Having regard to the magnitude and diversity of India, it is an eloquent testimony of the parliamentary system of Indian democracy that the basic framework as bequeathed to us in 1950 has been preserved, Shortcomings in the system are amenable to realistic solution within the precincts of the present constitution if the major political parties bring their commitment to national unity and progress to bear on devising solutions. There is no need for a radical change in the Constitution or to switch over from the parliamentary system to the Presidential system of government. With such diversity and immensity of the population, it would almost be impossible to operate a Presidential system in India. Elections are the life-breath of India's democratic polity. The health and vitality of parliamentary democracy are sustained by ensuring free, fair and peaceful elections where the verdict of the people finds full expression. Elections to the parliament conducted over the past 68 years or so have, except for minor aberrations, been successful and widely acclaimed in the country. India is ranked as one of the 39 countries with a stable democratic set up in the World.

COVID-19 has been identified as the greatest threat of all times to the humankind. It has affected health, economy, trade, political relations, social customs and cultural practices all around the world. However, the worst impact of the pandemic was felt on the institution of education and, especially, among the children of the indigenous communities. Due to the epidemic, tribal children were forced to drop out and some of them never returned even after the reopening of schools. New methods of e-learning were designed to help the children continue with their academic activities and other curricular interests. But, the school closures and its shift to digital platforms exposed the digital deprivation and the resultant divide that existed among the tribal students. The present paper proposes to study the impact of the pandemic on the educational system of the country and among the children of the tribal communities. The paper is based on a primary study made among the tribal students of Mayurbhanj, Odisha and attempts to find out the reasons responsible for the digital divide and suggest measures to overcome the digital deficiencies.

The electrical and electronic equipments, when subjected to any of the power quality issues, are highly prone to misbehave which leads to the failure of those equipments. This paper analyses the power quality issues and means to improve the power quality in three-phase PV (Photo Voltaic) sourced micro grid using unified power quality conditioner (UPQC). The proposed UPQC comprises of active filter on the shunt side and dynamic voltage restorer on the series side. A integrated control of instantaneous reactive power and synchronous reference frame theories are employed to formulate control reference signals for the UPQC. The simulation results proved that the proposed UPQC compensated power quality issues such as voltage sag, harmonics, voltage imbalance in the micro grid system. The comparison is made of various individual compensation devices such as shunt active filters , dvr and upqc. The proposed system is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink software.

This paper deals with the innovative narrative techniques employed by Faulkner in his writings. His experimentation with Stream of Consciousness technique, Multiplicity of narration, Unreliable narration, Interior monologues, View point, Symbolism, Allegory, Imagery, Irony, Flashback, Foreshadowing, Disordered time sequences, Counter point or Juxtaposition, in a unique manner makes him the leader to the new generation of fiction writers. All the above techniques can be witnessed in his works. The special emphasis has been given to these techniques in his Yoknapatawpha novels.

New wave film is not only one of the most pervasive cultural forces in the modern era, but also a distinct artistic medium. It's everything that matters in the modern world art, business, entertainment, and technology all rolled into one. The variety of its shapes is another manifestation of this. Film refers to the tools used to create the final product (the celluloid camera and the editing process), whereas the movie refers to the commercial and entertaining aspects, and cinema refers to the aesthetics. Cinema, whether mainstream or alternative, is an art form that reflects the society in which it is created because of the intricate interplay between the film's visuals, sound, and dialogue. Cinema draws its sustenance, ideas, and fantasies from its surrounds, whether it be an emotional drama, a candy floss romance, or an action thriller. Therefore, the present study focuses on identifying the perception of youth for new wave cinema on sociological aspect. Through the descriptive analysis it is found that there is correlation between viewing intention for new wave cinema by the youth and sociological aspects.

Anybody at any time can experience agantujavyadhis and if not treated properly can lead to devastating permanent health problems. The branch Agad tantra deals with such category of diseases. This branch had flourished in old days, since poisoning was the major warfare technique. The clinical skills of professionals trained in Agad tantra is for accurate diagnosis and treatment had astonished even the invaders of the country itself. But now the treatment modalities exclusive for Agad tantra is on the verge of extinction. Lack of scientific evidences, trained professionals and institutional supports are the main reasons. Due to geographical peculiarities, Kerala had made remarkable contribution to Visha chikitsa. Kerala has developed its own snake bite management protocols by widely practicing visha vaidyas at that time and recorded in Keraliya visha chikitsa granthas. They had introduced special treatment modalities like Uttu chikitsa, Talam, Tukkudhara etc. This review details such a special treatment modality called Uttu chikitsa mentioned in Vishavaidya Jyotsnika and Prayoga Samuchaya.

This paper investigates the mechanical properties of fly ash brick debris waste composites in the concrete design mix proportion in terms of compressive strength behaviour the fly ash brick debris in this study is from the recycle brick waste of construction site live projects. four samples replacement level are being produced which contain the replacement of sand by substituting the first samples with 5 % of brick debris , second sample with 10 % of brick debris and third sample with 15 % , four sample with 20 % of brick debris. All the samples have been tested for compressive strength by using the compression testing machine. Many researchers are finding different materials to replace fine aggregate. Fine aggregates are weathered and worn out particles of rocks and are of various grades or sizes depending upon the amount of wearing. Now a Days fine aggregate is not readily available, it is transported from a long distance in rainy season non availability or shortage of fine aggregate will affect the construction industry, hence there is a need to find the new alternative material to replace the fine aggregate.
