange for money, and exporting refers to selling products or services to any other country in exchange for money. This research paper aims to analyze the trade practices of India and China thoroughly. This paper also intends to analyze the recent times trade practices of these countries. International trade includes foreign financial investment, Multinational corporations and foreign employees. Any country that is growing in all of these sectors is showing signs of being globalized. India and China both have some comparative advantages, which causes the start of trading, as there may be some products that a country needs in substantial quantity but cannot produce domestically. These situations can cause the initiation of international trade, especially if the domestic cost of production of anything is higher than that of importation. A detailed assessment of the trade relations between India and China has been conducted in this research paper.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT Conflicts establish their own pace as development occurs. In the ever-expanding arena of e-commerce, where digital landscapes and commercial endeavors collide, there is a tight spot called domain name disputes. In the age of the internet, domain names play a significant role in identifying brands and influencing consumer views. The difficulty of cybersquatting and brand protection resides at the center of this juncture. E-commerce businesses frequently encounter situations where their trademarks are replicated in domain names registered by unauthorized individuals. These businesses heavily rely on internet branding. Applying intellectual property rules to these disputes allows trademark owners to take legal action to safeguard their brand's reputation and identity. Another noteworthy aspect is the preemptive registering of keyword-rich domain names to redirect traffic; rivals may take advantage of this. No devoted legislation addresses this problem directly, which defines the domain name dispute landscape in India. India uses an integration of prevailing intellectual property laws, cyber laws, the doctrine of passing off, and domain-specific policies to handle disputes, in contrast to certain nations with clear legal frameworks for domain name issues. The lack of specialization indicates a regulatory deficit despite the existing legal framework providing avenues for resolution. Due to the fact that e-commerce crosses national borders, it is crucial to have a thorough awareness of international intellectual property rules in order to resolve disputes concerning domain names registered in several countries. The delicate relationship between e-commerce and domain name conflicts is examined in this paper, along with potential legal remedies, the necessity for precise regulation regarding domain name disputes, and any emerging legal difficulties. The adequacy of current remedies, such as the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) is evaluated in the research. It emphasizes the importance of international treaties in resolving cross-border disputes by addressing jurisdictional complications. This paper through a qualitative approach emphasizes the necessity of comprehensive and flexible remedies that protect online commercial integrity and intellectual property rights by examining these aspects.

 Abstract

The persistent, recurrent acid-peptic illness known as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is marked by a recurrence of bothersome reflux symptoms. Since it's a chronic illness, treatment must be ongoing. Patients usually start with simple lifestyle changes, and since they are easy to implement and inexpensive, they should be kept up even when more effective therapy are started. Currently, the most significant and effective medical treatment is powerful acid-suppressive medication. Whereas healing of the oesophageal mucosa is achieved with a single dosage of any proton pump inhibitor (PPI) in more than 80% of instances. PPI is still the best course of action, and it is "on-demand". PPIs have shown to be an affordable, long-term medication. By reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, PPIs lessen the symptoms of acid reflux into the oesophagus and heartburn. Studies with extended follow-up show that PPIs are a safe, effective, and acceptable treatment.

 Abstract

This paper deals with the analysis of beam on elastic foundation using finite element method. Winkler model is used as the foundation models, in which Winkler model is used because of its simplicity. Winkler assumes that the base of the beam consists of independently and closed spaced springs and stiffness of these springs explains the behavior of the elastic foundation. The efficient method for solving beams resting on elastic foundation is finite element method. It is easy to account for material non-linearity, non-linear soil effects, beam weight and boundary conditions. Numerous issues inside the building bundles related with soil-structure interaction can be displayed by utilizing a beam on elastic basis. Validation, convergence study and parametric study are carried out in this paper with a numerical example.

 Abstract

The socio-economic conditions of the tribal people of India are very poor even after so many years of freedom. Their living conditions are still low. The tribal development schemes had very little impact on the life of majority of the tribals. Growth is still not making any headway towards overall tribal development available and accessible to the tribal population of India. Steps should be taken to make these people informed about the development schemes. In India the efforts are being given to dissipate the various information in the society particularly in the tribal community in order to increase the standard of life. To enumerate some realistic measures and benefits of NEP -2020 for the development of elementary education in the tribal areas in Dakshin Dinajpur district. The researcher gathered data from the schedule tribe people, in the Gangarampur block. The population is 2,37,628 of which the Schedule Tribe population is 32,933. The lack of institutional infrastructure, dearth of parental education, social prejudices, gender disparity are the prime obstacles in the development of elementary education of the schedule tribe students in Gangarampur block. The schedule tribe literacy rate at the elementary level of Dakshin Dinajpur district was very poor due to their high dropout. The educational development of schedule tribe was much needed and so some development measures, awareness programme and benefits of NEP -2020 should be adopted by the Government.

 Abstract

Bharti Mukherjee's narratives depict diasporic identities undergoing endless transformations, exploring the fluidity of identity ideologies; however, a closer reading reveals a contradiction as her protagonist's grapple with the challenge of letting go of their traditional and cultural selves. This paper aims at rediscovering the novel "Jasmine" which intricately weaves a narrative within the realms of postcolonial identity, subjugation and feminist perspectives. Centred around Jasmine, a young village girl from Punjab, the story unfolds as she embarks on an undocumented journey to the United States, a path where her destiny undergoes a profound "rewriting." It is a story of dislocation and relocation as the title character continually sheds lives to move into other roles, moving further westward while constantly fleeing pieces of her past. The narrative offers a nuanced exploration of identity and societal constructs.

 Abstract

The lack of menstrual education among adolescent girls in the 21st century is a pressing issue perpetuated by societal taboos and cultural restrictions. This ignorance about menstruation and hygienic practices can lead to adverse health outcomes. UNESCO's research shows a connection between menstruation and girls dropping out of school, a widespread challenge. In India, up to 1 in 5 girls leave school after their first period. Many schools worldwide struggle to provide adequate facilities for girls. Raising awareness and championing formal menstrual hygiene management (MHM) education within and outside schools is our goal. Our mission includes challenging the stigma surrounding menstruation and providing menstrual health education from an early age. This initiative can impact various aspects of a girl's life, including education, economic opportunities, health, participation, and dignity. The menstrual education status of secondary school students will be critically evaluated in our study, with emphasis placed on the necessity for proactive measures and enhancements. The goal of this research is to instigate positive change in the menstrual education landscape, ensuring that knowledge and support are received by girls. It is deemed essential to initiate improvements and take initiative to overcome these challenges.

 Abstract

From optical image evaluation point of view Strehl ratio is an important quality criterion. It has direct relation with the image formation process. Strehl ratio is commonly defined as the ratio of image irradiance at the diffraction focus with apodisation to one without apodisation. For small aberrations, Strehl ratio is an approximate measure of the fraction of the diffracted radiant flux that is concentrated in the central bright core at the image of the point object. The Strehl ratio maximizing means increasing the brightness of the image. Several researchers have investigated and developed various methods to maximize its value. Strehl ratio is not a physically measurable quantity;

The pathophysiology of neuropathy in diabetes is complex, and this, along with the lack of a straightforward treatment regimen, may have contributed to insufficient attention to this complication. However, there have been gradual advancements in the clinical management of diabetic neuropathy, including the proposal of diagnostic criteria and clinical staging for early detection of nerve deficits and treatment guidance. Recent progress in the pathogenesis of diabetic neuropathy has been made, shedding light on the underlying pathology of this condition. The emergence of pain-relieving agents has also contributed to improving the quality of life for patients experiencing symptomatic neuropathy. Despite these advances, there is still a need for a clearer understanding of the mechanisms leading to the development of diabetic neuropathy, the identification of reliable clinical indices for nerve deficits, and the prediction of prognosis. In summary, while diabetic neuropathy poses challenges, ongoing research and advancements in clinical management are gradually improving our understanding and ability to address this complication associated with diabetes.

A 70-year-old woman presented to our emergency department with a severe left-sided headache. The headache's location and accompanying symptoms are consistent with paroxysmal hemicrania. On workup, a cervical computed tomography scan incidentally revealed a righ t carotid body tumor, and the patient was referre d to vascular surgery. After the resection of the tumor, the patient recovered well in the following months. Furthermore, she no longer experienced any additional headache episodes, which were likely caused by the carotid body tumo

 Abstract

Plants are used for a variety of purposes. The history of natural product is relatively old and dates back to the time when early man became conscious of his environment. Cultured and civilized man has been on earth for two or three million years. He has struggled for his life for the era. Medicinal oils are receiving increasing attention worldwide, as they are effective sources of several bioactive compounds. Several studies highlight the beneficial effect of oils extracted from medicinal plants on curing human diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, diarrhea and obesity. Oils obtained are either used for edible purposes or medicinal uses and cooking purposes. Recently, oil-yielding plants have attracted more attention due to an increasing demand for their vegetable oils, livestock feed, pharmaceutical biofuels and other chemical industries. The present study includes 22 different plants available from Utkarsha Vanaushadhi Udyan. Different plants parts of various species are used as medicinal oil for treating various diseases. For each species the following information is provided: Family, Common name, Medicinal uses along with photographs of plants and their oil products.

 Abstract

Bruce Lee, the legendary martial artist listed as one of the 100 influential men of 20th century , who was also an actor, philosopher, director and screenwriter gained popular recognition both for his style of unarmed combat as an exponent of Chinese martial arts as well as an actor for his acting skills, grimaces and fighting styles through his films both in Hollywood and Asian films. He was the one who contributed to the surging interest of martial arts and never- seen- before armless action scenes among the audience. But besides popularising martial arts in films , he through his action films , threw a challenge to the long-running racist stereotyped presentation of asians to the audience of the West including that of Hollywood. This paper will try to explore in brief the history of asian(esp. Chinese) stereotyping in films and how Bruce Lee's advent in films broke this barrier of typecasting .

 Abstract

Solar Rooftop PV systems are becoming more popular these days as it is proven to lower electricity bills and potential contributory to lessen CO2 emissions. Three models of 1.215 kWp solar rooftop PV systems, namely: on-grid, off-grid and hybrid were designed and installed at Room EB217 of the College of Engineering building, Tarlac State University, Romulo Boulevard San Vicente, Tarlac City in order to determine their individual characteristics in terms of (1) design analysis and wiring diagram; (2) solar PV System components and total cost of installations; (3) amount of savings incurred in the solar generation and (4) rate of return and recovery period. The result showed that for the same amount of solar panel capacity, the on-grid model has the simplest design and wiring diagram as compared to the off-grid and hybrid models. Also, the on-grid model has the least number of components and no battery and thereby it is the most economical model to install since it is 58% cheaper than the two other models. In terms of actual amount of savings incurred in the solar generation, the hybrid model offers the highest savings of P2,798.40 per month, followed by the on-grid model at P2,126.40 per month while the off-grid model had the lowest monthly savings of P1,017.60 per month. Among the three models, the on-grid offers the highest ROR on investment at 2.72% per month and the shortest period of recovery of 3 years. The hybrid had an ROR of 2.08% per month and a recovery period of 4 years while the off grid had the lowest ROR of 0.75% per month and the longest recovery period of 11 years. It is concluded that the on-grid model offers the most feasible and viable alternative in solar rooftop PV system design and installations.

 Abstract

Branding was initially developed to distinguish between similar products. It is now possible to purchase clothing items (products) based on the psychological requirements they represent rather than only their physical attributes and need-satisfying qualities. The expansion of the branded apparel sector in India is partly attributable to the increasing brand recognition that has existed since the 1980s and the ease that ready-to-wear clothing provides (Indian Retail Report, 2020). Young customers are crucial to the market because they have a significant impact on how spending power is distributed among an increasing number of product categories, including clothing (Margret Hogg, 1998). In light of the fact that they are the ones that open up new opportunities for fashion firms, young consumers are therefore crucial for marketers and researchers. This study attempts to comprehend from the past reviews the variables and motivations behind buying branded clothing. It also examines numerous brand-related factors that have an impact on the purchasing choices of the millennials (Gen Y). The study will provide suggestions for improving the National Textile Policy 2000's marketing and promotional strategies for the textile industry, and specifically ready-made apparel, to the government and decision-makers. The study will provide useful insights and recommendations to enable CMAI, the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India, to make better and informed decisions when developing their marketing and communication strategies to appeal to millennials, and thereby aid in growth of this industry in economy based on the review of literature been conducted.
