The present study has been conducted on adolescent girls belonging to Porbandar District. The main aim of the study is to perform anthropometric assessment of adolescent girls by recording weight, height and BMI and also to study the dietary pattern among them. Questionnaire was used as research tool to collect data from girls. . 71.6% of girls were not involved in any type of physical activities. 38% and 30.4% of girls were obese and overweight respectively. Present study also revealed that only 27%of girls had normal BMI. 63.6% of girls like to have all food items including spicy, sweet and oily.

The PERT Distribution is one of the most important distributions for practical use in business, because it is widely used to generate random values within a range in the financial models and simulations in the area of processes and analysis in general. Present Maximum Product Spacings of the unknown parameters of PERT distribution using Newton-Raphson iterative procedure. We also computed Average Estimate (AE), Variance (VAR), Standard Deviation (SD), Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Square Error (MSE), Relative Absolute Bias (RAB) and Relative Efficiency (RE) for both the parameters under sample based on 10,000 simulations to assess the performance of the estimators. A simulation study is conducted to evaluate the performance of the Maximum Product of Spacings estimates.

: ?-radiation is an electromagnetic radiation of the highest energy, highly penetrating and extremely high frequency . In present research work, SnO2/rGO nanocomposites powder were synthesized via Co-precipitation technique and then pellets are formed by using hydraulic press machine. Samples (T0, T30, T60, T120, T240) are irradiated using a Co60 gamma source with the various irradiation doses (0 kGy, 30 kGy, 60 kGy, 120 kGy, 240 kGy). In this light, the irradiated samples were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), UV-Vis spectroscopy and, Fourier transform Infrared microscopy (FTIR) to evaluate the effect of ?-ray irradiation on their microstructure and optical properties of nanocomposite-pellets. FTIR spectrum has been used to authenticate the formation of Sn-O-Sn and C=C bond indicated the existence of SnO2 and rGO, also increase in ?-ray doses peak intensities increases confirms reduction in particle size. XRD results revealed that the strong increment in ? corresponding to (101) planes of cassiterite SnO2/rGO nanostructure. This is evident from higher doses results reduction in crystallite size (D) [1] and increment in lattice strain (?). By Tauc plot analysis optical band-gap (OBG) were calculated, OBG of pristine SnO2/rGO nanocomposite-pellets is 3.58 eV, for irradiated samples T30, T60, T120, and T240 is 3.28 eV, 3.25, 3.19, and 3.11 eV results that as the ? -ray doses increases OBG decreases. The formation of shallow impurity states were responsible for the reduction of Eg with the increases in ? -ray doses [2]. According to this study, the flaws created by irradiation have a significant influence in the structural and optical characteristics of nanocomposites-pellets. In future, this research work is very useful for optoelectronic, microelectronics and, gas sensing applications.

ABSTRACT: The mental health of women is an important, but often neglected aspect of reproductive health. The present study is a pilot project to identify the association between antepartum depressive symptoms (APDS) and tokophobia among women attending Antenatal OPD at Institute of Maternal and child health, Kozhikode. Fifty antenatal women were screened for APDS using Edinburgh Depression Screening Scale (EPDS) and also assessed for tokophobia using Wijma Delivery Expectancy Questionnaire (W-DEQ). Fifty percent of women were screened positive for APDS and 36% of women tend to have tokophobia. APDS was significantly associated with tokophobia (?2 =5.558,p=0.018) along with social support and history of illness in present pregnancy(p<0.05). There is a high prevalence of depressive symptoms in pregnancy and need routine screening to identify APDS. Antepartum childbirth preparation sessions would be useful to reduce fear and increase the acceptance of pregnancy and delivery.

Mobile Ad-hoc Network have various techniques for improving the energy efficiency of routing between the mobile nodes. These modules are interconnected via wireless links. The mobility and limiting battery life of MANETs are the crucial aspects. Advanced strategies for increasing MANET energy efficiency and network lifespan are necessary. Clustering is a tried-and-true technique for prolonging the life of a network by reducing and balancing energy consumption. The network's energy performance is improved even more by selecting an appropriate cluster head from the cluster. Cluster heads (CHs) require more energy than non-cluster heads due to the additional responsibilities, Cluster heads (CHs) need more energy than non cluster heads. To increase the MANET network's energy efficiency and lifetime, a new technique for CH selection using a Hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization-Genetic Algorithm (PSO-GA) is proposed. Its an another approach of Hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization-Differential Evolution (PSO-DE). The proposed method is implemented using the NS-3 platform for the analysis. The Hybrid PSO-GA strategy is more efficient than the other methods, according to the evaluation.

After its first reported occurrence on 31st December 2019 and getting its name on Feb 11, 2020, Covid-19 was declared a Pandemic on March 11, 2020, by the World Health Organization (WHO). The highly contagious nature of the disease along with its incompletely understood transmission process and the absence of a definitive cure made it extremely difficult for World Governments and their Health care providers to effectively contain the infection. In extreme cases, Covid-19 has been observed to result in severe respiratory discomfort, multiple organ failure, and eventually death. Covid-19 based Pneumonia was observed in a small percentage (2% to 8%) of the infected patients which was found to be more fatal compared to regular pneumonia. RT-PCR is the current recommended standard for the detection of Covid-19, but RT-PCR has been proven to be oblivious to early stages of Covid-19 Pneumonia and is associated with low sensitivity, reportedly as low as 30% to 70%. Chest CT and X-rays exhibit superior sensitivity over RT-PCR but cannot differentiate between Covid-19 and Non Covid-19 pneumonia. Therefore, this paper proposes the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist in the detection and classification of Covid-19 pneumonia from Non Covid-19 pneumonia and No Covid using X-Ray images. A 2D Deep Learning CNN architecture is proposed for solving Binary classification (Covid-19 vs Normal) and Multiclass Classification (Covid-19 pneumonia vs Non Covid-19 pneumonia vs Normal) problem of a custom created diverse X-ray dataset.

Non-rechargeable batteries with restrained energy capability are used to power the wireless sensor network nodes, but in hostile conditions, replacing a node battery is a difficult task. Thus, enhancing the energy efficiency resulting in increasing the lifetime of the network is a suitable decision. Recent work suggests that clustering is an efficient mechanism for reducing energy consumption, increasing network scalability, maintain load balancing, all of which contribute to maximizing total network life. Appropriate cluster head selection in a cluster is also crucial as it prominently affects the wireless sensor network life. Metaheuristic algorithms can be utilized effectively for this. This paper main contribution is to design a bee colony optimization technique named ABCGA dependent on an artificial bee method. In the proposed algorithm ABCGA, the artificial bee method is integrated with the features of the genetic algorithm for optimal cluster head selection. Also, data compression is done before data transmission, resulting in reduced energy consumption and increased network life. Simulation findings demonstrated that the proposed approach ABCGA outperforms the LEACH, PBC-CP, PSO, and HSA-PSO techniques in terms of the following factors- the number of active nodes, the number of nodes dead, Remaining Energy, and Throughput.
