Abstract Since the Internet-of-Things (IoT) has been introduced, it is considered as one of the emerging technologies providing great opportunities to many industries. One of the major IoT application areas that get signi?cant attention is Smart Irrigation. Now days smart irrigation gives a great contribution in smart cities as well as build a developed Nation, because in India more than 50% population is depend on irrigation. Smart irrigation system gives less effort and more profit to farmer. By using Raspberry pi processor system become simpler and affordable because raspberry pi is less costly than other processor also it has good peripherals. With the help of python language system becomes simple and understandable because python is simple language. Today python is widely use in industry. For firmware development thonny platform get used. System get data from sensors here system use Rain detector Sensor, Soil moisture Sensor, DHT11 Sensor. From rain sensor system come to know rain fall or not, from soil moisture sensor system get soil moisture of soil, DHT11 is a combination of temperature and humidity sensor. By using this all information firmware controls the state of motor. For data storage in sql system use X protocol. This is commonly used for database maintenances. For user interface there is one GUI and for development of GUI System use Java language. Towards global development smart irrigation become very useful.

The study is showing that automatically extracting watershed features based on Arc Hydro tools are achievable and effective. ArcHydro is a model developed for building hydrologic information systems to synthesize geospatial and temporal water resources data that support hydrologic modeling and analysis. This automation of running the model to obtain the delineated watersheds, just like ArcHydro Add-on, is much simpler. Using this tool, a user can obtain the desired result with three clicks. It has the option to set input data, output file names, and output folders of ones convenience. Myntdu River is one of the major water bodies in Jaintia Hills District of Meghalaya, has been taken as the study area. A Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is used to extract various watershed features of the Myntdu River basin to obtain hydrologic modeling and analysis.

Gun Island is a beautifully realized novel that effortlessly spans space and time. It is the story of a world on the brink, of increasing displacement and unstoppable transition. But it is also a story of hope and the future is restored by two remarkable women.Amitav Ghoshs new novel ,Gun Island ,express many of the writers recurring motifs irrawaddy, dolphins ,the Sundarbans, Climate change. But at the heart of the novel is the theme of illegal migration and refugee crisis, displacement and renewal. Amitav Ghoshs novel Gun Island is as much as etymological mystery as a compelling study of illegal migration a derivation that points to the deep and civilization over the ages. Ghosh write with deep intelligence and illuminating alacrity about complex issues. This ambitious novel memorably draws connection among history, poltical and mythology.Ghoshs story involving and intricate, speaks urgently to a time growing ever more perilous. A tender ,attentive and engaging account of the ways in which an individual sensibility might be altered by ironies of the history, chance alliances and climatological . Gun island is a rich and rewarding novel that reaffirms the transformative power of topographical and human connection and registers the rhythms of the quiet and the unquiet life.

Water pollution and the growing share of wastewater released into water bodies increased stress on water environment.. Proper environmental-friendly and sustainable techniques are important for treatment of these water resources. Phytoremediation in water deals with the application of aquatic plants for the remediation of pollutants in water resources or aquatic ecosystems. In this work, efforts were made to remove pollution load of municipal wastewater by using free-floating macrophytes like Spirodela polyrhiza and Lemna minor. Both were reported as very successful duckweeds for the phytoremediation and their low cost, long storage capacity, minimal chemical and biological sludge volume. Also, their ease of transport, ability to grow under different climatic conditions and fast reproduction rates are additional advantages. The interesting results obtained were percentage reduction in COD (82.2% and 68.8%), BOD (84.3% and 63.8%), phosphate (63.8% and 59.02%,), ammonia nitrogen (75.4% and 55.9%) and nitrate (79.1% and 55.4%) for Lemna minor and Spirodela polyrizha respectively. The maximum growth of duckweeds was during the experimental period in the pH range 7-8. The study showed that this treatment can be successfully carried out on a large scale by using Lemna minor as the phytoremediation agent for about 17days as an effective, low-cost tertiary treatment for heavy loaded municipal wastewater. Also, it could be given as a stand-alone treatment with preliminary facilities, in small villages.

In this paper, an innovative control technique for wind power generation for smoothening the stator active or reactive power swell components under unbalanced grid voltage using doubly-fed induction generators (DFIG) is projected. The negative order component of the rotor current is used to diminish the active and reactive power waves, which is extracted by band pass filters. It is revealed that reducing the reactive power ripples can lead to results in the torque ripple reduction. Simulation results shows that the proposed control algorithm can reduce the active or reactive power ripple components as well as reduceing the torque and speed ripples.

Lattice Dynamics the concept of a phonon and its properties were first introduced by Debye in 1912. A phonon is defined as a quantum of vibrational energy within a crystal structure. Phonons are considered as a quasi-particle with wave vector q and angular frequency ? s for atomic vibrational polarization s. The energy of a phonon mode is h?s and its momentum is h q. Lattice dynamics is the study of the relationship between these two quantities: ? = ?s(q). In the present study an experimental cum mathematical modeling was performed to study how phonon dispersion curves arise. The continuum model has been employed to explain the phonon dispersion of semiconducting nanostructures. The result shows that for the silicon nanostructures, the ultra-small case of each structure that all branches except the acoustic are flat and dispersion less regardless of whether the system is zero-, one-or two-dimensional. Conversely, the continuum model of the nanotube shows that the group velocity of the low optical modes is much large for k > 1. As the size of the silicon structures increases, these branches are seen to become dispersive in the direction of propagation like the nanotube.

Construction project's success depends on how well it performs. There are many factors affecting construction performance resulting in construction delay or construction failure. The purpose of the study is to determine the factors influencing construction project efficiency, and to generate perceptions of their relative importance. The questionnaires have been distributed to main project participants. A systematic analysis of the literature has been implemented to produce a collection of variables that are thought to influence project performance. The findings of the survey show that the most significant factors influencing the success of a project are: escalation in material cost, quality and shortage of materials, safety training, technical capability of site engineer, positive attitude of project participants, climatic conditions and suggestions are made for addressing all of those factors.

Thousands of years before the introduction and the development of Modern Management Theories, Indian scriptures have discussed about the concept of good leadership that the present day researchers are talking about. Good leadership is the key to good governance and welfare of the nation and organizations. It is the virtues and values of the leaders, that shapes our society and organizations and therefore good leadership can only restructure our life. The Devi Mahatmya teaches the concept of good leadership through stories of fight between the Devi and the Demons, the good against the bad forces in a symbolic battlefield. Sri Swami Krishnananda explains that all the demons in the Devi Mahatmya are the indwelling bad forces like kama (lust), krodha (anger), lobha (greed), mada (pride), moha (attachment), and matsarya (jealousy)affecting our body, mind and soul. Devi kills these demons in us. Killing or controlling these forces can only one become a good leader. This paper uses hermeneutics a qualitative research methodology, which is the interpretation of an ancient or a classical literature. The paper explains the exotic meaning of Devi Mahatmya in the light of good leadership.

This research work numerically analyze the elliptical CFB boiler tube model using Ansys 15.0. The detailed analysis has been done for performance parameters such as temperature distribution, heat transfer coefficient on elliptical CFB boiler tube models. The result has been compared with the reference paper reported in the literature. This paper also shows the comparison of elliptical CFB boiler tube with fin configured CFB model at constant temperature.
