Vascular-based biometrics is increasing in importance due to their accuracy and security. Finger vein- basedbiometric systems elegantly solve the problems associated with fingerprint systems. The vein-based authentication system is a promising biometric model for personal identification in terms ofits security and ease of use. Vein patterns can only be taken from a living body. Therefore, it is natural and conclusive evidence that a subject whose veins have been successfully struck is alive. The finger vein detection technique was improved using a neighborhood elimination technique to reduce repetitive features in the removed finger vein-specific image. The neighborhood elimination technique is used to remove redundant data while retaining effective raw data for subsequent processing.

In supervised learning, missing values usually appear in the training set. The missing values in a dataset maygenerate bias, affecting the quality of the supervised learning process or the performance of classification algorithms. These imply that a reliable method for dealing with missing values isnecessary. In this project, we analyze the difference betweeniterative imputation of missing values and single imputation inreal-world applications. We propose an iterative imputationmethod, in which each missing attribute-value is iterativelyfilled using a predictor constructed from the known values and predicted values of the missing attribute-values from the previous iterations. Meanwhile, we demonstrate that it is reasonable to consider the imputation ordering for patching upmultiple missing attribute values, and therefore introduce amethod for imputation ordering. We experimentally show that our approach significantly out performs some standard machine learning methods for handling missing values in classification tasks.

Money laundering is the process of disguising the proceeds of illegal activities as legitimate funds. Money laundering is a significant problem that poses serious threats to the integrity of the financial system, as it enables criminals to profit from illegal activities and finance further criminal endeavors. Money laundering is also linked to other crimes, such as drug trafficking, terrorism financing, and corruption. To combat money laundering, governments and financial institutions have implemented variousmeasures, such as Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws, and the use of financial intelligence units.

Network security refers to a variety of measures, technologies, schemes, and procedures aimed at protecting computer networks and the data they transmit from unauthorized access, misuse, modification or demolition. Common network security measures include firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, virtual private networks (VPNs), encryption, access control, and monitoring and logging tools. Organizations of all sizes need to implement strong network security measures to prevent the loss or compromise of sensitive data, which can result in serious consequences such as financial losses, damage to reputation, and legal liability. this paper discusses the challenges and importance of collecting security-related data in network systems, focusing on big data and 5G network systems. The 5V characteristics of security-related data are highlighted as a factor that makes data collection difficult in large-scale heterogeneous network systems. The paper focuses on collecting data for detecting network attacks, intrusions, and anomalies, reviews existing network data collection technologies, and evaluates their performance towards high-quality network security-related data collection

Using sensor-rich smartphones to sense various contexts attracts much attention, such as transportation mode recognition. Local solutions make efforts to achieve trade-offs among detection accuracy, delay, and battery usage. We propose a real-time recognition model consisting of two long shottern memory classifiers with different sequence lengths. The shorter one is a binary classifier distinguishing elevator scene and the longer one implements a finer classification among bus, subway, high-speed railway, and others. Light-weighted sensors are employed with a much smaller sampling rate (10Hz) compared with previous works. We present experiments on accuracy and resource usage and prove that our system realizes a latency-low and power-efficient scene recognition approach by trading off a reasonable performance loss (averaged recall of 92.22%)

The Essence of Mathematical Modeling: A Theoretical Exploration Abstract: Mathematical modelling constitutes a fundamental pillar of mathematics education, serving as a means of transforming real-world challenges into mathematical representations. This process entails the articulation of real-life scenarios into mathematical constructs, facilitating a bridge between tangible problems and abstract mathematical concepts. This approach underscores the pervasive role of mathematical models across various mathematical domains, encompassing arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and calculus. As a consequence, mathematical modelling holds relevance for learners of all age groups, ranging from primary school to higher education. Recent examinations of the field emphasize the profound significance of modelling as an educational tool. Within this study, we aim to elucidate the significance, key attributes, and the procedural intricacies of mathematical modelling. It is important to note that this study is purely theoretical in nature and is envisioned as a valuable resource for future research endeavours.

The core purpose of criminal procedure is to provide the accused a full and fair trial in accordance with the principles of natural justice. There are various steps which should be followed in order to dispense justice and bring the guilty to the book. Taking cognizance of the offences is one of the procedures. In India the basic step in every criminal case is taking congnizance of such actions. The whole law as to administration of criminal justice and trial revolves around the accused. Public prosecutors with their full strength of teeth and mind do their best to hold the accused guilty, whereas defense counsels with same vigor and determination, art of advocacy and nice technicalities and lacunae of legal system endeavor to get verdict of not guilty in his favour. Judges bound by oath to do justice without fear, favor, ill-will or affection discharge their judicial functions and make every effort to disengage the truth from falsehood and to shift or separate the grains from the chaffs to preside over a criminal case to see that no innocent man is punished and no guilty man escapes.

OBJECTIVES: The aim of the study is to assess the effect of hand and foot massage therapy on the pain, quality of life among breast cancer patients. Background of the study: Cancer is a global problem and it is a leading cause of death worldwide. Pain, Quality of life is affected among the cancer patients. Foot massage is a complimentary therapy that has great potential for use by nurse in multidisciplinary pain management programme. Foot massage acts like an analgesic and inhibits those pain signals from being transmitted to the brain. It is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to enhance function and in the healing process and promote relaxation and well being. Design: Control and experimental groups were taken and manipulation was given to the experimental group. Two groups pretest - posttest (experimental and control) design were used in this study. Research Methodology: The quantitative evaluative approach, Randomized control trail design was used. The samples of 200 cancer patients were selected probability Simple random technique sampling technique and the samples were divided into experimental and control group based on matching criteria. The data was collected by using two tools a) demographic variables tools, b) Pain scale, c) European Organization for the Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire. The hand and foot massage was administered for the patients. The data was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics.
