Almost all the individuals devote a significant part of his/her life-span at their place of work, so, the concept of job satisfaction is considered very seriously among all types of organizations. Job satisfaction refers to the feeling of satisfaction of a person about his/her job, which acts as a motivational force to employees towards their work. The present study has been conducted to measure the Job Satisfaction level among the faculty members of aided colleges affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and further to investigate the relationship of job satisfaction with demographic factors i.e. age, gender, experience and discipline along with the level of job satisfaction with motivational and hygiene factors. The present study is based on the primary data collected by getting filled a self-administered five point Likert scale questionnaire from 180 faculty members of aided colleges affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana (India) from representative 5 districts (i.e., Ambala, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Panipat, Yamuna Nagar) of Haryana. The data collected then analyzed by utilizing statistical techniques such as mean, standard deviation, T-test and One-way ANOVA. The present findings reveal that overall satisfaction of faculty members of aided colleges is moderate. Female faculties are more satisfied than male faculties. Overall satisfaction is also varying according to age, experience, discipline and marital status. Hygiene factors have greater impact on building positive job satisfaction level among employees than motivational factors.

The incessant chase behind reducing air pollution have seen a lucrative result after the ongoing massive impact of COVID-19 corona virus. Starting with the source country China, removing a massive number of 192,000 cars, NO2 levels in some areas in China have dropped 40% in the months of January and February. Similar changes were seen all around the world creating another inflaming question, what happens after this watershed??? With each economy along with its infrastructure requiring a resurgence, this also marks the time when government and adjoining agencies along with the car manufacturers need to provide a new-bound revitalization to electric vehicle industries Apart from going into explaining how this is the right time to give more importance to electric vehicles, this study also goes into the details of implementing multiple motors in electric vehicles, namely in-wheel, outer rotor motors especially in developing countries like India. Its perks and non-perks. Ironically this pandemic situation proves to be beneficial in doing so as every industry is going to undergo a rejuvenation and hence adjoining the EV industries with new found technologies is possible, necessary as well as advantageous

Children are future citizens of the nation and their adequate development is utmost priority of the country. Bihar has the third largest number of child labourers in country. It is true that low-caste household children are inhibited from educational opportunity. The economic condition and social position of parents bestow new born privileged or deprived status in stratified societies. Parents profession education income and even castes in such societies outline the future of children. Although there have been numerous legislations and schemes to address the issue, they could not provide a lasting solution. Due to extreme poverty and discrimination, dalit children in Bihar account for the largest section of child labourers in the state and are among the most exploited as well. The 2011 census points out that a staggering 51% of SCs and 56% of STs live below the poverty line in the state.

Reincarnation of art in the global scenario of variations and specialties depends not only on the generosity of its practical aspects but also in the reincarnation of its art, the innovativeness of that art is unique. Tattooing as art has long been a part of cultural practice in India as well as other cultures of the world. In this part, along with the insight of art, efforts have been made to carve its cultural aspects as well. This specialization of art is meant to be replicated to those aspects of culture that characterize the behavioral and temporal-extraterrestrial forms of such culture. This uniqueness brings changes in its forms with the change of society. In the improvised form of tattooing, the possibilities of identity are depicted as signs, symbols and art. This earlier form of art creates paradoxes over time. Its theoretical side establishes it as art and the practical side, on the other hand, identifies the market. The construction and cultural aspect of symbols in society is largely related to its worldview. This worldview is based on those forms of society in which the sense of globalism is certain.

The use of Artificial Intelligence in content modulation by the social media platform has made information more personalised. The selective information exposure to the users has created an information asymmetry. As the content is getting more user-centric, individuals are getting deeply biased in their views as they are living in echo-chambers, where their pre-existing ideas are getting amplified rather than diversifying. Under these circumstances, the increasing use of social media by policymakers should be properly investigated before these platforms are utilised by policy makers to discuss the policy-issues. This paper, using reflective research methodology to analyse the intersectionality of user-centric content, deepening biases and policymaking.

ABSTRACT Sand is an essential raw material in the burgeoning construction industry and its mining, distribution and use bequeaths both the rural and urban population with work as miners, loaders, transporters, vendors and builders. Sand harvesting also leads to destruction of roads, dereliction of agricultural farms since road side and onsite/farms sand harvesting is increasingly becoming popular and much easier. The business of sand harvesting appears lucrative to sand dealers not minding the effect on the environment. The study therefore seeks to unravel the intricacies associated with sand harvesting activities, sustainability of sand in line with the existing sand mining policies and how the resource can be used for economic productivity of the inhabitants of Rachuonyo East Sub County in Homa Bay County. The study was guided by the following objectives; To examine the underlying causes of sand harvesting activities in Rachuonyo East Sub County in Homa Bay County, To assess the extent to which sand harvesting activities have been carried out in compliance with the existing sand mining policies of both National and County Governments in Rachuonyo East Sub County in Homa Bay County, To evaluate the economic implications of sand harvesting activities on the inhabitants of Rachuonyo East Sub County in Homa Bay County. Literature related to the study was reviewed. The study was guided by the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach Theory. Descriptive survey was employed in the study and simple random sampling technique was used to arrive at the respondents. Data was collected using questionnaires and interview schedules. The target population was 1626 of which a sample of 489 was selected. A pilot study was conducted in the nearby Nyando Sub-County in Kisumu County. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics with the use of frequency counts, percentages, means, tables and graphs. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 18.0 computer programme. The study found out that the main reasons for involvement in sand harvesting activities were to obtain both primary and secondary needs by the inhabitants. The inhabitants were never satisfied with the returns they get from sand harvesting business as the cost of living was exponentially swelling against the dwindling sand prices. It was evident from the results of the study that the compliance level was still very low hence sustainability of sand resource is at risk. The research study also unmasked that the county government of Homa Bay is yet to enact laws/legislation on sand harvesting activities in the region. This was identified as a big gap and a vacuum to be filled by the study. It was concluded that for easy and quick compliance with the existing sand mining policies/regulations, there should be creation of timely awareness, formulation, rolling out and implementation of the policies/regulations in consultation with all the stakeholders as one of the best transformational processes. It was recommended that serious, well organized, recognized and operational cooperative societies be formed in order to boost the economic standards of the inhabitants and to act as the accountability structures to help curb the negative sand mining practices. This accountability structure will also equip the county government with the best way of maximizing revenue collection. Diversification of the sand dealers economy to help minimize overdependence on sand resource thereby sustaining their sand was also a landmark recommendation. The results of the study was found to be significant to policy formulators for good governance of sand resource, environmentalists to ensure sustainability of sand, to the inhabitants for better economic productivity, and finally to county and national government for improved revenue collection.
