 Abstract

Study of concept formation of learning disabled secondary students is the Title of the study. To study the Levels and differences in the concept formation of learning disabled students and normal students are the objectives of the study. The sample of the study consists of 2000 (two thousand) secondary school students. Out of which 1752 are normal students and 248 are Learning disabled students. Check list for identifying learning disabled students, Social Economic Test (.S.E.S. Test), Mental Ability Test were used as Tools of collection of data . (1) 9.13%, 52.51%, 38.36% Normal students and 4.84%, 52.42% and 42.74% learning disabled students posses high, average and low concept formation abilities. (2) The normal students posses high concept formation than the learning disabled students. (3) Male & Female learning disabled students posses equal concept formation. (4) High intellectual students posses higher concept formation than the Low Intelligent student. (5) High & Low socio-Economic status learning disabled students posses same concept formation are the finds of the study.

 Abstract

Traffic controlling is very important in the present scenario. Present traffic controlling system fails to control the traffic at busy junctions. Traffic signal controlling is probably the best option to control the traffic as it is very convenient to control the traffic. In this paper PLC (programmable logic controller) plays a vital role in controlling the traffic automatically. The system controls the traffic based upon the density and flow of the vehicles. By using sensors it calculates the density of the vehicles at all the lanes and prioritize the signals according to their density. According to the logic operations and program given to the PLC it controls the traffic by giving appropriate signals based upon their density. If the traffic flow is more then green signal is given to that lane and if the traffic flow is less then the red signal is given to that lane.

The profit comes from investment. The better investment gives good profit and to calculate how much profit the company is gaining; the profitability ratios are using. These ratios are the tools to estimate the overall financial performance of the particular company, Maruti Suzuki. By these ratios, the management can do the needful for the growth of their business and to maximize the intrinsic value of the company. In this paper, the profitability of Maruti Suzuki from 2009 to 2019 is stated. Various profitability ratios, growth charts, and statistical tools are used for evaluating profitability.

 Abstract

The study was conducted in Fatehabad district of Haryana State covering 10 randomly selected villages. Out of these villages 10 farmers from each village were selected randomly to make the sample size of 100 for the study. The data were collected through well structured farmers' interview schedule regarding usage pattern of soil health card in selection and management practices of different crops by the farmers of the district. The basic information of the individual farmer regarding their socio-economic status were also collected. The study revealed that more than half of the respondents (55.00 %) belonged to the middle age group (31-50 years) followed by old age group (51 and above) to the extent of 23.00 per cent. About one-third of respondents (36.00%) were metric, followed by 20.00 per cent having education level of higher secondary. About three-fourth (72%) farmers having farming experience up 30 years. and remaining 28.00 per cent of them having farming experience more than 30 years. As for as land holding of respondents is concerned, the maximum respondents (44.00%) were having land up to 5 acres followed 5 to10 acres (38%). Majority of the respondents (78.00%) had agriculture as main occupation followed by Agriculture plus allied occupation (15.00%). In case of awareness level of farmers about use of soil health cards in crop management practices, the 45.00 per cent of respondents were moderately aware while 30.00 per cent fully aware about th SHC scheme. Majority of the respondents were aware to fully aware that it is a Government of India scheme. They were also aware that soil health card helps to reduce input cost, shows the nutrient status, contains soil type information, cropping pattern, crop sequence and soil nutrient status. The data further reveals that majority (> 70.00%) of the respondents had awareness that SHC helps in maintaining soil fertility and use of inorganic fertilizers, increase in productivity of crops and encourage in judicious use of fertilizers to the extent of 64.00 per cent. However, majority of them were not aware about world soil day (83.00%), SHC web-portal (70.00%), SHC issued for three years (62.00%). A majority of farmers (72.00%) were not aware that SHC tells about plantation of horticultural crops. The data pertaining to use of soil health cards in selection and management practices of different crops revealed that more than half (52.00%) of the respondents used soil health cards as it gives the idea of fertilizer used pattern followed by use of soil health cards, it helps to increase farm income by applying recommended fertilizer dose at appropriate time (48.00%), in selection of rabi and kharif crops and provide information about crops grown suited to soil types (42.00%), respectively. Respondents also uses soil health cards as it helps in maintaining soil structure and soil texture, reduce soil degradation, improve in quality of produce, provide the dosages of lime and gypsum.

 Abstract

Millions of waste and other debris are filling our oceans at an exponential rate. This situation is catastrophic it has now garnered worldwide attention. Despite the catastrophic conditions, little to now robotics research is conducted in the identification, collection, sorting, and removal of waste from oceans and rivers and at the macro- and micro-scale. Only a scarce amount of individual efforts can be found from private sources. This paper presents a cursory view of the current plastic water waste catastrophe, associated robot research, and other efforts currently underway to address the issue. As well as the call that as a community, we must wait no longer to address the problem. Surely there is much potential for robots to help to meet the challenges posed by the enormity of this problem. In India, garbage disposal has become a huge cause of disturbance. This project solves two of the major problems. This machine is consisting of a net like structure which collect & remove the wastage from water bodies. It is also used to remove oil from the upper layer of the river. This is powered by solar powered motors using photovoltaic cells. The use of this project will be made in rivers, ponds, lakes and other water bodies to clean the surface water. This system will be also helpful for Kaveri and government projects for cleaning rivers from trashes like dhotis, flower offerings and other wastes.
