Polarizing optical microscopic studies reveal that the EPAP Valerate is having single phase variant nematic and it is also enantiotropy. The low frequency static dielectric constant and microwave frequency, dielectric permittivity increased with the increase of the concentration of the solute in non-polar solvent benzene at room temperature. The optical refractive index value decreased with the increase of the concen-tration of the solute in a non polar solvent benzene at room temperature. Dipole moment value obtained from the dilute solution method is sufficient to determine the dipole moment in liquid crystal phase

Tuberculosis accounts for up to 4% of acute pericarditis and 7% cases of cardiac tamponade. It is seen in endemic regions like Asia and common with background of immunodeficiency. Prompt treatment can be life saving but requires accurate diagnosis. We report a case of 36-year-old immunocompetent male who presented with sudden breathlessness along with history of weight loss, fever, chills and dry nonproductive cough since one and half month without any prior history of tuberculosis or history of exposure to tuberculosis. The case was diagnosed with pericardial tuberculosis by correlating clinico- radiological findings and pericardial fluid examination. The patient was started on antitubercular treatment and showed improvement.

Main purpose of this paper is to study the problems of Anganwadi Workers on various Government Scheme. Method use in this paper Anganwadi centres were selected by stratified sampling technique. Out of 678 Anganwadi centre select 150 in survey of four taluka out of eleven taluka in Uttar Kannada District. The function of this paper is interviewing Anganwadi workers for their literacy status, years of experience, their knowledge about the services rendered by them and problems faced by them. Result in this paper is most of AWWs were from the group of between 20-25 years; half of them were matriculate and 52.34% workers had an experience of more than 5 yrs. Majority of AWWs had a knowledge assessment score of above 55.46%. They had best knowledge about nutrition and health education. 20.31% of the AWWs workers were complained of inadequate honorarium, lack of help from community and other problems were infrastructure related supply and more work overload and record maintenance. Conclusions in this paper is Majority of AWWs were beyond 35 years of age, matriculate, experienced, having more than knowledge related to their job etc. Complaints mentioned by them were honorarium related and more workload less salary etc.

Globalization promotes free movement of economic activities across political boundaries of the states. Movement of goods and services is an indicator of globalization. When we are talking about globalization, we assume and visualize a world divided into fragments by international boundaries by the movement of goods and services and the movable factors of production across the borders towards higher returns. These movements should take place till the differences in the returns offered in the different corners of the global economy are ironed out and the differentiated world becomes truly integrated into a global village. The question arises how far it is true for human migration or movement of people across the globe.Migration serves not only as an instrument to adjust the composition of national and regional labour markets but also provides responses to the needs for skills and personnel resulting from technological advances, changes in market conditions as well as industrial transformations. It offers a potential to replenish declining work forces as well as to inject workers, potentially increasing innovation and mobility in work forces. The major objective of this paper is to theoretically as well as empirically search the causes of international migration for evidences of globalization

Ethical marketing should be part of business ethics in the sense that marketing forms a significant part of any business model. Business ethics is one of the most complicated and contentious subjects in human history. Ethical marketing refers to the application of marketing ethics into the marketing practices. The establishment of marketing ethics has the potential to benefit society as a whole, both in the short- and long-term. The relationship between doing the right thing and making money has been studied by both academics and business leaders for years with little consensus reached. A survey by the Ethics Resource Center found that 43% of respondents believed their supervisors lacked ethical integrity. The world was suffering through a crippling economic downturn made worse by unscrupulous business practices. The vast disparity between corporations and their customers has made ethical business practices an extremely relevant issue. It is found that businesses realize the importance of acting in more ethical way and broadcasting this transformation to their customers. The intention of this paper is to evaluate the depth of ethical marketing and one of the easiest ways to achieve this is through their marketing practices. If a company makes an effort to advertise more ethically, it reflects positively on every area of that business.

The wireless sensor networks (WSN) are widely used in the variety of data collection applications around the globe. The popular uses of WSN include the military, weather, agriculture, healthcare and many other sectors. The WSN suffers from the intense problem of throughput, which primarily occurs due to the network overhead occurred due to the various reasons. There are multiple ways, which can be used to increase the throughput of the network, but none of them is capable of increasing the efficiency more than 10%. In this paper, the work has been carried upon the duty cycling, which is associated with the sleep-awake scheduling for the purpose of throughput maximization. The proposed model utilizes the robust pairing mechanism for the sensor nodes, which has been designed on the basis of compatibility factor. The compatibility factor acts as the trust factor to create the node pairs between the most compatible nodes. The performance of this model is optimized by combining the role switch timer and compatibility factor. The proposed model has been observed with the improvement throughput, which is observable from the obtained results. The best combination out of all is fourth combination (beta=0.5, alpha=0.5), which is observed with approximately 0.51 throughput against the 0.450, 0.458 and 0.487 values for the other three combinations. Also, the variation of the throughput on all of the events is not found similar on any of the two events.

Abstract Present education system, Assessment related issues become a most important topic of discussion for carried out as a part of teaching and learning. Formative Assessment is a continuous process by which we can diagnosis the strength and weakness of teachers, students, curriculum planner's achievement and easily carried out Remedial procedures in the ongoing courses .The study aimed to measure the Attitude towards Formative Assessment in respect of Gender, Locality and different streams of Post-graduate students . For this study 213 samples were selected by purposive sampling technique. Samples were classified in different strata, viz. Science stream students, Social Science stream students, Language stream students, Commerce stream students, Male and Female. Four major dimensions and various other dimensions have been taken. The broad dimensions are as follows: Aim of Formative Assessment, Procedures of Formative Assessment, Merits and demerits of Formative Assessment. Eight hypotheses were framed by researchers for reaching the findings of the study. After data analysis, it was found that there were no significant mean differences in the all hypotheses. There was no significant difference in respect of Gender, Locality and different streams of Post-graduate students in respect of Attitude towards Formative Assessment.
