Reservoir sedimentation has been common phenomena in Water Resources Engineering projects globally. The excessive higher rate of reservoir sedimentation causes problem in reservoir operation and maintenance for designed life period of hydraulic structure. Kodar reservoir of district Mahasamund [CG] has been selected for reservoir sedimentation study through modern approach along with relevant ground truth and validation of field data. The Remote Sensing & GIS technique have been adapted as modern approach. The visual cum digital interpretation of IRS LISS III & IV Satellite data of path-row 102/57 has utilized. The temporal satellite data belonging to pre-monsoon and post-monsoon season for two years: October 2007 to October 2009 has revealed the status of reservoir sedimentation. The gross storage and dead storage of Kodar reservoir have been analyzed along with major governing factors. The quantification of reservoir sedimentation has assisted in annual rate determination for overall appraisal of reservoir sedimentation. The biological conservative measures for the area seem to be more appropriate due to ongoing paddy rich cultivation in Kharif and Rabi period, as being the part of CG Bowl of Rice towards the minimizing reservoir sedimentation.

The study analyzes the styles in cinematography adopted by Roger Deakins and attempts to understand if there is a signature style followed throughout his works. Roger Alexander Deakins is an English cinematographer known for his class and finesse in cinematography. Qualitative content analysis on the three selected films- The Shawshank Redemption, Blade Runner 2049 and Prisoners is employed to decipher the nature of various cinematic tools employed by Deakins. Comparison between the style of cinematographic techniques is also identified through the study. With changing technologies and change in modern aesthetic concepts, there have been different methods by which cinematographers have adapted and hence this research will explore how Roger Deakins have adapted to the contemporary changes. Two of the selected movies; Blade Runner 2049 and Prisoners is directed by Denis Villeneuve and the other i.e., Shawshank Redemption by Frank Darabont. The key findings from the research suggest that Roger Deakins has no style that he follows throughout his films but is his powerful way of composing each of the frames for the films remain constant. He focuses on the story more than creating a solid style to his area of work. The camera movements being steady and with little or no shake gives his frames a more structured look and feel.

Inverted classroom approach is reversing the conventional approach of a classroom- the lessons viewed through e-content or pre-recorded videos at home and achieving mastery over the content through activities and experiences with peers in the classroom under the supervision of the instructor. The purpose of the inverted classroom is to develop the learners' higher-order thinking skills, reach the learner's satisfaction levels, and improve the learners' academic achievement. The researcher developed conventional and inverted teaching-learning strategies for teaching selected units from the secondary education curriculum and conducted experiments in the experimental and control group of learners randomly chosen from five schools. Simultaneously, data on learning satisfaction of the learners following conventional and inverted classroom strategies were collected. Data analysis revealed a marked improvement in academic achievement and learners' learning satisfaction following the inverted classroom approach. The results depicted the success of inverted classroom approach and educationally implies applying the same from school to higher education level to achieve superior learning outcomes.

An adverse drug reaction is an unwanted, toxic effect of a drug that encountered at usual therapeutic dosages. The intensity of such reactions ranges from minor complications to serious life-threatening conditions or even death of the individual. Despite selective toxicity, antibacterial agents can produce harmful effects and contribute a large portion of drug-associated untoward reactions. Some antibacterials like chloramphenicol, aminoglycosides, tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones etc. exhibit different adverse reactions, especially in hepatic and renal diseases. Examples of adverse drug reactions include hypersensitivity reactions (penicillins), superinfections (tetracyclines) and direct tissue toxicity viz. aminoglycoside induced nephrotoxicity, tetracyclines induced hepatotoxicity, fluoroquinolones associated arthropathy, chloramphenicol associated bone marrow suppression and so on. The adverse reactions do not remain constant with all the patients but vary according to the genetic makeup of an individual. Similarly, drug interaction due to combination therapy further may increase the possibility and magnitude of adverse drug reactions. This review is an effort to bring forth commonly encountered adverse drug reactions and drug interactions associated with various antibacterial drugs in veterinary practice.

In order to verify risk factors, clinical, bacteriological and therapeutic characteristics of ecthyma gangrenosum in the pediatric population. We retrospectively reviewed all cases diagnosed with ecthyma gangrenosum from January 2013 to September 2019 at Mohammed VI University Hospital in Marrakech. We report eleven cases (six girls and five boys, aged between 5 days and 15 years). Medical history showed two cases of primary immunodeficiency, a case of acquired immunodeficiency, two cases of malignant hemopathy, a premature newborn, a case with reccurent infections. All patients presented at the emergency department for skin lesions associated with fever. Bacteriology of skin sample isolated Pseudomonas aeroginosa in all cases. All patients received combined antibiotic therapy. Nine patients evolved favorably and two patients died from septic shock. Ecthyma gangrenosum was the presenting manifestation of chronic granulomatous disease in one case. Ecthyma gangrenous is a serious infection, early and appropriate antibioc therapy is primordial to improve the prognosis. Immunological evaluation is recommanded to rule out unkowen immune deficiency.

Abstract:: The maximum amount of sensor energy is consumed during communication. To prolong the Network Lifetime of a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), there is a need of optimum utilization of sensor energy. Scheduling in MAC layer plays an important role in the design of WSN to avoid collision and conserve more energy. Distributed energy aware MAC protocol (DE-MAC) is one such efficient MAC Protocol that addresses the energy management problems in WSN. This paper proposes an extension of DE-MAC technique by allocating varying time slots to the nodes based on their residual Energy level. Energy of all the nodes is exchanged at regular intervals and accordingly the nodes with lesser energy are allocated lesser time-slots for transmission and are made to sleep more. Simulation results for Average residual energy, Throughput and Packet delivery ratio are compared with DE-MAC for performance analysis.
