An in silico analysis was undertaken to identify drought responsive candidate genes in solanaceous plants like potato, chilli, tomato, eggplant and etc., using NCBI database. Drought tolerant plants counter the drought by producing various enzymes and transcription factors through genes associated with drought tolerance. The drought stress responsive genes were validated using Arabidopsis thaliana as reference species. The stress responsive unigenes were identified from STIFDB v2.0 database and subjected for BLAST analysis to identify related homologous sequences from Solanum taxid using NCBI database. A total of 795 stress responsive unigenes were identified for drought stress among which 109 drought responsive unigenes were found in solanaceous taxid with sequence identities (ID) or homology of more than 80 per cent. Based on Bulk Data Retrieval (BDR) from The Arabidopsis Information Resource (TAIR), the Gene Ontology analysis for GO functional categories has revealed that, in cellular component category, genes assigned to the other intracellular components (20.37%) accounted for largest group followed by other cytoplasmic components (19.05%) and genes of chloroplast (11.77%). In biological process category, largest group of genes belong to other cellular processes (25.89%) followed by other metabolic processes (21.89%) and response to abiotic or biotic stimulus (12.44%). In Molecular functional categorization, 11.59% of genes have transferase activity; protein binding activity (10.90%); other enzymic activities (17.27 %) and other binding activities (17.95 %). The information on the drought responsive candidate genes can be used for identification and isolation of drought responsive genes for utilization in drought tolerance breeding in solanaceous crops.

The present study was conducted to explore the role of Bacopa monneiri in posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in mice. Swiss albino mice were subjected to a 2-day electric foot-shock stress of 5 min, which included 15 alternating inescapable foot shocks of 0.8 mA intensity with 10-s duration and 10-s intershock interval on the electrified grid floor. It was followed by 3 week re-exposures (on day 2, 7, and 14) in the same context (as situational reminders) for 5 min without delivering any foot-shocks. Trauma and situational reminders results a significant development of behavioral deficits as assessed on the 21st day. A significant development of freezing behavior was also observed in response to situational reminders on 2nd, 7th and 14th days. Repeated administration of hydroalcoholic extract of Bacopa monneiri (HEBM) for 21 days of (50 mg/kg, 100 mg/kg and 200 mg/kg), diazepam (DZP) 1 mg/kg and flouxetine (FLX) 15 mg/kg considerably restored the behavioral changes evaluated on elevated plus maze, open field and contextual fear paradigm. Bacopa monneiri led to significant reduction in the freezing behavior in response to situational reminders suggesting the inhibition of formation of aversive fear memory. It may be concluded that Bacopa monneiri L. may be beneficial in preventing the PTSD symptoms in response to a traumatic event.

Every community holds closely the rituals that are unique, the rituals that have been closely connected and understood as a part of the communities. The understanding that the communities have been having around their ideas of birth, marriage and death is solely unique and has transformed and developed with the passing ages. It has been reported in many studies that music as well as Satsang (singing of folk songs in a group) have had positive effects on psychological well-being. When interpreted closely one can understand how these folk songs convey messages that praises the Gods and Goddesses, sing about incidences from the scriptures that convey spiritual or religious messages. But then we have to also keep in mind how these group can sometimes breed hierarchical barriers within communities who would belong to a particular satsang group. Here in this paper I would be partly discussing about the work and experiences during the Master of Philosophy (Mphil) Degree, where immersion as a method was adopted which rightly helps in understanding the context where the researcher is placed with no prior knowledge. It explains how it was important to listen, communicate and sit together in discussions and meetings as an act that would move towards a collective auctioning along with the community members as co-researchers, about the rituals when it comes to death and how the Gond community living in Mohgoan village, Karanjia Block, Dindori district, Madhya Pradesh have been differently and uniquely understanding it. This paper highlights their association with Satsang which they have adapted shows us how it has become a part of these ceremonial rituals within their community spaces.

Fault-tolerant control systems are attracting more interests due to its ability of increasing the reliability of voltage source inverts (VSI). Fault identification, localization and fault tolerant control schemes of current sensor are presented here for high fault tolerance induction motor drives. Practically three phase current sensors are used in high power inverters to read the stator currents and allow the drives to work accordingly. But on failure of current sensors it degrades the performance and reliability of drives, even it leads to the breakdown of the vector control system due to the fact that flux angle cannot be estimated correctly. The proposed scheme consists three separate observers, taking a-phase current, b-phase current and c-phase current as inputs, respectively. The observers are having ability to monitor the state of current sensors under normal operation online. Further, after one or even two current sensors getting faulty, the observers can detect and localize the faults and switch the system to tolerant vector control mode even with only one healthy phase current sensor available. Hence, it is very attractive in some safety crucial applications. Stability and convergence of the observer are mathematically derived and verified. A Matlab/Simulink based 1.1kW induction motor variable speed system is setup for the verification of the proposed algorithm

Tubesheet of the Shell and tube heat exchangers designed as per part UHX of ASME Pressure vessels codes. In the past, the tubesheet was designed by this analytical method irrespective of tube layout. However this analytical method does not holds good for NTIW type Tube layout. This research work presents design and analysis of NTIW tubesheet shell and tube type heat exchanger using ASME code formula, TEMA Standards and FEA analysis. After completion of design calculation and stress results by analysis, the stresses at various location on tubesheet i.e. at perforated and non-perforated region has been evaluated. In this research, design has been carried out in PV Elite 2017 software. Design data and other important things were provided by the external guide as per requirement. Design has been carried out as per ASME Section viii, Div.1, UHX-13 and according to TEMA Standard. After completion of design, analytical calculation of NTIW tubesheet was performed in PV Elite software and then after the analytical design report for NTIW tubesheet was generated. After design and analytical calculation, FEA analysis has been carried out in Ansys. For analysis, to overcome the higher hardware requirements of computer as the numbers of tubes are 6992, the criteria of equivalent perforated material given in ASME Section VIII, Div.2, part 5, Annexure 5E utilized for analysis. So in this research we have compare different stresses at different location of perforated and non-perforated regions using FEA analysis. So after studying the the results, it is observed that the stress induced in analysis are higher and deformation is also higher. So it can be concluded from the comparison of the results that the analytical method does not provide the reliable design of tubesheet as per UHX. Hence, the tubesheet thickness can be increased and the stress for same design condition shall be evaluated.

Virtual reality is an experience that puts the user into a simulated environment meant to reproduce the feelings we experience in our real life. It uses computer technology to place the user inside this reality instead of having him to look at a screen. It tries to simulate as many of our senses as possible such as sound, smell, vision, touch etc. to immerse us into the virtual world. They are used in entertainment industries to put the users in the media they are using, in the military to provide them with the real life situations the soldiers may face or in the learning and education department to provide them with deep learning of their courses.

Tourism is one of the drivers of the economic progress of the community and increases government income. Through tourism, it can create jobs and thus reduce unemployment. However, if tourism is not managed properly, it will not increase or boost the economy. This is the case in small Islands in Guinea-Bissau. Guinea-Bissau has very beautiful islands, blue sea, very white sand, birds, sea hippos and a very beautiful culture. However, this is not managed and even there is no promotion or even no assistance from the tourism office. So that it results in very small community income and very low tourism office income.

This paper intends to analyse the treatment of womanhood in T. D. Ramakrishnan's Sugandhi Enna Andal Devanayaki and Mani Ratnam's Kannathil Muthamittal. Women are adversely affected in power struggles. Irrespective of age and status, women are abused in the patriarchal society. The mental and physical agony experienced by the female characters finds expression through the two medium; fiction and film. The conventional and unconventional womanhood and motherhood are addressed in a traumatic manner that highlights the plight of women in the Sri Lankan Civil War. Womanhood portrayed in the two narratives exemplify the role of women in nation building. The choices made by the female characters ultimately define their inclination towards motherhood or nationalism. This study is an attempt to showcase the different perspectives of womanhood and their bruised self, rather than confining them to typical stereotypes.

How it is formed :- Serum Vitamin E level in the body totally depends on the liver. Liver which function is to take up the nutrient after various forms are absorbed from the small intestine. After the process of metabolism, the liver rescretes only alpha tocopherol and other forms of vitamin E are excreted. We know that, free radicles are the molecules containing an unshared electron. Antioxidant in the form of Vitamin E protect the cells from the damaging effects of free redicles. Free radicals are responsible for the developing cardiovascular disease and malignancy also. Immunity is also produce by vitamin E, Apha tocopherol of inhabits the activity of protein kinase C, which is an enzgme involved in cell proliferation and differentiation in smooth muscle cells, platelets and monocites. Vitamin E also replete endothelial cells lining the interior surface of blood vessels are better able to resist blood cell components adhering to this surface. Vitamin E also increases the expression of two enzymes that the arachidonic acid metabolism, therapy increasing the release of prostocyclin from the endothelium which in turn, dilatos blood vessels and inhibits platelet aggregation.
