Garo is a tribal community in the state Meghalaya enriched with many cultural properties. Totem is one of them. The study of Garo totem is still untouched. Some of the principles of Garo totems are not related to the general ideas of totem. Totems are preserved differently in Garo community unlike other tribes with many practices. The paper opens the gateway to explore the main idea of Garo totem and its uniqueness. Totems are found in many of their cultural traits that need to meet the proper ground of totemism in general.

Chennai faces water woes almost every year, either in the form of floods or drought. It heavily depends on the monsoon for water yet it does not have a proper system of water management. What system of water supply we currently have is thanks to the British. The city was the first major settlement of the English East India Company in 1639. But the question always remains as to why exactly this spot was chosen to construct their Fort especially when it lacks a basic amenity like good drinking water. In spite of the drawbacks the British had to work out methods to face the perennial problem of water. This paper is an attempt to understand the problem related to the supply of water and the first few attempts made by the English to come up with feasible solutions.

When a self-forming encapsulated lipid bi-layer was hydrated, liposomes or lipid vesicles were discovered; liposome drug delivery systems have played a significant role in the creation of useful medications to improve therapies. Liposome formulations have recently been optimized to reduce toxicity while enhancing target site accumulation. The suppression of rapid liposome clearance by regulating particle size, charge, and surface hydration is one of several new liposome manufacturing methods based on lipid drug interaction and liposome disposition mechanism. Targeting tissue with or without the expression of target recognition molecules on the lipid membrane is the most common therapeutic application of liposomal drug delivery. Physical, chemical, and biological factors are used to characterize the liposomes. Liposome size is another important metric that aids in the identification of the liposome, which is normally accomplished by sequential extrusion at low pressure through a polycarbonate membrane (PCM). Antiviral, antifungal, antimicrobial, vaccines, anti-tubercular medicines, and gene treatments can all benefit from this route of drug delivery since it improves safety and efficacy. Liposomes are being used in immunology, dermatology, vaccine adjuvant, eye diseases, brain targeting, infectious disease, and tumor therapy, among other fields. The specific binding properties of a drug-carrying liposome to a target cell such as a tumor cell and specific molecules in the body (antibodies, proteins, peptides, and so on); stealth liposomes, which are especially being used as carriers for hydrophilic (water soluble) anticancer drugs like doxorubicin and mitoxantrone; and bisphos-phonate-liposome mediated macrophage depletion are some of the Researchers working in the field of liposomal medication delivery will benefit from this review.

The objective of the present study is to study the livelihood pattern among tribal women of Southern Rajasthan. The study was conducted in three district viz. Dungarpur, Udaipur and Banswara due to highest concentration of tribal population. There were 120 tribal women from each district constituting a sample of 360 tribal women from the three districts. Findings of the study reveal that, crop based livelihood was accounted as the primary source of income for half of the respondents (50%). It was followed by wage based (14.16%), forest based (11.94%) and animal husbandry based livelihood (8.61%). Some of the respondents had poultry based (6.38%), business based (6.38%) and horticulture based livelihood activities (2.50%). Some of the respondents (19.61%) had animal husbandry as a secondary source of income whereas, horticulture based livelihood (18.88%), wage earning (16.38%), forest based (9.99 %), poultry and business were also followed by 2.49 per cent and 0.54 per cent respondents respectively as secondary means of livelihood.

Judiciary is one among the three main organs of the Government. The administration of Justice is the process by which the legal system of the government is executed. During the ancient period, the administration of Justice was carried forward by King and Council. The mode of justice had deficiency of uniformity, conformity and lack of precise justice delivery system and the system of justice also extensively varied from one part to another. The legal system under the Delhi Sultans and Mughals was administered through Islamic law. British East India Company founded in 1600 laid their foundation for trade in India. It founded first Presidency town, Madras in India followed by Bombay and Calcutta. The English East India Company constructed a Factory in Madras called Fort St. George in 1640. This Fort was known as White Town. While the nearby village inhabited by local population was called Black Town. By 1652, Fort St. George became the Headquarters of the eastern possessions of the English East India Company. With the advent of British, the administration of justice and development of Courts began from 1639 to 1726 in the Presidency towns of Madras, Bombay and Calcutta. This paper highlights the development of judiciary and different phases of judicial administration in Madras presidency.

Nowadays the number of users has increased in use of internet web access as well as the growth of data has also increased. This can be a hassle for users to find exactly relevant information from the Internet relatively quickly. The search process on the web is also inaccurate and it takes a lot of time to get results. Domain-specific web search engines contain information that is specific to the subject at hand. This domain-specific web search engine aims to improve accuracy and provide additional functionality. This makes it easy to connect young minds with start-ups that have turned out to be quite different from common web search engines. This proposed task uses a focused crawler that attempts to index only web pages that contain information about jobs, launch-related events, and news. It also uses contextual pseudo-relevance feedback using machine learning algorithms to get more relevant documents than regular search engines. This proposed task produces search results by reflecting feedback without human intervention. This task uses machine learning techniques to improve accuracy with domain-specific web search engines for better results

Dielectric relaxation measurements of amino acid (L-alanine) in water solution were carried out using time domain reflectometry at 250C to -50C in the frequency range between 10 MHz to 30 GHz. The dielectric parameters i.e. static dielectric constant and relaxation time, were obtained from the complex permittivity spectra using a nonlinear least square fit method. From the values of the relaxation time, the thermodynamic parameters are determined. The Kirkwood correlation factor was calculated from the static permittivity. The dielectric relaxation parameters increase with an increase in concentration (mM) of amino acid (L-alanine) due to the structure of hydrogen bond groups by the amino acid (L-alanine) molecules in the aqueous solution. The relaxation peak shifted to lower frequency with an increase in molar concentration of amino acid.
