 Abstract

World's one of the oldest medical system Ayurveda has a unique therapy that is Marma therapy which is used to improve pranic healing(Bio-energy), growth and development as well as physical and mental well-being very easily. Marmas( vulnerable points) are 107 in number present our body and has secret physiology which developed immunity power in our body and mind. In India Bharatanatyam also running and developing in our society for a long time which also improves the physical and mental condition. In my study on marma therapy giving pressure and massage during Bharatanatyam followed by benefits of Marma therapies, get easily at the time of Bharatanatyam. I have vividly looked after the Bharatanatyam practitioners that their energy level, fitness, and physical and psychosomatic development. It has been shown with question-answer as well as some bio- chemical tests. I have found the Bharatanatyam practitioners improving their courage, confidence, improving immunity power and overall happiness. That is likely with marma therapy.

 Abstract

From 1 Mar 2014, Schedule H1 has been created and modified by the Drug and Cosmetic Act of 1945. It Has Been Expecting For A While But Now that it's there Irrational Prescription of Antibiotics and Other Drugs by Doctors and Chemists, Force, Needs Wide Publicity and a Critical Look, From All Physicians and Healthcare Providers in General and the Community of Pharmacologists and Pharmacists. Antibiotic resistance is on the rise, and people are becoming more and more tolerant of psychoactive drugs. Third- and fourth-generation antibiotics, anti-tuberculosis medications, and a few habit-forming pharmaceuticals such psychotropic drugs are therefore included in Schedule H1 substances. In India, a group of prescription medications known as Schedule H is included as an appendix to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945, which were first adopted in 1945. These are medications that require a prescription from a licensed physician in order to be acquired over-the-counter. The Drugs and Cosmetics Act and Rules apply to the production and distribution of all drugs. On the recommendation of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization[1] at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, which is a division of the Drugs Technical Advisory Board, it is occasionally changed. The most recent schedule H (2006) includes 536 medicines, ranging from zuclopenthixol to abacavir. However, Schedule H rules are less strictly enforced in India than Schedule X statutes, which need a stricter documentary trail.

 Abstract

: Mental disorders during pregnancy and postpartum period can affect the quality of life of mother, baby and the whole family. Psychoeducation can be offered to those at risk to prevent or reduce the incidence of these disorders, but the most appropriate time for such intervention is not determined yet.Postpartum depression and its effects not only involve mothers and their children but it will also affect their families. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effect of mothers receiving peer support on postpartum depression. Methods: 100 primiparous women participated in a randomized clinical trial. The intervention group received phone calls by their peers from the last three months of pregnancy until two months after delivery. The control group only had access to routine care. Both groups in the second month after delivery were checked regarding depression using Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale. Data analysis was performed using independent t-test, chi-square test and covariance analysis. Results: Mean depression score before intervention was 13.92 (3.23) in the control group and 14.06 (3.12) in the intervention group. In week 8 after delivery, mean score of depression in control group was 13.29 (4.08) but in the intervention group it was reduced to 10.25 (4.18). Difference in the reduction of mean postpartum depression score between the two groups showed statistically significant difference (p < 0.001). Conclusion: This study showed that peer support was effective in the prevention of postpartum depression, therefore, it is recommended to be used in the reduction of postpartum depression.

 Abstract

An RP-HPLC method was developed and validated for simultaneous quantification of Cefixime and Ofloxacin in different dosage forms. The method employed a C-18 column with a mobile phase composed of acetonitrile and 0.1% phosphoric acid. The flow rate was set at 1.0mL/min and detection was performed at 275nm. The method was validated for linearity, accuracy, precision, specificity, and ruggedness. Linearity was determined over the range of 2-12 ?g/mL for Cefixime and 5-30 ?g/mL for Ofloxacin with a correlation coefficient of greater than 0.99. the accuracy of the method was determined by repeatability, intermediate precision and stability studies. The results of the validation studies showed that the developed method is precise, accurate, specific and rugged for the simultaneous quantification of Cefixime and Ofloxacin in different dosage forms. The RP-HPLC method developed can be successfully applied for the quantitative analysis of Cefixime and Ofloxacin in different dosage forms.

 Abstract

The field of nanorobotics has made significant progress. Nanorobotics is a new field that has sparked a lot of attention among pharmaceutical researchers and drug delivery scientists. Nanorobots administer drugs to specific areas, seeking to make them far more effective and reducing the risk of unwanted side effects. These nanorobots are made of nanomaterials and will complete the mission. Nanomaterials are materials with a dimension of 1 to 1000 nanometers. Nanomaterials have holds great potential in drug delivery through passive or active targeting mechanisms throughout the last few decades. A brief classification of nanorobots is addressed below, depending on technological advancement, morphology characteristics, functional aspects, power supply, and biohybrid mechanisms. Ultimately, several cancer therapy, surgery, regenerative medicine, cell therapy, gene therapy and biomedical applications are reviewed. The field of nanorobotics has made significant progress. However, a number of concerns and challenges must be overcome before nanorobots may be used in patient care.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT A Retrospective Study Of Broad Ligament Fibroids On Ultrasonography And Computed Tomography Scan. Background: Among the extrauterine fibroids, broad ligament fibroids are most common to occur although its overall incidence being rare. Because of its rarity it poses specific diagnostic difficulties causing an error in making the final diagnosis and therefore the management. A huge degenerated broad ligament fibroid can mimic adnexal mass on clinical examination and at imaging so extrauterine leiomyoma should be kept in the differential diagnosis of adnexal mass. Materials and Methods: A retrospective study was conducted from December 2012 to November 2022 in MVJ Medical College by a computer-assisted search of the reports of pre-operative ultrasonographic and computed tomography images of all the patients who underwent surgery for suspected broad ligament fibroids were reviewed. A total of 10 such cases were found and included in the study. Results: 5 (50 %) were in the age group of 30 to 40 years, 3 (30%) patients were in the age group (below 30 years) and 2 (20%) were in the age group (above 40 years). Six lesions (60 % of the cases) were seen in left adnexa and four lesions (40% of the cases) were seen in right adnexa. Four of the patients were clinically presented as mass per abdomen associated with lower abdominal pain. Three of the patients were presented with pain abdomen. Three of the patients were asymptomatic. On ultrasonography six of the lesions were solid, well-defined and hypoechoic in echotexture, three lesions were heterogenous in echotexture and showed cystic areas within and one large lesion showed mixed echogenicity, multiple thick septations with solid cystic components. On NCCT six lesions showed soft density and four lesions showed mixed density. On CECT six lesions showed mild homogenous enhancement, three lesions showed heterogenous enhancement with central non enhancing areas and one lesion showed mixed density with enhancing thick septa and solid components. Conclusion: Broad ligament fibroid is a type of extrauterine fibroid occur infrequently, may mimic malignant adnexal tumours at imaging, and present a diagnostic challenge. So, the main role of imaging is to differentiate it from a possible pedunculated subserosal fibroid or ovarian tumour.

 Abstract

The books of Amitav Ghosh are exemplary of postcolonial ideas, which in their purest form denounce borders and limits while celebrating the inevitability of some forms of border crossing. The themes of boundary crossing and the murkiness of existing borders are central to Ghosh's The Hungry Tide (2004). Members of the novel's cast of characters are those who, in the 1940s and 1950s, were forced to flee from East Pakistan to India. The tale depicts the hopeless battle of islanders in the Bay of Bengal to survive extreme hardship. In terms of geography, the novel's setting is a terrifyingly open wasteland. To keep up with the ever-changing patterns of nature, the land's land and water's water limits are always shifting. (p. 7). Under these conditions, the refugees have no choice but to take direct action against the Indian government for its inability to protect them. Those from Bangladesh who fled to Morichjhapi have been labelled as unlawful squatters. While justifying their actions by citing the necessity to protect forests and wildlife preserves, the government harassed, threatened, and even murdered these evacuees. As a result of persecution, many people moved often, preferring to settle in low-lying locations where they were less likely to attract unwelcome attention. In 1979, hundreds of refugees were slaughtered as the government attempted to remove them from the island. Ghosh depicts a nonaligned space of cosmopolitan arguments and their accompanying difficulties being handled without any prejudices owing to the acceptance of global culture, even in such a worst-case scenario. The colonists make do with what they have, despite the area's drawbacks. Ghosh's idea of human value as universal is on display in his work The Hungry Tide, which tells the tales of a group of people who are mostly unknown outside of India.

 Abstract

Blockchain has been an interesting research area for a long time and the benefits it provides have been used by a number of various industries. Similarly, the healthcare sector stands to benefit immensely from the blockchain technology due to security, privacy, confidentiality and decentralization, nevertheless, the Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems face problems regarding data security, integrity and management. This paper deals with the use of blockchain technology to transform EHR system and depict how blockchain can be the solution to these issues. We present a framework that could be used for implementation of blockchain technology for in healthcare sector for EHR. The aim of our publication is to implement blockchain technology for HER and also to provide secure storage of electronic records by defining access rules for the users of the proposed framework. The data is encrypted by the algorithm known as SHA-256. It is used to encrypt all the data of the patients into a single line 256-bit encrypted text which will be stored in the blocks of Ethereum. These records are used for consultation as well as for the creation of historic family health information tree that keeps track of health issues and diseases.

Some forces exerted on the steps while the people climbing up or down in the staircase due to the weight of the human body. These forces on the steps are generally wasted. The mechanical energy of the foot step that is exerted by people during climbing up or down the step is utilised to operate the air pump to produce the compressed air, and this is stored in the compressed air storage tank. In the present work, the stair case setup is developed which contains three steps and the air pumps are attached under the last two steps. The outlet of each pump is connected to the air storage tank. The open coil helical springs are attached to the steps for retaining the steps in their original position. The setup is experiment by the person walking on the stair case, and the number of steps for each 1kg/cm2 pressure rise in the storage tank is determined up to the pressure of 5kg/cm2.

 Abstract

It has been found that there has been a limited provision of health facilities in the prisons of women in India. Due to a lack of infrastructure, the unwillingness of jail authorities, and funding-related problems, the overall health and medical support system for female inmates is not at all satisfactory despite several government proposals. However, given the updated and amended national Prison Manual, thorough progress is being witnessed as long as the health perspective of female prisoners is concerned. However, there are several other existing problems like taking care of mental health issues of the female offenders which are deliberately neglected but need prominent and immediate attention to achieve sound health goals among the inmates in a true sense. The paper here had attempted to give a detailed insight about the health condition of the women prisoners in India. It has provided in-depth data based on the availability of the health and nutritional facilities within the female prison where women convicts are serving their sentences. Government initiatives that are yet to be initiated like offering standard calorie diet to the women prisoners, health screenings, and inspections from the side Chief Medical Officer have been discussed here with necessary elaboration.
