This abstract provides an overview of the comprehensive discussion on the multifaceted impact of marital rights absence and pervasive prejudice on India’s LGBTQ+ community. India, like many nations, grapples with the complexities of LGBTQ+ rights, further exacerbated by the absence of legal recognition for same sex marriages and societal biases. This discussion explores the far reaching consequences, including financial disparities, legal battles over parental rights, immigration issues, and barriers to healthcare. Additionally, it sheds light on the social and cultural challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, the profound impact on mental health, and the coping strategies employed. Finally, it envisions a more inclusive future, advocating for legal reforms, increased representation, and government support to pave the way for a more accepting society.

English has come of age as a global language. It is spoken by a quarter of the world's population, enabling a true single market in knowledge and ideas. The growth of English as a truly global communication channel, it allows the rapid cross-pollination of ideas and innovation around the world and the development of a new kind of super-national single market in knowledge and ideas. Global English is a highly valued technical skill and it can be prerequisite for many international positions, foreign relations and development and a passport to advancement in global media, entertainment and financial world. As English language now belongs to world and increasingly to non-native speakers and plays the integral role in escalating the country's economy and inclusive growth, this paper reviewed that the awareness of importance of English language in the era of globalisation which has made people learn this universal language consciously. This paper also points out the real scenario of developing countries, like India is indeed worrisome because of the flaws of Indian education system, pedagogy and evaluation method.

Pervious Concrete is a special type of concrete, which consist of cement, coarse aggregates, water and if required admixtures and other cementitious materials. As there are no fine aggregates used in the concrete mix, the void content is more which allows the water to flow through its body. So, the Pervious Concrete is also called as Permeable Concrete and Porous Concrete. There is lot of research work is going in the field of Pervious Concrete. The compressive strength of Pervious Concrete is less when compared to the conventional concrete due to its porosity and voids. Hence, the usage of Pervious Concrete is limited even though it has lot of advantages. If the compressive strength and flexural strength of Pervious Concrete is increased, then it can be used for a greater number of applications. For now, the usage of Pervious Concrete is mostly limited to light traffic roads only. If the properties are improved, then it can also be used for medium and heavy traffic rigid pavements also. Along with that, the Pervious Concrete eliminates surface runoff of storm water, facilitates the ground water recharge, and makes the effective usage of available land. The Pervious Concrete can be an important part of context-sensitive construction and low-impact development used to improve water quality by capturing the "first flush" of surface runoff, reducing temperature rise in receiving waters, increasing base flow, and reducing flooding potential by creating short term storage detention of rainfall. In order to fully utilize these benefits, the hydrological behavior of the pervious concrete system must be assessed. The hydrological performance is usually a key parameter in decisions to use this material as a best management practice for storm water management. Pervious Concrete is an important application for the sustainable construction and is one of many low impact development techniques used by builders to protect water quality.

This study illuminates the intricate interplay between marketing, colourism, and the lives of women in Indian society. We delve into the profound impact of marketing strategies on the perpetuation of colourist norms and their far reaching consequences. Through comprehensive analysis conducted in a focused group comprising of 10 participants, we reveal how marketing perpetuates perceptions of dark skin and the detrimental impact on self perception, mental health, societal integration, and cultural identity. As we navigate this issue, our findings underscore the urgency of challenging these biases collectively and individually, fostering a society that celebrates diversity and inclusivity.

This paper endeavors to study the hypocrisy and hollowness predominant among most of the people of the present day society, by critically analyzing the poem "During Easter" by Robin S. Ngangom, one of the significant and seminal writers of North-East India. This paper aims to explore how through literature, Robin S. Ngangom, or the writers in general, give utterance to and brings to the forefront the serious and complex issues of our society. Literature, acting like an incentive and an impelling force, not only offers people the representation and apprehension of different complexities of people across the globe but at the same time possesses the ability to change or alter the ways and behavior of humans. It holds the capability to bend the human mind towards great ideas and philosophies, making them better human beings. This paper endeavors to disclose the problems related to erosion of human values, declining moral and spiritual values, violence, discrimination at the religious level as well as the great disparity existing between religion and human beings through the poem "During Easter" by Robin S. Ngangom.
